I hate to do this but I just want someone to know the truth before doing business. I went in with a two week timeframe to get an alteration and cleaning . The dress had a stale odor from shopping warehouse and needed more room in the lower half and tightened at the top. The top was never tightened only the bottom half. Quote based off conversation was 40 for alteration and 23 for cleaning. When I went to pick it up my ticket was $114. I'm not confrontational and I needed that dress for a wedding so what was I going to do? I'm not pleased with the work as I was pressed for time and had to go with what I had and just hold the dress up. read more

Alpine Cleaners is where I have my clothing dry cleaned. I tried numerous other businesses in the area but after several misses I found this place. The business is located very near the Corner Bakery and next to the Carmine's Pizza. I've been very happy with the service I've received here. My clothes have always come back clean and pressed to my liking, and I've never had anything go missing. They are able to do cleaning same-day and while I don't often need that quick of a turnaround, it's really nice to have the flexibility when I do. The woman who runs the place is very friendly and always has a smile to greet me, which is such a bright spot in my day I often look forward to seeing her! They accept all major credit cards and I feel their pricing is very reasonable. Parking is right out front: you can't get any closer! I would definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a cleaner in the area. read more

The communication is poor and customer service is terrible. This is what happens if you are trying to cut down costs. I handed a backpack to get a cleaning quote, and it took them 4 days to respond. This is not the worst yet. Their price is not competitive so I told them to hold it and I will get it back and they said ok. 1 day after, when I get there, only to be told that bag is in another location! And I need to come again get back the next day! Can't you tell people this over the phone??? Doesn't mileage and gas cost anything these days? Oh by the way, don't try their alteration service, because according to their front desk, the alteration "lady" is always NOT there. read more

I have taken our comforter here one other time and it was laundered fine. The second time, I picked it up and in every little section the stuffing was balled in the corner, effectively ruining the duvet insert. I called and the man I spoke with claimed he was the owner and would refund the cost of cleaning if we stopped by to get the cash. When my husband went by a few days later, the lady working basically said "That just happens to blankets. The person you spoke with doesn't know, because he's a man." and my husband left without the refund we were promised. Will not use again. Ruined our $300 duvet insert and then refused to honor the agreement discussed on the phone. read more

Be careful taking anything of value here to be cleaned. On 2/18/20 I picked up my dry cleaning. Two items were missing from my order, a skirt and top. I mentioned this to the young man at the counter and he didn't seem too interested in my problem. He said the owner would call me. I've never heard from anyone about my lost clothes. Ugh. Never again! My alterations were simple; the service was sub par. Don't make the same mistake I did. I bought five amazing dresses that needed to be altered to Alpine Cleaners. I was greeted by Choon, who is exceptionally nice but I had a hard time understanding her. These five dresses needed the straps taken up (I'm short) and the hems shortened (again, I am short). There was nothing exceptional about my requests but nonetheless, when my items were returned to me, I should have tried on each item, but didn't. I'm out $100! I tried on my dresses at home that evening and was upset to find NONE of the alterations I requested were completed to my specifications and all the zippers of each dress were broken. I went back to get them fixed. Choon swore they would be fixed and apologized profusely. She did offer to fix the zipper on one dress....Again, when I returned with my items they were not fixed, even the 'free' fix of my zipper proved even worse. These things should not happen to a girl's favorite new dresses. Cry. So disappointed, none of my dresses are fixed properly, and I'm out almost $100. read more

OK...I'll admit I'm a skeptic when it comes to places that clean and press my clothes. At one time or another they all seem to piss me off. How many times have you had clothes missing, but were unable to pin the blame on the laundromat because you didn't keep count when you dropped off your dirties. I even had one place give my clothes to someone else by accident, and then tell me I must have been mistaken when I inquired about missing duds. But my family has been using this place for a year now and so far so good. The lady that runs the place is polite and courteous and my clothes come home clean. This place gets an extra star for actually counting your items of clothing and giving you an itemized receipt detailing the number of items left for cleaning - that way you can always count the items when you pick up to make sure you are bringing everything home that you dropped off. This is the first place I have experienced that did this without expecting my laundry to cost me a lot more than it already does. read more
