Minuteman on 6th is the absolute best. I usually talk to Taylor, and she is always super helpful. I got my wedding invitations, save the dates, and signage printed here, as well as addresses on envelopes. Everything came out perfectly! They're also super fast - I never waited more than a few days for my prints, and NEVER longer than the time they quoted me. KC and her team made me look like a Rockstar to my boss. This was an epic business card emergency in his world. We placed an order for cards with our firm's usual vendor back in January. We finally got them in a few days ago (in March) and they weren't updated as we had requested. He has a business development function in a few days and no business cards. I can't say enough about the Minuteman Press in Cedar Park! Today was my dad's funeral and the Programs we ordered came in 2"x3". You could'nt even read the print. We were desperate to have new ones printed and waited at the door for Minuteman Press in Cedar Park to open. We were received with a smile and told no problem, they could print them today! I needed business cards for an event... with a 1-day turnaround. I figured I was SOL, but someone recommended Minuteman Press to me and the good reviews here on Yelp convinced me. It was really easy to upload my order via the web at 9pm, and received automated emails telling me that it was in their system and on its way. By 4:30pm the next day, they were ready. Saved my hide. And while I was willing to accept mediocre quality for the quick service (really, I just needed *something* to hand out), I was really impressed with the quality! Reading the reviews and recommendations, I wish I had a better experience to share. -- When my cards were ready, no one called me - I had to check in after a week+ and they only had a partial order ready. (No apologies or concessions were made for the partial order.) -- The quality of the print was incredibly low - blurry and looks cheap. If color or font size was an issue, they should have advised. -- I voiced my concern about the quality and there was zero attempt to apologize, explain or make it right. -- I still haven't received the remainder of my order. No one has called and for all I know they cancelled it or they are sitting on a shelf somewhere. They are garbage anyway so it is just money wasted. I wanted to go local instead of printing online and thought it would be a better experience and better quality. I was really wrong and very disappointed with my experience. read more

We needed to send a document to our son's college, and they preferred it to be faxed. My first thought was who even has a fax machine anymore? We consulted Yelp and found this business, only a couple of blocks from where we were. Thanks Yelp! The guy who waited on us was great. We told him that we needed a document faxed and he smiled and said no problem. The cost was a whopping $1. Pretty cool. He tried several times to fax the document, but the connection couldn't be established. He apologized and after the umpteenth attempt another employee apologized. He then offered to scan it and email it to us. So we called the school and got the OK and that's how we sent it. Extremely nice people and great customer service. What a lifesaver! I have been searching around for a place to simply print my uncomplicated wedding invitations that is not going to charge my the cost me a ka-jillion dollars, and I've found it! Most of the places I've looked at (mainstream Kinko's, etc.) are quoting me no less than $130 for 75 5X7's. Minuteman's price? $40!!! And less than that to do my rehearsal dinner invites as well. David, who works there, was really friendly and accommodating to my walk-in self, and ready for all my questions right away. This morning I stopped into Minuteman Press, desperately needing to get a brochure fixed or reprinted after FedEx Office bound the document on the wrong side. This project was super time-sensitive and I had only about an hour before I was to present this to clients. THANKFULLY, TJ was extremely helpful and stepped right in to figure out a solution. Despite this being so last-minute, 15 minutes later I walked out of the store with the brochure fixed, which looked absolutely fabulous. Yeesh... while we are excited to relocate our business to Austin (90% of which requires print products) I am not thrilled about the inconsistency re: customer service with Minuteman. These guys come up short. We are printing posters for a client, an artist that has worked on Game of Thrones, etc. I wanted to proof the artwork before printing, to maintain continuity of course. No problem there, although the guy argued with me that I should go glossy over matte. Not a practical suggestion, argumentative. I wanted matte... he printed the order on glossy anyway. It's a small detail but the pompous arrogance and lackluster demeanor was a bit much. I've worked as a Graphic Designer for many years... I know what I WANT and needed to see a proof, first. On the material I asked for, I wanted to SEE the color saturation on THAT material by THAT machine, but Mr. Fast Fingers thought he got one over on me. I had uploaded the files a day prior and never heard back. I went up there, that's when he opened the email and reviewed the files. I was actually reprimanded for sending "...too many files, I mean, one would have done it." Indignant much. I sent the .PDF, and .AI files because I was concerned about a resolution issue and provided the additional files... I figured brainiac could make necessary adjustments on the fly. My bad. I was satisfied with the overall quality and the Street Corner prices. I decided to give them another shot and made a flyer for a promotion and sent it to them... not realizing they're closed on the weekends. That's fine... waited to hear back this afternoon, no reply. Called to micromanage, was nice but they decided to add a "rush fee" which is $20-- nearly 70% of the ACTUAL job's printing quote. I won't be back... with the mass printing, deadlines and quality we need in the future, this mediocrity won't cut it. Y'know, my gut told me not to go with the franchise guy, and I needed these on the fly... realize it's a small order but definitely testing the waters for larger print jobs. And while they offer rock bottom pricing, I'll happily pay more to see a smiling face, support local and our clients will appreciate that too. read more

When my boss gave me 1000 coupons to hand write a expiration date and disclaimer on, I knew that was not going to be fun & efficient so I started calling different printing shops downtown and was turned off by the rudeness of employees. Why was nobody willing to help me? Well, that's where Minuteman came in and saved the day. I spoke with Kerry who told me to go in and they would be able to help me. I drove down 6th street and would have missed the entrance if it wasn't for the large sign that says 'Minuteman Press Printing' (right before WINFLO). She was really helpful and told me that they could print & stick the labels onto the 1,000 coupons. But wait, they didn't have the coupon size I needed so I had to buy them myself? Okay, I could do that. I stopped at the OfficeMax down the street, picked up labels & went to drop them off at Minuteman. Oh, now they tell me that you cannot print on this certain kind of label & the printers only use laser compatible labels? Well, that would have been helpful the first time around. I went back & exchanged the labels then dropped off the correct ones. PHEW. Once they had the right kind of labels, box of coupons and told they would be done in 2 days I was happy. She emailed me a proof of what the label would look like and after a few back & forth emails, they got started. They were ready when I needed them, looked great, only cost $104 for the printing + application (plus $20 for the labels I bought myself) and Kerry was very nice and professional. I'd use Minuteman again, as long as I had all the details of what was going on before going on a wild label chase! read more

I can't speak to this business outside of my experience. To that end, this is an FYI review for potential customers with similar needs to mine. IF YOU ARE: a student that needs to print out course material for an online class or something. Be warned, they are very rigid about copyright law here. First, they wouldn't quote without seeing the files. After sending files, then they said that since it had a copyright line on the material that they could not print it, without expressed permission from the school. Which isn't entirely accurate. There are specific sections of the copyright code that allow for students, scholars, and educators to print single copies for personal use. This didn't sway them, however, which I understand. Policy is policy. But hopefully, a person in a position to change that policy will get wind of this exclusion in copyright law, and make necessary adjustments. Their policy makes getting a quote needlessly complex, and in the end is costing them business. We had a terrible experience using this business. We had two mailer pieces printed and shipped from their bulk mailer account. One of the pieces was not shipped out. They said it was delivered to the post office however the post office never delivered the piece. I understand Minuteman press is not the post office however it's their bulk mailer account that's being used and we pay them directly for the service therefore they need to be one's to reimburse us for the lost costs. If the post office will not reimburse them for the lack of delivery, that is also not our responsibility since they're as a full service printing company. Not only did they not provide any form of compensation for this poor work, but I also had to call three times over the course of a month to follow-up on the resolution--which there was none. I never once got an update from their manager Kerry. Instead I had to keep calling to find out if they were going to do anything about it. Very disappointing!! Save your money and use Vistaprint. Their customer service at least would've provided us a better and more timely resolution. read more

It was 3 months away from my niece's wedding and sure enough, she has a million things to be done to ensure her wedding was the dream wedding she wanted and invitations hadnt even be done! Her fiancee had bought a really cute DIY invitation kit but neither them or I had the skills or knowledge how to deign the darn things and we kept wasting them when we tried to print. We contacted minuteman press and within 48 hours, they had redesigned our horrible attempt and created a much more beautiful and better design than we ever could. The price was way better than i expected and without any more stress added, we had all 200 invites printed & ready to be sent. Printed wedding invitations here. We furnished our own (thick) paper and our own design and Minuteman did the printing. We were very happy with the customer service and quality of printing (especially for the price). Our invitations took 2-3 days to complete. There was a small error on a batch of "Thank You" cards we also ordered at the same time (a line on our design was, unbeknownst to us, outside of the print area) and they readily offered to redo the printing or refund the cost of the unsatisfactory cards. Overall, we were quite happy with the way this was handled. read more

There's that old adage that out of fast, cheap and good, you can only have two. Somehow, Minuteman manages to nail all three. Their prices range from good to insanely low, turnaround is quick and the quality is consistently excellent. Several people have complimented me on the UV-coated business cards they made for me, and I've also been impressed with the fliers and newsletters I've ordered. They partner with Motorblade, which means that it's effortless to get fliers printed and posted all over town. In fact, it's cheaper to do the Motorblade-Minuteman combo than it is to photocopy fliers at another print shop and post them yourself. They remind me of why I go out of my way to support local businesses. The one time I did have a problem with my order, they were honest and apologetic and fixed the issue immediately. This is so different from bad experiences I've had with mega-big-box chains and online printers that I was almost left speechless. These guys are so nice that they even printed extra copies of my dog training newsletter to give to their own vet. I'm rarely as happy with any company as I have been with Minuteman Press Printing. You'd be crazy to use an online printer when we have such a great resource in our own city. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience at Minuteman. I trusted them to copy and bind a few copies of an extremely important school document. I asked repeatedly if it would be ready by a certain time so that I could submit it by the deadline. I was promised that it would be. Dave started the job late, did not complete it by the deadline, then acted like it was my fault for not having it there sooner. Additionally, there were formatting issues with the final copies, and the binding appeared a bit shoddy on most of the books. The bottom line is that he committed to doing a job he couldn't do, and I would not advise using this company if you want your project completed correctly and on time. read more

Phoned up Minuteman and spoke to Kerry who was very helpful. Emailed my designs, worked through the scaling, and they could get them done next day. Got a phone call late afternoon to say that they were done and I could pick up that day. Went round, quality was great, price was better than anywhere else I'd looked at. When I first called Minuteman about getting a job done, I was told I would get an estimate at the end of the day. When I called two days later, the man I spoke to told me he forgot to send the estimate. Eventually, because I was now pressed for time to get this done, I sent him my files and proceeded without an estimate. He told me that he would send me proofs, again, by the end of the day. Surprise - he didn't send me proofs. I called the next day, and just told him to go ahead and do the job. He said it would be ready a few days later. When I showed up on the day near close, they had half of the job done for me, so I had to wait in the office while they ran the second half of the job which they had forgotten about. Finally, when I got the print job home, I noticed several of my table tents had strange characters (commas, different letters) in place of letters that were originally accented. (On one of my table tents, the name José became Jos,). While this could've been my fault, I checked back at the original files to make sure there were no errors. Perhaps the accents got screwed up when I sent the files to Minuteman, but I don't know. Either way, I would've appreciated it if they had checked them for errors, or at least remembered to send me proofs. All in all, although the price was reasonable and most of the job was completed well, the customer service was really lacking. They forgot to send me an estimate, proofs, and forgot half of my print job until I reminded them about it while I was picking it up. Just getting the job done with them required me to constantly call and remind them to do things, which was definitely a one-off & frustrating experience. read more

I loved them at first, but their attention to detail just disappeared over the years. Constantly messing up easy orders. Employees and owner of the company lack common sense customer service skills and are horrible to deal with. Our company's orders were never done right, they would constantly confuse many details.
