I absolutely love this place! My skin is sensitive to waxing & I often end up with rashes. So, I prefer threading. I go to Elegant Eyebrows regularly for eyebrow threading, and for my whole face several times a year. But- my favorite thing is the cluster eyelashes. My eyelashes are fine, short & blonde. I can't afford (the $ or time) it takes to maintain individual lash extensions all year. So, when I have a "one off" event or just want to look pretty, I get the clusters. It takes about 20 minutes. They always look great, are ridiculously inexpensive & when I'm ready for them to come off, I just rub oil into them a few times a day until they slide off. (I think they will actually remove them for you, but I've never had to use that service.). Much less (if any) damage than the super expensive, individual lashes. (Not to mention- I am a nightmare of a lash client. My eyes always water, and I have a hard time sitting still. Everyone is always so patient with me! I'd have fired myself as a client years ago!) Must also address: I saw some reviews commenting on lack of safety & Covid protocols. I've been a customer for 2 years. I go there at all different days & times, depending on my work schedule. I've never seen anything but very safe & very clean practices. I don't review often- but as I'm planning my next "eyelash experience" this weekend... This salon is my FAVE in Columbus! The ladies are extremely thorough and incredibly talented. The salon is nice and spacious with tvs throughout to entertain you while you are being serviced or waiting. The ladies are always welcoming and make sure that the wait is never too long. The salon offers a variety of services and I have yet to have a bad experience here. A stamp card is offered for services that give you a free service after your sixth visit. Felt really comfortable with the steps they take to keep customers safe. Everyone is wearing a mask and they even do temperature checks. They have removed some of the chair in the entrance of the store but have moved some chairs to the back if someone needs to sit down while they wait. Just came back from my second time, this time using a groupon I got awhile back (which is what drew me to this place in the first place but ended up saving the groupon bc they had a special last time). I'm still a happy customer. This time the other sister is the one who worked on me. She actually remembered me from last time even though she was working on someone else that day. Now I can safely summarize that both ladies there are just fabulous. They are very friendly, professional, and take their time to make sure it's good. And I had no problem using the groupon. The service is the same with or without it. I'm also impressed that this place still looks as clean and neat as it did when I came over two months ago. For those who are not familiar with threading and have bangs like I do-- bring a head band or clip because you will need your hands to hold your eyelid. To start off, I never used yelp before. However I felt a need to make an account to write this review for how disappointing my experience was at Elegant Eyebrow Threading. I decided to go here for the first to get my brows cleaned up. It was truly a horrible experience. The lady who was doing my eyebrows thinned them out excessively. On my left eyebrow, she chopped off my arch, so badly that my brow looks partly disconnected from the tail, I would need to fill in what she cut off. To add on, she cut the top of my left brow unevenly. As for the right eyebrow, it was threaded better, however cut way too thin. She took more time than I thought it should have taken, which makes me want to imply that she has little to no experience threading eyebrows. I was very upset by the appearance of my eyebrows, knowing that it will take some time for my brows to grow back to their full shape to recover them. Overall, I certainly did not feel that the service was worth paying $13 for how poorly my brows were threaded, I will never be coming back. read more

I love this place! I found it by accident...my eyebrows looked really bad one day so I started searching for a place nearby to have my eyebrows waxed. I headed there and decided to have my eyebrows threaded. The ladies there were really nice and I fell in love with the place. I loved it so much that I have kept coming. My lashes started to fall out couple days later. I waited 24 hrs to even splash water on my face. Did everything right! I was extra careful actually. Supposed to last 2 weeks is a joke!! I called them told them what's happening and she said she'll fix but they'll have to charge me. That's just not right. Spent over $50 for them to fall right out didn't even get to enjoy them. Went here because waxing gets SO expensive. I had never had my eyebrows threaded so i thought I would give it a try! You don't have to make an appt and i only had to wait about 10 minutes on a monday night and there were about 4 people ahead of me. It was fast and they looked great! I had them tinted too which i feel they went a little dark on even though i said i did not want them dark - my hair is gray so i think they look better a LITTLE on the lighter side. I have been coming here for over a year and have almost always had a good experience. Yesterday I went in and requested a brow clean up and the "technician" completely butchered my eyebrows. She way over-trimmed them with scissors to the point that an entire chunk was missing in the middle of my brow. She also over-threaded the ends of my brows so that there are only 2-3 hairs left. I went back later that day to talk to someone about it and the chick tried to pretend that she wasn't the one who did it! And then she straight up lied and said "well, I told you that your brows were already thin." So which is it? You didn't do my brows or are you going to pretend that you said something that you didn't? Here's how you should NOT handle an unhappy/distressed customer who has taken the time to drive 20 minutes each way just to express her unhappiness: Do not ask her to show you pictures of how her eyebrows used to look on her phone and then TELL HER THAT HER EYEBROWS WERE ALREADY THIN BEFORE. Just apologize, offer a refund, and perhaps some sort of training or corrective action for the offending technician. Also, I had to stop at sephora and buy my first ever eyebrow pencil that I now have to figure out how to use. Beware... read more

For the longest time I would walk by threading places thinking "I should try that" but I was way too lazy to give up waxing and try something new. Eventually though, my sister dragged me in to a threading salon in Raleigh, and once I'd given it a shot I could never go back. Thankfully, around that time Elegant Eyebrow Threading popped up near my house, and oh my gosh-- it's so great! Even better than the first one I'd tried in North Carolina. They almost always have a special going, to get your eyebrows and upper lip done in a combo, and it is well worth the money. The process is quick, less painful than waxing (in my opinion, though I never thought waxing was all that bad) and the freshly threaded areas don't get as red as they used to with the hot wax. Plus, the place is spotlessly clean and the two women I've met who work in there are incredibly nice. If you're one of those people who worries about being judged for being overweight, or needing a waxing, or for being too old or too young, this is definitely the place for you. You get the vibe immediately that it's a judgement free zone, and they're just there to make you look the best you can! Durga is the one who I've had the most and she does a great job! I've never had more than a 5 to 10 minute wait when I've dropped by, and most of the time it's less than 5. So basically, if you're on the fence about threading, you should definitely give it a shot! I found the place through groupon. It's very clean. The place is busy on Saturday mornings. There was no wait when I went in on a Tuesday. The ladies are very nice. I always get compliments on my eyebrows. I've always had my eyebrows threaded. They are quick and painless. I usually pluck inbetween my eyebrows, but the first time I went to Elegant eyebrows, they recommended not to. I never knew plucking causes ingrown eyebrows. The price is moderate to me. I'm used to $3-$5 for threading in Washington state for little shops. At the malls the price ranges from $13 and up. It's not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. Really happy with how my brows came out. I would highly recommend this place and would totally come back when I am in the area. I live and California, but was visiting my parents, so I have only been here once. I came here on a groupon and was extremely pleased with the results. I thought the shape came out beautifully, although I was not really asked what I wanted. Location was clean. The lady here (I forget her name sadly) is extremely friendly and sweet. A comment on threading vs waxing. I personally find threading to be less painful/damaging on the skin. I also find that the shape can be a bit more exact when they thread and the results can be cleaner. Incredibly underwhelmed by this place. I used to come here years ago and I wound up going to Exquisite Eyebrows down the road at Easton. Well, this place is now closer to my new residence and I was running short on time so I stopped back in. The one woman barely uttered a hello to me, and when she did my eyebrows she was so rough and it was painful! The thread broke two or three times! I've never had this issue at Exquisite. On top of that she didn't trim my eyebrows nearly enough. I didn't notice until I got to the car and saw they were still so unruly! I'm actually on my way to Exquisite to pay to have them fix my eyebrows. I don't have the desire to go back and ask them to fix my eyebrows because if you do it wrong, I don't trust you to do it right the second time. I won't be back, I'd rather pay another 12 dollars to have them fixed. read more

This was my first experience eyebrow threading. I was very pleased with the results! I was nervous my eyebrows would end up being thing and asymmetrical, but they ended up looking so natural! Threading is a little painful. It's a weird sensation really. However, it was all over within 3 minutes. It's very very quiet when you walk in too. Not that this is relevant, but it just caught me off guard. They have a "rewards" program where every x number of thread is free! Overall, very pleased with the results.
