My best friend was getting married and as MOH it was my duty to organize her bridal shower. Problem is, she lives in a different state so I was doing all the planning and coordinating states away! She was inviting 80 people(yes, 80) so I didn't really want to purchase invites online at like 2$+ a pop. I had someone on Etsy create a super cute digital invite for me & then I was off to look for a printing company that wasn't going to charge me outrageously. Thanks to you yelpers- seriously, I use this site for everything, because let's be honest.. yelpers don't lie! After reading the numerous awesome reviews, I headed over on my lunch break with the file on a USB and walked out about 20 minutes later with a price quote of 56$(that was for 100 color invites cut to 5x7 and 100 matching envelopes to boot!) SCORE! They called me about 3 days later to let me know I could pick them up. when I arrived, I noticed the color of the invites was way off and so I compared it to the proof they printed me a few days prior. They too noticed it and explained that someone probably just ran them through the wrong printer. They offered to re-do them for me, no charge of course, and they would be ready the next day! Talk about great service. I was pleased with their (finished) work, and will definitely be back. I wish they were open on Saturdays(even if only for a few hours). For someone who works Mon-Fri 8 to 5 its hard to get over there during the week! read more

I have been consistently impressed with the level of service and quality of product at Minuteman press on Guadalupe. David is personable, informative and willing to go the extra mile. He has printed biz cards, fliers brochures and handouts for me, and they all exceeded my expectations for the quality (not to mention the price - way cheaper than Kinko's, I mean FedEx Office (the change has not increased their staff's intelligence)). The attention to detail at Minuteman is impeccable also - David found a mistake on a card and let me know before he ran it so I could fix it. I would recommend this shop to anyone. The shop is closed on Saturday which can be inconvenient, but they do mainly BSB work so it is understandable. My only real complaint is getting out of the parking lot, but I found back into a spot its much easier to get onto Guadalupe. Keep up the good work! read more

After 4 years I am finally done with MinuteMan in downtown Austin. This business has some real customer service issues. Rarely do I have an experience with this printer that runs smoothly. Lack of communication, lack of taking responsibility when there is an issue, lack of professionalism, you name it. I have worked with Dave, who is a wonderful guy, but he always has an excuse and tends to use the owner or the "system" as the reason for the problem. Too many other printers in town to put up with this level of service, especially when I have given them chance and chance again. read more

Looked around for a local rush-order for several thousand flyers. Arthur at Minuteman was very cordial and helpful over the phone, and we will be sending him some digital proofs to get a quote. I'll update this review once we get final product, but compared to a few other places I'd already called, Minuteman seems to have their act together, Arthur was very knowledgeable and willing to accomodate, and I think that alone merits a first-time mention on Yelp. read more

Turnaround time was so-so for my very simple job, they were uncommunicative (I had to call to find out status several times), and the end product wasn't quite what I asked for (not horribly wrong, but off enough that I had to do some re-work on it myself to get it right). I've used them twice now and they've gotten it perfect every time. My last trip there, I accidentally ordered in mm versus cm and they were happy to reprint although it was Friday and near closing time. Sometimes they lack the friendly smile or "Hi there, how can I help you" attitude when you walk in, but they aren't rude or dismissive. For the quality of the work, I don't mind this. I have ordered from here several times. They are fast and their prices are reasonable. BUT if you are looking for a place that uses their brain. Go somewhere else. They do their own design work here, but are in a hurry so be prepared for several revisions and an attitude if you want more. I ordered post cards this past week and asked for a line down the middle on the back (like most post cards duh!) and I got a horizontal line. Wow. That was not smart. They said they sent me a proof, but I did not see it and who needs to proof one line that the entire population of the USofA knows. Long story short, expect good prices, but brainless service and watch everything they do. If not, you will be forced by bickering collage kids to pay full price for something you can't use. I started using Minuteman Press back in November 2011 at the old company I worked for. I had a pretty anal boss who wanted everything to be perfect, and Minuteman Press always delivered. They are not only prompt and efficient with orders; their staff's customer service skills are off the charts. Everyone is always so polite and helpful when I visit or call. The Minuteman Press on 6th Street did an AMAZING JOB with my order. I ordered 100 brochures, then added 25 more, and they still had the order ready 2 days early. A day after picking them up, I realized that I needed to make a change to one of the pages and needed the reprint done that same day & they not only reprinted the updated brochures in one day, they only charged for labor and the rush fee. I had a wonderful experience with this shop. I wanted to print out a photograph to frame so I looked up printing shops in Austin and found this one. I drove over without checking the hours of operation. It turns out that I arrived on a day it was closed, but the owner happened to be standing outside and opened up shop just to help me out (on his day off!). My project ended up taking nearly 45 minutes, but he kindly and patiently sorted through all the paper, sizing, and color options with me until I found a few that I liked. Then he gave me everything we printed out to take home and choose among at my leisure, and charged me a nominal price (something like $5). I was so impressed. In the end I got exactly what I needed, and it was a very pleasant experience to work with him. Good work and good company. Highly recommended. read more

I'm always down to the wire with my print jobs, but they respond quickly, resend invoices and proofs, or willing to change my order amount. I was very pleased with the quality service I received at Minuteman. My son needed printing done for his Eagle scout project. It was very important that the job be completed accurately, quickly, and at a price he could afford. The printing job involved detailed graphics that needed to be reproduced perfectly so that his Eagle presentation would look very professional. Minuteman did a great job despite being understaffed that day. I appreciated that they gave me several suggestions that improved the appearance of his project. My son's presentation was very successful and well received due in part to a great printing job. I will definitely use Minuteman for all my future printing needs. read more

Before I tell the story let me just say,DAVID WAS AMAZING. If David isn't the mananger/owner of this location then they need to make that happen. He was polite and professional the whole time, often staying late to ensure the job got and this morning he even walked the merchandise out to my car because my hands were full. Amazing service, great pricing, epic turn around time. David literally saved the day. I needed 3 stand up banners with customer artwork and 300 trifolds printed by today (10/26/2015). I originally called the Georgetown location of Minuteman and was told that for all this printing there is typically a 3 day turn around time. Great! I took a week and made the banners and the trifold, put all the files together and called the Georgetown location again to give them some money. They laughed (actually laughed) and said no, there was a 14 day turn around time and that no one there would have told me 3 days. I asked about expediting the job and they told me that I could do all my own design work and they could get it down to 10 days. This is 4 days before I have a flight to the conference at which I will display the banners and trifolds. I kindly informed them that they wouldn't be getting out business and I'd call around. The woman on the phone was nice and said she'd talk to her team about speeding it further. Meanwhile, I called this location on W 6th. They told me they could have it done in 2 days, no extra fees and no need to rush. I verified this with them probably 30 times and they were confident that they could get it done in time and they did. As of this morning I have 300 beautiful trifolds and 3 epic 7 foot banners displaying company name and information in some slick graphics and customer pictures. P.S. The Georgetown emailed me two days after saying they would check on speeding things up and told me that my time frame was impossible and they couldn't do it. They told me this on Friday for a job I had told them multiple times I needed on the following Monday. The austin location was already a day into production and had sent me two versions of proofs for my sign off. read more

Typically, this involves something I am not capable of producing. All I have to do is to pick up the phone and call Tom and he gets it done in a flash!
