We had an acrylic bathtub/shower unit that needed to be brought back to life. Miracle Method came in and resurfaced the unit and it looks like new! We were very pleased that we could retain the original unit (which was still in good shape, except for the dull finish) and didn't have to disrupt the sheet rock and have the added expense of bringing in a new unit. It was a quick and affordable solution. read more

I reached out to the company via Yelp on a Sunday and because I had a deadline to meethe owner set us up for our appointment immediately the following morning. I appreciate the prompt responses and speedy service. Our once stained tub looks shiny and new. So much so that I'm afraid to shower in it... read more

Excellent work on a complicated job. Both technicians were very professional and polite. Office staff was also professional polite.

I had an aqua bathroom -- tub, sinks, and toilet. I replaced everything. However, not wanting to try to replace the tub, I was looking for a company to refinish my aqua bathtub in white. I contacted three companies. Miracle Method was the only company that gave me a professional quote. After considering the three companies, it was obvious Miracle Method was the company to choose. They did a fabulous job on my bathtub. You would never know it was once aqua blue. I put in a new toilet, new sinks, new quartz countertop and new faucets. My bathroom looks beautiful now, thanks to Miracle Method. It's been several months, and the tub still looks as good as the day it was finished. Thank you Miracle Method. read more

Miracle Method resurfaced the 22year old bathtub in my guest bathroom. Initially I was a bit skeptical about the process in general, but when Chris was done it looked brand new. Everyone at MM is very friendly, courteous, prompt and professional. Dereck, the sales consultant was straight up and very informative, no hard sell and gave me all the best options to stay within my budget. Over 60% of the job is prep work, and Chris essentially "sealed off" the area of my house that he had to work in, installed an exhaust system, and when he was completely done, I could not find a speck of dust (trust me I looked, because I am very anal retentive :). For what it cost to replace an existing bathtub or shower cabin, MM's refinishing is the way to go, very reasonable pricing and a great product. I signed up today to have MM refinish the shower cabin in my main bathroom next week. Looking forward to it! read more

We purchased an older manufactured home last summer and hired Miracle Method to refinish the counter tops in the kitchen and vanity in the bath and had the shower and tub/shower enclosure done. We had used Miracle Method twice before in other homes to refresh counter tops and tubs. It is a very cost effective way to give your bath and kitchen a new look. I highly recommend Miracle Method and have been very happy with the results. read more

We needed our kitchen counters, tub, show, and bathroom tile floor done. We wanted it done fast too. They gave me a bid over the phone, they came the next day with a written bid. Matthew did the job for us, and started a few days after the bid. He did a fantastic job. He cleaned up after himself, and he was so nice and polite too. Thank you Miracle Method! read more

I would give less than one star if I could. The product did not work for my problem. My tub got stained from a chemical reaction to essential oils and Epsom salts. The stains came back, the company re finished a second time and the stains came back. The company refuses to stand by their work, insists that what has happened cannot happen and has falsely accused me of continuing to use essential oils in the tub. I have not used the tub in over a year. So while it might work for some, it didn't work for me. Since the company will not stand by their work or product, I do not recommend Miracle Method. read more

We had them work on our investment property. We live in a different state so having a reliable contractor is very important! Called them up, spoke with Tia. Agreed on a price over the phone - they came in, sent me a picture of the before, during and after. We are a happy customer. Will be calling again when need arises. Price reasonable, quality solid. Owner sent a follow up email. Well done. read more

It's been about 8 months since my tub/shower surround was refinished. It took 4 trips out to fix issues after the first time wasn't done correctly. I still wish I would have just spent the extra money and replaced the surround instead of the refinishing that is starting to peel in a few areas. I am not comfident the finish will last the 5 years since it hasn't even been a year yet. If you are looking for a quick fix to sell or if you have a guest bath you barely use this is probably a good option. If you use the shower daily I don't recommend the refinishing is a good choice. read more

I hired Miracle Method to refinish two bathtubs in my house. The sales rep thoroughly explained the process and was very professional. Upon completion, one bathtub was perfect and one had several minor flaws. When the company called for final payment they asked how the work turned out and I told them. Without me needing to ask, they offered to promptly return to repair the flaws. I now have two perfect looking bathtub surfaces. read more

They had zero scheduling issues with us, which I was nervous about based on other reviews. We had a crack in our nearly new Jacuzzi fiberglass tub and Jacuzzi agreed to cover it under warranty if the inspection proved to be a defect. They sent Miracle Method. I was given 9-11 window for the inspection. He showed at 9am on the dot. Nice guy. Quick inspection. Said they'd get back to me after coordinating with Jacuzzi. I heard right back from them and they schedule the work LESS THAN AN HOUR later. Person showed right up as stated and fixed the crack perfectly. You'd never even know it was there. I didn't even have to sign anything. They're dealing with Jacuzzi directly. I was pretty upset with the crack but I was totally thrilled with Miracle Method. Thank you! My tub looks like new again. read more

Our kids bathtub had a botched repair job by the previous owner that we discovered last November. After calling a couple of fiberglass repair specialists, we learned the bathtub was probably plastic, and we'd have to replace the entire tub. Because there's tile around the bathtub too, we sat on our hands for months, hemming and hawing about how expensive it was going to be. Miracle Method to the rescue! Literally. Our tech, Owen, did an amazing job, and was very professional. He spent an hour more than he planned color matching to our old bathtub. I wish we had found this option sooner, and avoided a good six months of procrastinating. read more

We were so pleased with the resurfacing of our 40 year old total tub surround. Finish was totally gone, looked dirty all the time :( A.J. was respectful of our space, good with our two dogs, knowledgeable about the product and very friendly. He did an amazing job! He took the time to make sure we were happy with the results and understood how to properly care for it. He completed the project in less than 8 hrs. Price was as we were quoted. Salesman and A.J. are wonderful spokesmen for this business. Would recommend them highly to anyone in need of this service. read more

The technician showed up an hour after our designated 2 hour window. The Technician was not friendly and seemed hurried. The workmanship was very poor as areas were not bonded properly. We called to have them return and fix the work and they sent the same technician. After he was 'done' we checked his work and there were still areas that were not finished correctly. We babysat him for another 30 minutes showing areas that needed to be fixed. We tried calling and complaining to the Management, but the receptionists wouldn't forward our calls. They were quick to ask for a review which we gladly sent to Miracle Methods website explaining our displeasure with the poor service and even worse workmanship, but never received a response or follow up. Only after leaving a Yelp review did we ever get a response from the company as you can likely read below. read more

MM was helpful in determining the appropriate work to be done, they were efficient and scheduling the work, they did the work well and on-time, and they cleaned up the job site after their work. The tub looks great, and I hope that it's refinishing will last a long time. read more

Was a quick and painless! my outdated shower surround looks AMAZING! Thank you!

I have a floating home, which means that to get here you have to park up in the lot, go down a big ramp, and across about 50 yards of dock to get to my house, and the tub is upstairs after that. It is a difficult place to get construction, and I could not see getting a new tub up to my second floor bathroom after all that. So Miracle came in, spent 2 days sanding and cleaning and painting and finishing. It looks beautiful. It is not new, but it looks new, and that is all I need. The contractor did the job on time, as specified, left no trace behind, and was very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend. read more

I was so impressed by the young man who came to give me an estimate. He told me that he and the owner are the only two that do quotes. When he saw my sink he said "I think it would cost you less to just have this sink replaced". I was shocked at his honesty. This is truly a company to use because not only will they do an excellent job they will not overcharge. read more

This was a repair of work that this company had previously completed. BEWARE!... this is not a lifetime solution as the "paint" chips, bubbles, etc. and when it does, they'll insinuate that it's your fault. I pointed out to Robert, the gentleman that completed the estimate, the areas that needed to be repaired. It's REALLY obvious since the tub/tile used to be blue and is now an almond color. Anyway....a generic estimate was written to repair two tubs at $225 each. When I asked the repair person about the other 3 small chips (2 on the tile and 1 on the soap dish), he said he couldn't repair them as it wasn't specifically on the estimate...even though I had pointed them out to the estimator and they're part of the work that the company had originally completed. The repair person asked that I call the office but, unfortunately, they were already closed for the day. I was told that the repairs would take 1 hour for each bathroom and it ended up taking 5 hours!...hence the office being closed. Long story short, I didn't notice until after the repair person was pulling out of our driveway that an area he fixed had so much paint applied to it that it was dripping down the side of the tub. When I spoke to the office today, the agreed to come out and fix the part that's all drippy but wants to charge another $125.00 to fix the 3 other chips that are smaller than a pea. BEWARE...get it ALL in writing and confirm everything! read more

Miracle Method produced miraculous results with the horrendously pitted, stained, flaking tub and kitchen sink in our vintage condo. The before and after was astonishing. Professional, efficient, skilled. read more

Do not use miracle method in your Kitchen cabinets. I used them for my counters and cabinets a year ago. The paint started to crack and peel right away. The people from the company went home, brought paint and said that it was my fault. I am very careful and I follow all the original instructions. Now the paint from the cabinets is making bubbles. The kitchen is to cook and to be used. I do not cook every day and only do simple meals. Definitely not recommended for someone that cook frequently and has a large family. Do NOT spend your money with Miracle Method. You will regret it! read more

I used them 10 years ago and they were great. I called them to do some repair/refinishing work while in the midst of a bathroom remodel and they were quick to come and give an estimate, but failed to show up and do the work when scheduled this week. They called after the appointed time for arrival and canceled and after begging that they come out to finish so the rest of the remodel could proceed on schedule, they failed to show up during the rescheduled time and I'm SOL. read more

Prompt, courteous, well explained and competently finished. Left the place cleaner than he found it.

They did a great job on a difficult tub. They were extremely fair with their pricing, and we couldn't be happier. Nice work, Miracle Method!

Although slightly more expensive then discount refinishers in the area they are well worth it. They refinished my tub and tile countertops and they look and feel amazing. Great communications and easy to deal with. read more

We recently had 2 tubs and 3 vanity tops refinished for about $2,500. The technician was very friendly, courteous and professional. The job took 2 days to complete and we couldn't be happier. Communication with the main office was exemplary. If we had questions, they were answered quickly and to our satisfaction. I did notice a very small defect on the tub edge the day after it was finished. After sending an e-mail, it was handled promptly and the technician came out to fix it. I highly recommend this company. With the warranty it was a very good deal, looks fantastic and should last for several years. read more

We had a chip in our undermount kitchen sink. So our options were to pull up the countertops and put in a new sink, or repair the existing one. We were referred to Miracle Method by a contractor friend. They masked off the entire corner of the kitchen, floor to ceiling, like a quarantine room. It took a few hours the first day for prep and surfacing. And another couple hours the next morning to polish and cut in the surface cure. It looks amazing - brand new. Our installer called to let us know his arrival time. And he was very courteous. I would recommend this company for any resurfacing needs. Affordable, timely, friendly. read more

The staff of Miracle Method was extremely rude after I called when the technician was several hours late. I was told, "I'm not their real customer," because the landlord of the house I live in is the 'real customer,' and that they are short staffed so appointments are taking longer today. I would have appreciated that information this morning so I didn't sit around all afternoon. Also, how am I not a real customer, if I'm coordinating the appointments and interacting with their staff? If you use this company be aware there is a lack of communication between their office, technicians, and the person waiting around all afternoon, having wasted hours of time off work. read more

Super friendly staff, from the person who set up our appointment to the technician who performed the work. Our very old looking shower/tub combo was cleaned and resurfaced, and it now looks brand new! read more

The 50 year old tub is beautiful! better than new! The technician did an amazing job. He showed up on time, masked off the bathroom well, and cleaned up afterward. Was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Made the experience easy during a very stressful time of lots of construction going on in a rental. Really appreciate how nice everyone was from scheduler to technician. Certainly is a miracle, and better than replacing the tub/surround! read more

They broke the shower drain cover while refinishing shower floor. When I called to ask them to fix it they were rude and nasty. I had to pay a plumber to fix the problem after paying them a very high price of $745 to refuse the shower floor. Beware of these guys!! read more

We had a very good experience with this company. Fast response, courteous staff, VERY nice looking results.

Our 27 year old fiberglass shower insert looks like new again, it was an eyesore for quite awhile but didn't want the hassle and expense of tearing it out. Miracle Method made it easy to get an accurate estimate and schedule quickly to have the work done. We not only got the shower refinished but got a matching counter top. They have many colors to pick from so it feels like a custom bathroom for us. They also repaired a badly patched crack in our tub for a reasonable price. Highly recommend this company if you want to upgrade an old counter top or shower/tub without breaking the bank. read more

Saw them at a recent home show. We have a fiberglass tub/shower we want to resurface. We gave them our name, address and phone. We were supposed to hear from someone 2 days later. It's now 8 days later and I have not heard from anyone. If you want to drum up new business, you actually have to follow up. Now I'm looking at other companies and other methods. I learned about Miracle Method by researching options for tile restoration. Having only one bathroom, I wanted something that wouldn't require a lot of down time. They replied to my request for an estimate immediately and I was scheduled for service within two weeks. The wait time was mostly due to ordering a new shower door, which was competitively priced, especially since it was professional installed and the old door disposed of. The two day process was explained upfront and went very well. The smells from the finish and sealing were as expected and dissipated about as fast as fresh paint, with the help of an open window and fan. I am extremely happy with Miracle Method and I feel like I got a new shower without all the mess and cost. I highly recommend this solution for a beautiful update to old, dull tile. I'm saving up to have them do my kitchen counter tops next! If you're thinking about an update, call Miracle Method today, you won't be sorry! read more

We had our tub and shower surround refinished by Miracle Method of Portland in June 2013. They provided us with a 5 year warranty. There were some blemishes in the finish at the time of work completion, and we were told that "that's how these jobs turn out, but not to worry because there's a 5 year warranty." It's now almost 5 years later and sure enough the finish is peeling. Keep in mind, this is not our main tub/shower and it does not get used every day. It's used twice a week. I called to use our warranty and sent pictures. When she called back, the receptionist, Rayn, said she spoke with management and they determined that the peeling is not 100% a warranty issue, that it looks like it's been caused by water being in contact with the surface! I told her that I don't use abrasive cleaners to clean the surface, we don't have any leaks or drips, the tub is only used twice a week, and there are no areas of standing water. We don't leave soap or shampoo containers sitting on the surface, and none have been dropped. She offered for me to speak with management, and I said that yes, I would love to speak with management, as this is 100% a warranty issue. Instead she came back on the line and reiterated that this is not 100% a warranty issue, but that I could pay them $100 to have it fixed. Management would not speak with me. Avoid this company like the plague. read more
