This is a $16 sandwich...the pic will talk for itself. This is the 3rd time I have gotten sandwiches that look like this (both KS locations). So, basically, I'm just paying $16ish for bread. You get as much meat on the medium, as you do the giant. There is a young lady that works there that has crazy long nails, which is definitely not appetizing. read more

Schlotzsky's - Sandwiches Near Me - Olathe, Kansas

Great short-notice experience w/Schlotzsky's (Bart) in Olathe Kansas to provide advice for variety of foods for kids/grands, (cranky old) Military Veterans, and extended family and friends for day before (as persons arrived from out-of-state) and day of Memorial Service. Super easy and helpful. Dedicated driver was rerouted from interstate and state highway onto country backroads due to unforeseen road construction. A great first experience w/this particular restaurant -- great team -- highly recommend this restaurant. read more

My family had a wonderful experience here! The service was amazing, and the owner was very welcoming! The restaurant was extremely clean, and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back! read more

Don't listen to the nay sayers like Mandy M, Jason G, Tom W... bunch of cry babies (just look at the replies to their messages). The sandwiches are great. Just got a sandwich, everyone at the shop was super nice and my sandwich was tasty. C'mon ya'll. It's a sub sandwich shop, grow up!! I'd go back again. read more

Had a great meal at this location. The guy at the drive thru window at noon on Wed. June 12th was very polite, friendly and engaging. More meat than the stores in the Wichita/Derby area! read more

BEST Schlotzsky's I've ever been to. In town for a soccer tournament, needing lunch break. The food was delicious but the staff and ambiance were way above par. They were so friendly and helpful. They gave us pickle spears with our sandwiches and a free sample of their new figgy jam apple sandwich (because we really wanted to try it but were hesitant to spend $10 on something we might not like). Whoever runs this place is doing it right Every single employee was trained right and pleasantly helpful. Highly recommend this sandwich (slash pizza, /salad/Cinnabon) shop. read more

They are open during the COVID-19 pandemic. Get your meal to go or have have Door Dash deliver it. However, I don't think they are ready for a pandemic. I was the only car there and it still took 15 minutes to get my meal ready. they had several people in the kitchen. so, I don't know why it took so long to get it ready. then I was reprimanded because I should have went inside instead of using the drive through. Really? no signage anywhere for that. they placed the blame on me. I don't think these guys are willing to offer top notch customer service. You might be better off going somewhere else during this pandemic. read more

We had a wonderful experience here me and my daughter.! I got that tomato bisque soup. My daughter had the kids pizza with mac & cheese and we shared a large Cinnabon roll. The person at the register was named Alex was so very nice took his time to help me because this is my first time here was very patient and helped me with all my questions I'm sure that were dumb. The food tasted completely fresh. The place was very clean. I think the service is what made me really enjoy this place the customer service is a thank you!! read more

Best location I've been to. Great customer service, which is rare these days. Food is good and consistent!

I love Schlotzsky's original sandwich. The bread is amazing and the contents are awesome. They have friendly & efficient service & the ambiance is terrific. Highly recommended. read more

I usually order online and by the time I get there, I just go up to the pickup counter and my food is ready! For the price of their food compared to others fast food sandwich shops, I think their pricing is fair. Love the bogo pizzas on Wednesday's. Only thing I would mention to management is the last couple times I've gotten sourdough sandwiches, the bread was cold, thawed out, and soggy, leading me to believe the bread might not be baked daily as they advertise. Pre 2023 I had no issues with their bread. Hopefully this can be addressed and fixed because I usually would eat here 2-3 times a month, and since the couple last times I had issues with the bread I definitely have not gone as much as I used to because of the inconsistency. read more

I will start by saying that I am ONLY giving this a 5-star review at the moment because the two other times I've been here it has been great. That said, I went tonight and wow... what a disaster. I went around 6pm and business was starting to pick up and it was evident very quickly that there was NOT enough staff there. The lines and orders took forever. I ordered a turkey sandwich, beef sandwich and a side of au jus. What I received was a turkey sandwich, a... blt? I have no idea what it was and a side of tomato basil SOUP. Not even in the ballpark of what I ordered. My roommate got a pepperoni pizza which was obviously very old. The cheese on top was hard and slid off in one solid mass after the first bite. It was inedible, so it went into the trash. The items I received were actually pretty good - except for the turkey sandwich which was cold and slimy. It literally made me gag. Threw it in the trash as well. Also, the staff is not friendly. Every time I have gone, nobody has smiled or welcomed me. Very gruff staff. Should probably change that as well before the entire location goes under ;) EDIT: Well, I waited for them to respond in order to fix this and they didn't, so 1 star it is. It is very clear this location does not care about the quality of it's food nor the caliber of it's staff. Good job - you've ruined one of my best childhood memories by bringing back a shell of what this place use to be. read more

A friend told us about a $7 box lunch deal Schlotzsky's was doing while we are on shut down. My husband and I decided to give it a try for lunch one day. I was extremely surprised at how much food there was for $7. The meal came with a sandwich or pizza, chips and a cookie. The sandwich was so good and I upgraded to a pretzel bun which made it even better. The cookie was okay. My husband got the pizza and was surprised at the size of the pizza. We want to try it again sometime and next time I want to try the pizza. All of the food was delicious and it was such a great price. read more

Schlotzsky's - Turkey Bacon Club on Pretzel Bun - Sandwiches Near Me - Olathe, Kansas

Can't beat the original sandwich here. The bread is insane and the meat, veggies and hot sauce are the bomb. Service was great.

Super not impressed. Won't be back. Meat is not quality and it was almost $8. Bread is weird

I usually only eat schlotskys when it's brought into work. I personally am not a fan of the bread so make sure you like sourdough bread. The roast beef sandwich is good, the original is ok. Stay away from the breakfast sandwiches. It includes a rubber "egg" patty. I feel the pizzas are much better than the sandwiches. Then naturally, the cinnamon rolls are the best item there. read more

I just wanted to say thank you for an exceptional lunch experience today. My sandwich was hot and delicious as always. The service was incredibly friendly. I went through the drive through and it was busy but the service was really quick. I never mind waiting when my food is served the correct temperature but today was just an exceptionally great experience. Thank you so much for staying open through all this and maintaining your always excellent quality! I have to drive 30 minutes to get to this location but it's always so worth it! read more

Normally I have a great experience here, but tonight was not good. I was ordering in the drive-thru and I just wanted to know what was on the Smoked Turkey Sandwich. I mentioned that I would like lettuce and tomatoes, I paused, and said, "Actually, I'm not sure what comes on the sandwich," and there was a very long pause during which I got no response. So I started guessing, and finally the person on the speaker gruffly just asked me what I wanted on my sandwich. Look, no one is sorrier than me that I have some dietary restrictions, and I can't eat a lot of foods. I just wanted to know what was on the sandwich, but apparently it was none of my business. However, this is not a one star review, because the person at the window was friendly, and the food was good. read more

Yummy original sandwiches. Split a large. Service was good and clean restaurant. Limited parking

This is one of our go-to stops for lunch during the work week. Service at the register is ridiculously hit or miss. It's either perfect or the person is completely incompetent. If you can make it through the ordering process, the food is always tasty. I get a half sandwich and a half salad and the portions are filling. Thank you for fulfilling my lunch desires. read more

We love the food, but turned right around and left after being ignored by the employees at the counter. They were taking care of an issue, which we patiently waited for, but never were told "I'll be with you in a moment" or even looked at. A few minutes go by and the employee at the register throws her phone on the counter and finally asks "how are you?" I respond with a "I'm good. And you?" She replies with a disgusted "fine," and never makes eye contact. She's looking at her coworker and is still preoccupied with whatever ticked her off and never asks to take our order. My husband had time to use the restroom and come back out to wait with us still. We just left. Sept 7, 2020 3:55pm. read more

This Schlotzsky's location gives the company a bad look! We have tried this location multiple times and every time we have been more disappointed than the visit before. The food is never good. The bread tastes old, they served a cinnamon roll straight out of the "display case" even after the manager told them not to, and the ingredients are thrown unevenly onto the sandwiches. The cinnamon roll was so hard we could have cracked a tooth. The manager or owner was there when it happened and he proceeded to rip into the employee in front of everyone, it was really uncomfortable when it happened. Anyway, that was a long while ago. Tonight I ordered two pizzas, they're buy one get one free. Ugh, again the bread or so-called crust tasted old! It was so undercooked and left me irritated for thinking that this visit was going to be different from any of the others before. Looks like I have to retire this location, never again. read more

I enjoyed my regular sized smoked turkey sandwich. The turkey was piled high, creating a good balance with the delicious sourdough bread. The veggies were fresh, and hot sauce was available to spice things up a bit. The service was somewhat friendly, and fast. Sandwich was pretty good... it was some special they were promoting. Nothing too extrordinary. The Cinnabon pecan roll is really what I came for...and I got it! Yummy! Haven't had one in years. It seemed to be the same as I remember. Staff were less than interested in being there. They got the order right though. Great place for a Cinnabon fix. read more

I went to Schlotzsky"s for the first time in a long time yesterday because I had a craving for a Reuben sandwich. My first disappointment was to learn that a large sandwich is $15.00 and that doesn't include chips or a drink. Anyway I got my order and drove home, when I got home I open up the sandwich to find they gave me someone else order so I will never go back to the Schiotzsky's at 1635 W. Great option for very fast casual. Good bbq chicken pizza. 2 for 1 pizza on Wednesday. Employees were super nice. Fairly priced.

Food is always good. The gentleman working the drive-thru is NOT FRIENDLY while ordering. Better once you are at the drive-thru. I get be short handed and stressed, but you shouldn't take it out on the customer. Willing to wait a bit longer, given staffing shortages everywhere, but not willing to be talked down to. Friendliness goes a long ways!! read more

Frankly, my Wife and I have been a customer of Schlotzsky's (The one in Olathe) since they first opened their doors. Never had much of a complaint...except for when they got rid of the Wisconsin Cheese Soup. It was my personal favorite. Other than that, the sandwiches are outstanding. I ALWAYS get the smoked turkey and my Wife gets the original. So, how did I conquer the idea of no cheese soup? I found a company online that sells Wisconsin cheese soup and I bought a couple of containers. So, when we visit, I take a thermos of soup to have with my sandwich. Problem solved! read more

When we came in no one was manning the front counter. It took several minutes before someone came up front to take the order but I'm guessing they were working short handed since the guy had a drive-thru headset on. The food was fabulous and timely. I've always loved their deli sandwiches way better than any one else's but haven't had them for years since going gluten free. My daughter learned they offered gluten free bread and I have to say it was the best sandwich I've had in a few years. Even the bun was delicious and moist! I would definitely recommend giving them a try. I loved it! read more

Was in the area on business and it was OK. I ordered a smaller sandwich and a personal pizza (they are small) and it was fine. It didn't taste like fast food, which I was glad, but not exactly a home cooked meal. I wouldn't hesitate to return though. The staff was friendly and the food tasted fresh. read more

I was shopping nearby and decided to try Schlotzky's, which I'd never been in before. With a name like Schlotzky's, I expected a Jewish-flavored deli, but it really isn't. The sandwich choices are more generic. They did have a Reuben, though, which is one of my favorite sandwiches, so I tried that, along with a cup of their potato soup. The potato soup was chunky and tasty, and I almost regretted not getting a bowl instead of a cup. The Reuben was generous and tasted good, although it wasn't a traditional one. Instead of rye or marble rye, Schlotzky's Reuben is served on a large round pumpernickel bun type of bread that's toasted (not grilled, like a traditional Reuben). It was pretty good, though, and toasting is probably healthier than grilling in a lot of extra butter. I wouldn't make a special trip here, but it was decent for a chain (which is about to open a lot more stores in K.C., according to the Star) and I'd eat there again if I'm in the neighborhood. This store is on Strang Line at 122nd, a few blocks south of the big shopping area at 119th and I-35, in an area with several hotels. It's directly across the freeway from Bass Pro Shops. read more

If you are looking for something to eat that is fast then this place would work. The pepperoni pizza was pretty good

I've visited this location many times in the past but whoever they have working in the drive through now is the rudest person ever. I could barely hear them through their terrible speaker box and the the waitress got real sassy and nasty about taking my order. If they act like that no telling what they will do with your food with no real supervision. read more

Just a boring chain, with a boring menu and really uninspiring sandwiches. Had an original and just didn't feel any love from that thing. I hardly found any of the other sandwiches on the menu to be appetising. read more

Growing up in Texas, I have enjoyed Schlotzsky's sandwiches for most of my life. This location is very nice, and I believe I've convinced my boyfriend to make this place part of our regular going-out rotation. When we visited more than two years ago, it was sort of underwhelming. I think they redesigned the decor and lowered the prices since then, but I can't be sure. The sandwiches and pizzas are just as tasty as I remember. The way they melt that cheese into that buttered sourdough. Talk about things that make you go 'Mmm!' It wasn't crowded, but seeing as it was Saturday night I can understand wanting to go someplace fancier. I'm taking away a star because there were fruit flies/gnats in the lemon container. But hey, if you've ever been to the Burger King on Santa Fe near K-mart on a hot summer's day, trust me, you've seen much worse in the drink fountain. read more
