I set an appointment with Roberto via text and today Danylo arrived at the time we agreed to. He set to work immediately and did an amazing job. The bathtub in our 1982 home had been reglazed once before but was now chipping off in the bottom. There was a reasonable fee for the repair work he did first and then he sanded and taped plastic over everything like a mini paint booth. He stopped to confirm the color and level of gloss I wanted and got back to work. I was really happy when he used a ventilation device with an 18" flex pipe that went out the closest bedroom window that really kept the extreme smell to a minimum. He also added a sand-like material to make the bottom portion non-slip. I highly recommend Top Reglazing for their reasonable pricing, quality workmanship and for doing what they said they would do, which can be hard to come by in this area. Perhaps the best money I have ever spent. My house was built in 1973 and the yellow shower tile was a constant reminder. While we thought that Ryan was initially professional and responsive, we ended being disappointed with Top Reglazing. The initial reglazing was poorly executed: the old color showed through in places, water stains removed the glaze, and we ended up with a gritty finish. After I complained and provided pictures, Ryan sent back the same workman (Max) to redo the bathtub. The second glazing better covers the old color but is still gritty and uneven, and is prone to taking dirt stains which are difficult to remove. It is very difficult to clean this tub because of its rough surface. Furthermore, when we sent a written complaint to Ryan, he did not respond. We wasted our money and regret using Top Reglazing. read more

We recently noticed minor marks/scratches on our "newly" reglazed tub. It was reglazed in February. The scratches didn't appear to have gone through the glaze but I needed peace of mind. I had just recommended this company to a friend so it spurred me to contact them to check on the scratches. Ryan was, again, very responsive. He quickly suggested a date to come and follow up on situation. He arrived on time and after confirming the scratches were essentially the original ones from the damage done by dog claws before reglazing...that it was the peace of mind I needed. The glaze on top was still as good as new. I can't even post before and after photos because it was so minor. You honestly couldn't see them unless your son puts his dirty feet into the tub and the grime fills the non-slip surface. I used Ryan in 2016 to reglaze two vintage tubs in my "new to me" home. He did an excellent job, and I'm embarrassed to admit that I forgot to submit this request at the time. It wasn't until I needed to reach out to Ryan for a referral in November 2019 that I realized I forgot to sing his praises on Yelp in 2016! It may have been three years ago, but here's what I remember from my experience with Ryan: 1) he arrived on time; 2) he presented himself professionally in dress, communication and knowledge; 3) he used his time efficiently; 4) he was respectful, kind and helpful; 5) he advised me how to care for the reglazed tubs; and 6) he offered to provide referrals for other bathroom work that I intended to do. These days there are a lot of "contractors" out there who sound good on the phone, but when they show up in person (if they even show up), they are oftentimes unprofessional, unprepared, inexperienced, undetailed and uncommunicative. I can't say enough good things about this company, or Ryan and his team. From the initial inquiry, he communicated clearly concerning what I needed done, provided a detailed estimate, and gave me a good timeline for completion of the work. He was very helpful as I tried to define the scope of work for myself, after realizing that a complete remodel of our bathrooms was not in the picture for the near term (time/money/work from home life). He and one other tech arrived on time and set to work making sure that surfaces adjacent to the bathtub/shower were covered/taped off & protected. He brought all the equipment needed to ventilate the project and did not disturb anything in the process of crossing through to windows in the basement. He communicated throughout the day concerning completion progress and explained the work before he concluded the project. In addition to the reglazing, he fixed tile cracks to seal them and addressed other issues he encountered without adding to the initial quote. Lastly, he charged what he quoted and he gave me great tips for how to keep the resurfaced baths clean w/out marring the finish.
