I was in Nashua for two nights attending the 2017 witch city open steel tip dart tournament. Saturday night we called in a delivery to the courtyard Marriott. It was very quick , like 32 minutes. We ordered an order of egg rolls beef with pea pods and a chicken fried rice, let me start off saying I wasn't expecting all the food to be as good as it was. The person taking to order to go, wasn't friendly at all. The chairs from Grand buffet were all dirty, the door and light switch were filthy. Wonder how clean the kitchen is? Anyway brought home a pupu platter, the boneless spare ribs "slivers" were so small couldn't belive the size. They were dried out and burnt, absolutely terrible. The fried shrimp were tiny. I'm heartbroken! We had discovered this place earlier this year and were just happy to find food that was relatively inexpensive and arrived quickly. It's not amazing, but it's essentially just fried chicken fingers and rice- hard to mess up as long as you don't give people food poisoning. Last night we placed an order for delivery (we live 5 minutes away and had guests over) and were told 45 minutes for delivery. Usually they are really quick and even on a 30 minute delivery time arrive ahead of schedule. So, when our food didn't show up on time we waited another 15 minutes and then called to check on the status. We were told they were very, very busy and that they would call the driver. We waited another 20 minutes and called back and could hear the conversation in the background. "It's [our address] calling again... What is the address?" We confirmed the address and then called them out on it that they knew it was us calling. We were getting switched between a man and a woman on the phone. He again said they were very busy and would call the driver. After another 30 minutes we called back and canceled the order- we had people over and had waited nearly 2 hours for our delivery! Even if they HAD sent out our order with the driver and hour and a half ago, it would probably be cold by the time it arrived. Even if they HAD forgotten our order and had to make it they could have just told us- we live so close they could have cooked whatever they needed to again and sent it out for delivery in a normal amount of time. If the driver was having trouble, we COULD have gone to go pick it up. When we called to cancel the order the woman just screamed at my husband that they were very, very busy- didn't apologize or confirm that they would cancel it. We get it, maybe t heir driver went AWOL, maybe his car broke down on a rural street in Nashua and he had no way to call for help and was stranded and was huddled around our food order for warmth, but more than likely they just forgot our order. Since we had guests over we left a note on the door and took them to another restaurant (apologizing that they had to wait over 2 hours for food). When we came home the the note was gone so I'm guessing the driver showed up? Anyways, my husbad was mad they hung up on him and didn't apologize, and I'm just mourning the loss of my cheap Chinese food joint. :( read more

MINT CAFE HAS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER! I moved to Massachusetts 5 years ago & every time I go back to Nashua to visit I go to Mint Cafe for an appetizer box. No Chinese restaurant in Massachusetts or Rhode Island can compare to Mint Cafe. I know the owners personally and they are the sweetest people you will ever meet. They treat you like family. Their food is always delicious and fresh. It doesn't matter what time of day you go the food is made to order. My favorite is the chicken fingers and pork fried rice. My coworkers and myself had a terrible experience with Mint Cafe. I ordered lunch for one of my coworker's birthday and one of the dishes was sweet and sour pork. The dish that arrived was sweet and sour chicken. I called and spoke to a Peter regarding the mix up. Peter continuously told me the dish was pork not chicken and I kept replying that it's not pork it's chicken. I finally told Peter that I am coming down to show him the chicken they sent me. I arrived at Mint Cafe and Peter automatically starting yelling at me that the dish was pork not chicken. Peter then took the piece I brought with me and cut it up and shoved it in my face yelling this is pork, this is pork. I then said sir i as well as my coworkers tasted it and it is chicken. Peter continued to yell at me as I asked for my money back for the dish as it was not what I ordered. Peter then stated he does not give out free money. I then replied that this is not what I ordered and I would please like a refund or the pork I ordered. Peter then went back into his kitchen and brought out frozen food to show me that this was pork which was actually chicken. The chicken he brought out looked absolutely disgusting. Peter then went on to tell me that the customer is NOT always right. I honestly can't believe how terribly I was treated. I work for a company down the street from them and they just lost every employee as customers. My experience was unbelievably horrendous. The food is really quite good, and always fresh. I definitely recommend delivery, though, because parking is a disaster. If you're going to eat in or pick up, I definitely advise going earlier or later than the rush hours. I'm a big fan of the fried rice and the egg rolls, which are as big as a toddler's arm. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!! if i could give a half star i would this place is horrible the food was cold, the delivery driver called me yelling cause he was lost, he didnt deliver the whole order when i called the location two females screamed at each other in Chinese while i was on the phone talking to one of them , then a man got on and told me to get a refund for what wasn't delivered he had to drive back to my office and pick up the food that was delivered. but then told me he had no driver available. this place is very unprofessional and rude i will never order from there again just from the simple lack of care for their cust, and might i add i didn't get the rest of my order or the refund for the items they didn't deliver. I've been ordering from this place for a while now. I order the same every time for me and my kids( pupu platter for 2 no SHRIMP and a lrg pork fried rice). The kids and I are allergic to shell fish/seafood. Always love the food and never had a problem with them until today! So I ordered my regular like always and get it delivered to me( I live off exit 1) so I get the food and it has fried shrimp . I call them and the lady said that I didn't say that and nothing could be done, I ask for the manager and he says at 1st for me to go over there and bring him the food. I said no I paid for delivery u bring it to me he says no put it in the fridge I'll pick it up tomorrow. I said u crazy give me my money back cuz now I have to order somewhere else cuz my kids were hungry. Then he says just take out the shrimp the kids are gonna be fine(food contamination) then I lose my cool on him and flip out. I tell him how dare him say that wen I order from u every fridays he says don't buy food here anymore I don't need ur money and hangs up on me. I have ordered from here a few times and its generally okay, not the best, but for affordable Chinese food its tolerable. My most recent experience however was a bit disturbing. We had called in an order and when I got there to pick it up one of the meals was completely wrong. When I said this to the guy behind the counter, he tried to argue with me about what I ordered. If that wasn't disturbing enough, he then proceeded to offer me a deal. If I took the 3 meals that were ready (at full price) he would fix another meal (the one I wanted) and give it to me for only $5. I was shocked that he would actually think that I would agree to that. I ended up just taking what was ready paying $5 for the screwed up meal. I will think twice before returning to this establishment, as I think he should've comped the wrong meal. I don't mind paying for my food, but when it was their mistake and I agree to take their mistake they should offer more than $3 off. To top off my experience, I came home and figured out that not only did I get ripped off by not receiving what I wanted but I noticed that they round up to the nearest dollar amount after they figure the tax, so each person is paying an addition 30-50 cents more than what they should. Got lunch yesterday..chicken was way overdone..soup was luke warm..and fried rice was very yucky..stiff and think it was about 10 days old. We have gotten a lot of meals there but will never again. Ok, first please know that this is based only on one delivery order. The staff on the phone was very polite and helpful. I ordered a large order of vegetable Lo mein, egg rolls, crab Rangoons, chicken fingers, and a small wonton soup. The price came to just over thirty dollars, including the delivery fee (when I'd added in the tip it was just under $40) I also asked for a side of duck sauce and lots of soy sauce as well as some chopsticks. I was very pleased when we got to opening up the bag. Not only did they include chopsticks, they include three pairs of chopsticks and they were ones that come in a fully sealed package so you KNOW they are clean, they also included several plastic forks. I've had many other places that forgot to include the chopsticks at ALL so this was nice to have a couple extra pairs for the leftovers. The portion sizes were also quite good and they DID give enough soy sauce, which has been nice since. The chicken fingers had plenty of good tender meat in them and were not just an over abundance of the crispy coating like some places. The crab rangoons were decent, they made them in the triangle style and they were more the savory crab and cream cheese and onion type flavor (i've had from some places that were more of a sweeter variety which these were not). The Vedgetable lo mein had LOTS of vegetables and tasted quite good... The wonton soup which i normally get just for the broth was quite good and i even liked the flavoring in the meat in the wontons and i usually am not much of a fan of pork. read more
