I placed a larger to-go order for a family event this evening. I had scheduled it for 4:35 pm. I arrive at 4:40. The front of house staff was great but Connor? I think the manager was far from pleasant. He came out and said he was told the order didn't need to be ready until 5:20. I asked him what the receipt said...which was 4:35. He offered zero customer service to assist with the inconvenience. I will consider before ordering again from here. read more

Always have great service and delicious pizza here. BUT I have con with the Tranquilo pizza. Advertising Panko Crunchy Crust. I thought it would be thin and cracker crust. Not much flop and crunchy crust. It wasn't. It was like there original crust and bread crumbs on bottom. It tasted good but, I wasn't expecting it. They need to change description and remove crunch. Went to visit my brother in Olathe from California, and he was excited to treat me to one of their fave pizza joints. We called it in, and got the pizzas to go. So I only got a brief view of the interior. Nice looking spot in an outdoor shopping center. The pizza was good, though we didn't get to try it fresh, right out the oven. Of the three pizzas, I stuck with the pepperoni. They were small and crisp, and abundant, and very tasty. My brother paid, so I can't comment as to the value, cause I don't know what they costs but the service was nice enough and the pizzas were ready to go when we got there. My family really likes the place, so I'd say Minsky's is a safe bet. read more

There is a reason that Minsky's Pizza is such a big deal in Kansas City, and with so many locations to choose from, you're never far from grabbing a slice. While there are many variations done very well on their menu, the Prime Cut and the White Cheddar Macaroni N Cheese are what truly shines. Pizza here is pricier than your basic national chain pizzas, but that's because you get a MUCH better pizza in terms of taste and quality. Well, tried again this time for lunch, this locale just can't get it together. The wait staff are always nice, but the extreme slowness is unacceptable, over and over again. We were 2 of us at our table, another table of 3 and another table with 2 people - That's It!! We ordered the lunch special: salad, mini Pizza ,drink. Took at least 30-40 min to get salad at least another 30 for the pizza and also had no silverware to eat the salad with, so finally got up and found our own about 10 min after the salad arrived. In all we spent about 2 hours there for lunch, no one has that kind of time! Lunch is supposed to be quick. It never seems to matter what time you come in to this Minskys, it takes forever to get the food. The waitress was new according to her so she didn't know what kind of cookies were available and couldn't answer a few other questions about menu items. We have not been able to visit this location in a while because we moved... We were in the area again, celebrating my daughter's birthday and we decided to go to Minsky's. We had always has such a great time at the restaurant and wonderful food. it was so nice to be back. Where do I start when it comes to praising the staff? They were so amazing and made my daughter's birthday so wonderful and they help take away the stress of trying to get everything organized quickly. I ordered a thin prime cut pizza for take out. When I got there, they had mistakenly given my pizza to some one else. Then, the pizza they gave me was not a thin crust. I took it back but the lying manager insisted it was a thin crust. I used to go there twice a month and I tip 20%. I wonder if they are going to miss my business. read more

Ordered pizza with light sauce and came out with normal sauce. Pizza tasted good other wise but when we received our bill our table was charged $10.74 for ordering 3 waters. Waitress took this off the bill after asking about the charge but will not be returning if you have to pay for tap water. read more

Minsky's in Olathe (right off Ridgeview & K10) is our go-to spot, and for good reason! Their pizza is absolutely top-tier, but if you haven't tried the Philly cheesesteak special on Tuesdays, you're seriously missing out. The food alone is worth the trip, but what really makes this place special is the staff--they're always warm, welcoming, and make every visit feel like you're dining with friends. Minsky's has the best pizza, and our server Malyssa was amazing. This place was not only clean but very kid friendly, never once got a rude look or scoff from any staff for my baby crying. Side note; Minsky's has the best ranch. read more

Good food and despite the line, our wait wasn't too bad! The only thing is we went on a Friday night and the music was so loud (mariachi band) we couldn't talk to our friends across the table! Minsky's quality pizza is always consistent and the ranch is the best. The only thing that is undesirable is the price however with the quality being so high it is understandable why the price is so expensive. I always have a great experience with the food I receive. read more

We ordered two small pizzas and the Cauliflower Breaded Chicken Tenders appetizer. The appetizer was $8.99, and this is what was delivered. Two tiny pieces of chicken and less than 20 fries. The cost vs actuality of the appetizer was extremely disappointing. The pizzas were okay. Good flavor. Sauce was unfortunately very light. We always enjoy Minsky's. However, the 9th was incredibly pleasant as Sara our server was engaged, funny, respectful, light hearted. We loved chatting with her. For us, unfortunately it was her last day there as she was moving back to be with family. We hit the jackpot that night with excellent pizza, it was a non 90's / 80% humidity evening so outside was perfect...and most of all the cherry on top was Sara. This location is consistent with its sister locations in KC. I usually come to this location with my running club which means we have about 12 people on average. The service is always quick and friendly. On a Wednesday evenings they will hold a table for us while we go for a run. As with the other locations I always recommend the buffalo wings. I'm a fan of Minsky's pizza, and this location did disappoint. The weekday lunch special (which includes a salad with bread stick, a fairly large pizza slice, and a drink for $7.49) is a fair deal. My salad was nicely sized, with a fair variety of fresh veggies. The combo pizza slice had that great Minsky's taste, with plenty of cheese and toppings on a flavorful crust. The dining area was spacious, clean, and fairly new, with a full bar, background music, plenty of TVs, and a patio. The service was attentive and fast (salad in two minutes, and pizza ten minutes later), but not especially cheerful. Several daily specials were available. Overall, very nice! read more

Visited our neighborhood Minsky's tonight to order one of our favorites, the Tostado pizza. Menu states the pizza is topped with lettuce, cheddar, red onions, and tomatoes. Pizza arrived without toppings, they were served on the side. I asked the server why the toppings were on the side and she stated it happens sometimes. I let her know we didnt like it that way. When our check arrived we noticed a charge for the toppings, questioned the server she said that is how she has to rang in. I asked for the manager and she stated the same reason so I asked why the menu stated the pizza was topped with those ingredients and doesn't mention an extra charge. She also said she was confused by the extra charge and immediately said she would comp our dinner. We thanked her and then the server came over to let us know the order was comped and said the kitchen messed up. We were very appreciative of our meal being comped but very disappointed with the pizza. If we go again I will ask for the topping to be cooked on the pizza and will carefully check the ticket for extra charges. read more

We always order from Minsky's at work, but I live a little ways from the nearest one. But I had someone from out-of-town, so I took them there. Wait staff excellent, cleanliness excellent, social distancing, etc... spectacular. I included my meal with a dinner salad. I could not eat it all, so I asked for a to-go box, which they provided. I asked if I could have an extra cup (small cup) of salad dressing to-go, and was disappointed that they charged for it. I was REALLY surprised. So, while maybe it should not have, it annoyed me, so as much as I love them, it turned me off, so probably won't be back. read more

I had sworn off this place after living in Perfect Village, KS and experiencing pizza after pizza being undercooked. The crust undercooked and the meat toppings partially cooked and greasy. Wanted something other than the chain pizza and not much out this way. Called in order, got there to pick up in less than 15 mins and pizza and boneless wings were ready. Delicious butcher block with a great crust and top cheese just browned to perfection. Wings were good chicken and a great peppery buffalo sauce. Glad to have a good option out my way. read more

I was gonna go to dominoes for a $7.99 pizza And my roommate said hold up let's try something new something special...we get there no straws, no napkins, messed up my order, no plates, ZERO EFFORT to fix my order because " kitchen was closed" not even a discount man....., then once it was time to pay, we got charged for bone sticks or whatever they call it that we didn't even ask for..
