The quality of the work is top-notch; the planks are installed tight and the new shoe molding provides a very clean, professional finish. What really impressed me was the cleanup--they vacuumed everything and removed all excess materials, leaving the space ready to use. They even left the extra planks and carpet for future use. I had reached out to Louis and his team this past January (2020) as my husband and I had recently purchased our first home and had a failed attempt to refinish the original hardwood floors ourselves. Beaulieu Floors, Inc., is a very customer-oriented business that I highly recommend. We had wall-to-wall carpet in a master bedroom and we couldn't decide whether we wanted to put carpet down again or refinish the existing wood flooring. Owner Louis Beaulieu met with us, brought carpet samples to the house for us to look at, and he priced both options. Prices were as expected (fair/reasonable). We opted for re-doing the wood. Louis kept in touch with us the whole time with reminders of when the work would start, who the project lead would be, and he answered any questions we had. The workers were prompt, polite, and made sure to cover windows, doorways, carpeting, etc., to keep as much dust out of the rest of the house as possible. For the second coat, Louis reconfirmed the date and time, and the workers also let me know their expected arrival time. They installed and finished 3/4" oak floors in our kitchen addition last year - which was tough because they had to blend the original floor in the main part of the house with the new oak floor in the addition - it looks fantastic! We had them back this year to refinish the oak floors in the bedrooms, hallways and steps. These look awesome too! Louis Beaulieu promptly came out for an estimate and listened carefully to my needs in deciding between refreshing a carpet or refinishing hardwood underneath, as well as to my scheduling and budgetary constraints. He noted potential problems with the refinishing and associated costs. Beaulieu Flooring offered very competitive pricing, and Louis and his team did a magnificent job of refinishing the battered, splattered upstairs floor and stairway of my townhouse (the potential problems did not materialize, but I appreciated the heads up). The workers were tidy and punctual throughout the project, which was completed ahead of schedule. Mr. Beaulieu also quoted on adding a stair runner in the future and suggested ways for me to save money on that work.
