I've been coming here frequently for the past 2 years and they never disappoint. I get the Chicken Pesto Brioche literally every time I come and I can't get enough of it. Coffee is also great. I really enjoyed this coffee shop! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by both of the baristas; they were super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a coffee shop feel more cozy! I had a delicious chai latte with almond milk...so good and definitely gave me that Fall taste I was looking for. There's not much indoor seating but I snagged a booth seat in the back of the shop and it was comfy and had an outlet, which is all I needed. There was more seating outside in a cute little courtyard-like nook that I'd completley take advantage on a nice day. The only thing is that there isn't much non-paid parking in the area; not the hugest deal but personally, I wouldn't be able to patronize the shop multiple days a week because I can spend 5hrs at a time in a coffee shop! I actually got a non-metered spot on the ONE street I found nearby with no meter but I can imagine on most days, you should expect to pay to park. My favorite drink to get here is the hot dirty chai latte. It is 100x better than Starbucks and delicious. The coffee is never burnt and I love that they make all of their food items in house and it is not prepackaged and shipped to stores like Starbucks. Came by Minuti Coffee with my girlfriend who suggested it and conveniently lives very close by. The atmosphere is nice and calming. They have a cute seating area outside facing Gray st. I ordered the drip (house) coffee, pistachio muffin, and vanilla chai latte. The drip coffee was super watered down. I only drink my coffee black and it tasted like I was drinking hot water with a little flavor. I was told it was a medium/dark roast, though the taste did not reflect that. The pistachio muffin was warmed up too long and ended up being dry and hard. The muffin was good, I would just suggest a shorter warming time. My friend had the chai and she enjoyed it, but how can you not enjoy sugar and milk in a cup? I kindly went inside and asked to switch my coffee as I took two sips and couldn't continue. The girl gave me a blank stare and I continued to tell her I will pay the difference for any drink, I just want something I will enjoy. She did not have the most welcoming attitude when I reordered but I ended up with a almond milk latte. Wasn't great, but was better than the house coffee. My suggestion is, if you're going to pay $5 for a mediocre latte, go to Starbucks instead.. they'll happily redo your drink until you're satisfied with a smile on their face. They clearly respect the product they serve--good sign. I was advised the croissants were fresh from the oven, I ordered one. I was educated on the distinction of their hot chocolate vs the industry norm. They grind/shave their chocolate fresh, not use a liquid syrup. I selected the dark chocolate with whipped cream. I took myself onto the roomy front patio to observe the progress of Hurricane Harvey. The comfort of the hot, creamy chocolate soothed the anxieties of the day. However, there were a lot of customers and only two employees. That being said, the coffee is great and there is ample seating outside. They have a great coffee and tea selection as well as beer, wine, sodas, etc. I have seen other reviews complaining about price, but coffee is generally expensive (unless you drink a black cup of coffee), and their coffee tastes better than Starbucks. read more

Best new addition for coffee in Midtown! The quality of the coffee is the real reason for coming here. The coffee is roasted in Modena and although this is a chain the coffee tastes equal to what you find in many independent shops. The staff at the Midtown location is super friendly and they do a great job in brewing some fantastic coffee! Shoutout to Martin the manager who goes out of his way to get to know his customers! I would give them 5 stars but I'm not crazy about the food. But I try to eat very healthy and the options for that are just not that many here - but I think that's typical of most coffee places. They're dog friendly here which I always like. They always have a bowl of water on the patio for the pups. And the patio seating is awesome! A lot of seating that's kept separate the sidewalk by a low wall, and there's a raised area with a soda and chairs - it's like an outdoor living room. And there's plenty of shade to protect you from the weather. It's clean, bright and well lit inside. Free wifi which is a bonus - just ask for the password and you're good to go!
