Louis and Zakk are some stand up guys. COMMUNICATION was outstanding - huge, when you're dealing with contractors. Their price was competitive, but not the lowest - being responsive was more important to me. One small itch was charging a bit more after the fact due to some supposedly difficult demo - a little ticky tack - but we split the difference. That said, the quality of workmanship and moreover the fact they finished AHEAD of schedule earned them a full-up five stars from me. Thanks guys! read more

I recently had Beaulieu Floors install about 600 sq. ft. of LVP and Berber carpet on my basement steps. I received several quotes, and theirs was the most competitive by far. The manager, Driss, made the process incredibly easy, even ordering samples ahead of time. The installers, Walter and Geovanny, were fantastic--they arrived on time both days, moved my furniture with care, and finished the entire job in just 1.5 days. The quality of the work is top-notch; the planks are installed tight and the new shoe molding provides a very clean, professional finish. What really impressed me was the cleanup--they vacuumed everything and removed all excess materials, leaving the space ready to use. They even left the extra planks and carpet for future use. If you want high-quality work and a stress-free process at a great price, I highly recommend this team! read more

Wow! I am still pinching myself as I write this review. I had reached out to Louis and his team this past January (2020) as my husband and I had recently purchased our first home and had a failed attempt to refinish the original hardwood floors ourselves. We reached out to Louis with a tight timeline as we needed to move in to the house within the week. Louis and his team were able to step in and refinished our beautiful hardwood floors just in time for us to move in. We couldn't be more grateful for their ability to work on our timeline and truly did a fantastic job erasing the damage from the prior owners. Recently, my parents visited and accidentally placed some duct tape on our hardwood floors. I reached out to Louis to see if they could be repaired and he kindly offered to come the next day for the repair free of charge. He truly had the best customer service and I cannot be happier we have worked with him!' read more

They are first rate - professional, courteous, and they did a great job refinishing wood floors.

Beaulieu recently refinished my 75 year old hardwoods upstairs. Louis Beaulieu is wonderful, as is his crew. Professional, clean, thoughtful, and very fairly priced. I first saw his work when I had an addition built ~10 years ago and my builder used him. Thank goodness I remembered his name. On that job he perfectly blended the original hardwoods to new hardwood in the addition. I am more than satisfied. read more

Beaulieu Floors is the most professional and reliable contracting business I have used. They have done several projects for me, floor refinishing, carpet replacement, luxury vinyl planking, and refinishing wood handrails. They are always on time, if not earlier, and never leave any mess once done. They always make sure I am satisfied and entertain any care questions I have. read more

I recently listed and sold a home in Kingstowne (Alexandria, VA) and my clients put in new carpeting to help the home look its best. I asked them who they used since I really found the quality of installation and work to be excellent. I then referred Beaulieu Floors to real estate client in Reston who ended up purchasing new carpet and installation from them. Then when another Realtor I work with asked for a recommendation for a quick carpet removal...I sent Beaulieu their way...and they had only good things to say about how professional and timely they were! read more

We had hardwood floors refinished by Beaulieu in 2016. We then hired Beaulieu in 2018 to remove carpet and install new hardwood on our second floor. And now in 2019 we have had hardwood floor refinished in another house. All 3 times we were satisfied with the work. Louis Beaulieu gives good advice. The prices are reasonable and the workers are efficient and polite. read more

We had a 36" x 36" area of hardwood that needed to be replaced. They worked with my schedule to come out and get the job done. As I had the replacement planks, they needed to figure out what thickness of plywood to install beneath it. They did an excellent job, and my floor looks fabulous! Very happy with them. They are now my 'go to' guys for all my flooring needs. Flexiable scheduling and reasonably priced.. read more

Beaulieu Floors installed ceramic tiles and refinished the floors in my condo last fall and everything still looks fantastic. Beaulieu Floors, Inc., is a very customer-oriented business that I highly recommend. We had wall-to-wall carpet in a master bedroom and we couldn't decide whether we wanted to put carpet down again or refinish the existing wood flooring. Owner Louis Beaulieu met with us, brought carpet samples to the house for us to look at, and he priced both options. Prices were as expected (fair/reasonable). We opted for re-doing the wood. Louis kept in touch with us the whole time with reminders of when the work would start, who the project lead would be, and he answered any questions we had. The workers were prompt, polite, and made sure to cover windows, doorways, carpeting, etc., to keep as much dust out of the rest of the house as possible. For the second coat, Louis reconfirmed the date and time, and the workers also let me know their expected arrival time. Louis provided floor care instructions when the job was finished.... and... the floor looks great! We'll surely invite him back for our next floor project. read more

We just used Beaulieu floors for the second time. They installed and finished 3/4" oak floors in our kitchen addition last year - which was tough because they had to blend the original floor in the main part of the house with the new oak floor in the addition - it looks fantastic! We had them back this year to refinish the oak floors in the bedrooms, hallways and steps. These look awesome too! Louis is the owner, so this is a small family owned business that prides themselves on value, quality and reputation! Highly recommend!!! read more

Beaulieu Floors is superb in customer service and quality of workmanship. Louis Beaulieu promptly came out for an estimate and listened carefully to my needs in deciding between refreshing a carpet or refinishing hardwood underneath, as well as to my scheduling and budgetary constraints. He noted potential problems with the refinishing and associated costs. Beaulieu Flooring offered very competitive pricing, and Louis and his team did a magnificent job of refinishing the battered, splattered upstairs floor and stairway of my townhouse (the potential problems did not materialize, but I appreciated the heads up). The workers were tidy and punctual throughout the project, which was completed ahead of schedule. Mr. Beaulieu also quoted on adding a stair runner in the future and suggested ways for me to save money on that work. I highly recommend this company, and Louis himself is a personable guy and great to work with. read more
