Bad experience!! I went to Polaris fashion place location. I always go for eyebrows at different places and I know what is professional threading is. Eyebrow threading was not good. she completed in less than a min and did not even bother to show me how my eyebrows look. no lotion after that. It was not done right so i asked her to do it properly. Lady looked frustrated and again did in some seconds. Thread was not good as it was painful. When at the counter I did not give tip, she banged receipt. No politieness at all. @Manager- you need to get better employees and teach them to be polite enough!! read more

This place satisfies my insane girl need to have my eyebrows look polished. I am by no means the first to discover this place. I got there an hour after it opened on Saturday morning and there was a line of 5 women ahead of me! Eyebrow threading is awesome. It looks ridiculous and you feel ridiculous holding your eye shut while they do it, but it's well worth it. No risk of a waxing mishap (think burned/torn skin or no eyebrow left). I would give it 5 stars, but it's a bit pricey in my mind. $14 for eyebrows. However, I have hunted around Columbus since moving here and it doesn't get any cheaper for other places that do waxing. read more

I had my first threading done a couple years ago and vowed never to go back to waxing! Threading hurts -but not horribly bad. You may tear up a bit (I witnessed one woman who cried and sneezed), you look goofy holding your eyelid shut, but it is very precise and longer lasting than waxing. Normally I'm a bit leery of the chain shops set up in malls as I have heard some bad stories about them, but not here! There is almost always several people waiting to get threaded, but it moves fairly quickly. The pricing is about average for this type of service and much more reasonable than some places that charge you close to 20$ for wax. Threading may look weird, but it is so worth it in the end. read more

I decided to try threading since the reviews here were so good. Here's my experience: - It wasn't where the mall map said it would be, so I had to walk around for 20 minutes at the mall before stumbling on Miracle Eyebrows by accident. - When I went in, the girl at the counter stared at me, before saying "Yes?" as if I was interrupting her. There weren't many people there. - I told her I was wondering if there was an availability soon for a threading and a dye. She turned around, walked to a chair, and said "Sit." I obediently sat down, but asked "How much?" and she asked someone else in Hindi. They had a full conversation, before she told me it would amount to almost $40 (!). I consented, but only because I'd driven to Polaris for 25 minutes and spent all that time looking for ME Inc. - Which made the cynical part of me wonder, is there a different price depending on who asks? If you look at the website, it doesn't offer prices. I would have thought that the person behind the counter would know the answer to such a basic question.. - The threading itself is no better or worse than plucking or waxing. They're all pretty much the same. - She didn't ask me how I wanted my eyebrows, which I thought was weird. Some people like dramatic arches, very plucked or barely plucked, she should have found out before starting. - Overall, the experience was okay. I was not thrilled with my eyebrows, but not unhappy with them either. They are okay. My issue was with the service and the price.. - Probably won't go there again, and wouldn't recommend. read more

I have been going here for about two years on and off and finally I decided that I will no longer be going here. This service is hit or miss depending on who you get. The past few times I've had them redo it because I am not happy about it which doesn't help because they tell you to sit down in the chair in the immediately start working before you have a chance to tell them what you want. Today I had a woman who did not seem friendly at all and she barely said hello. When she started she was trying to do way too much for each pull to the point where she was pulling so hard I could hear it ripping out of my skin. At one point she was trying to get so much at once she broke the thread. It hurt really badly and it shouldn't be that bad. I had to ask her to trim up the hair and there were so many issues that I didn't want her to keep going so I just quit. When I got home I had to spend another half an hour fixing the mistakes. The biggest issue is that she left bald spots on my right eyebrow and did not get all of the hair off of the top of my left eyebrow. If you want pleasantry and consistency, go somewhere else. read more

I had been going here loyally for over a year but have decided to take my business elsewhere due to the recent price hike. I'm sorry but offsetting the cost of your newly remodeled location isn't going to come from my pocket. Combine that with the fact that this place is hit or miss depending on who you get, I just had further incentive. I've frequently had to settle for having my eyebrows done by a woman who tucks her cell phone into her head wrap and clucks away in a foreign language throughout the process of threading my eyebrows. It isn't a relaxing experience but this certainly doesn't help. It's also rude. Combine that with the fact that she needs an altoid, mentos, mint of any kind really because her breath smells like hot garbage. If the old woman with glasses isn't working, I recommend going elsewhere. Hell, I recommend going elsewhere in general. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars!!! Before I let the lady get to work on my brows I explained to her SEVERAL times that I just wanted them cleaned up and to take NO WIDTH!! Showed her photo examples and everything. I'm Greek and I love my full eyebrows, ya know? I had let them grow out for MONTHS and this lady hacked them - I kid you not - to about the size of a fine sharpie line. This ----------- is about how thick they are now. I told her how unhappy I was and she still made me pay!!! Not to mention the horrible pain (I've had bikini waxes that were more pleasant). Blood was drawn and I still have welts HOURS later! I work at the mall and attended this place on my lunch break. I had never been before but was very curious about the whole experience. Walking in there was one girl in the chair getting her eyebrows done and another waiting. I walked up signed in and only had to wait maybe a total of less then 10 min, I would say the employee was able to get each of us girls done in 5 mins time. I was impressed with her speed and how it wasn't painful at all and the cost was not bad either. I will be going back in 6 weeks:) read more

Honestly, this place is such a joke. I've been going to the Tuttle location for the past 2 years and I have finally had enough. The only reason why I have been going for so long is because when they do my eyebrows right, they look incredible, but here's the thing. It's totally hit or miss. I just got my eyebrows done tonight and they looked great, but the last time I went there, the girl made one of my eyebrows shorter, skinnier, and more crooked than the other. Even my husband noticed and that's saying something. PLUS, you pay $14 for service that quite honestly is very inconsistent. My biggest pet peeve ... THE SERVICE SUCKS. Oh my gosh. I've had maaaaybe 2 people who were friendly and made me feel like they knew what they were doing in the 2 years since I've been going. I don't ever recommend this place to anyone because I always feel like I'm on the verge of going elsewhere. For one thing, there have been multiple times where I go in there and they've closed early, lights out and all, 15-20 minutes before other stores even close. Really? All you do is throw away string and balance the cash register!! The store isn't really ever busy, maybe one or two people ahead of you. One time I went in 20 minutes before the mall closed and they had to have a meeting about whether or not to thread my eyebrows. The girls are usually incredibly rude. I always try to be as friendly as possible with them, and I rarely get a smile back. The girl who did my eyebrows tonight didn't even greet me until I smiled and said, "Hi! How are you!?" She just looked at me and said a barely audible "Hi." No smile. When she was done threading my eyebrows, she said, "I'm finished." Then walked away from me leaving eyebrow hair all over my face and stood at the cash register with her back to me. She was so rude that I'm calling the manager tomorrow. I recently went to the location at the Tuttle Mall. There was only one lady working and i told her to not make them too thin. The store is now called by me "Its a Miracle I have an eyebrow left." They were too thin for me but not noticeably ruined to anyone else. I left the girl a $2 cash tip in the bowl to be nice and charged the rest on my card. Come to find out when the charge went through she had added a $2 tip!! I promptly called the corporate office and talked to a real person and told her what happened, She said she would call me back before the end of the day...Now a week has passed with no call back. Its not about the $2 its about the principle. Heck I can get my brows done for $4 more at Charles Penzone!! read more

While she was waxing my eyebrows she got annoyed that I didn't know how to hold my eyebrows because I'd never been there before. Once she was done my eyebrows were 2 different shapes and one was much thinner than the other, while the other had a few bald spots. read more

I went in today and had my eyebrows done but an African American lady. Never have i had such a terrible experience. My eyebrows are so thin they look drawn on and they look completely different. I have one that is short and completely flat and the other has an unnatural arch. I wish i could post a picture here. She also was speaking to someone on speaker phone all the while and was hasty and the result showed that.I would recommend the Indian ladies any day but this other lady has no business working there. read more

I went in for my first threading on a Wed around 4pm at Polaris. I was 3rd in line and was out in about 20 mins. The threading itself took less than 5 and was not nearly as painful as tweezing or waxing. They moved and are now down at the Macys end of Polaris 14.95 charge for brows. I will be back! read more

I went there to get eyelash extensions. Not only does did the lady speak very little english, I dont think she had any idea what she was doing! She did my eyelashes, and me thinking they looked good paid and walked away. That night i woke up from excruciating pain. It felt like my eye lashes were being pulled on. I couldn't keep my eyes open, and i couldn't leave them shut. The next morning I called the Polaris location to see if i could get them removed. I could barely understand the lady on the phone. I told her my situation and she had no idea what to do, so she directed me to the tuttle location where the woman (that did them) worked. I called and they said they would remove them for free. So i drove 30 minutes to find out that they didn't know what to do. A woman who seemed like she knew more (but not much more) tried showing the lady who did them how to remove them (I'm guessing that's how she showed her how to do them as well) They took a look at them and the more experienced one was telling her what she did wrong. They then followed to tell me they didn't know what to do about them, but not once did they ask me if I wanted a refund. I was disgusted. I thought these people were professionals, and now because of it I am left to spend 50 dollars just to get them removed. I will not be returning there. I will rather spend top dollar knowing I'm getting what I paid for. read more

Went in around 5:30 p.m. on a Thursday night. I have had threading before, but never has it been so abrasive. When she gave me the mirror I had hardly any eyebrows. I will not return. I have been a client since this location opened years ago. When I went it was the first time in a year because they had been RUDE on my previous trip. I arrived 15 minutes before they closed. The lady at the counter stated she would not do Henna because she was about to leave. She then walked away and told a different employee to my brows and repeated; I'm not doing henna. She then packed up and sat down until my brows were done. Finally, I go back. No one spoke. The lady gestured to the seat. Never said a word until she told my to hold my brows. She did not use witch hazel to clean them or after. She did not ask how I wanted my brows. I hate my brows they are way to thin and one has a line horizontally through it. They ends are so thin from a distance it looks like they stop at the top of the arch. I am done.
