    Chicken Thigh Shish Kabob
    Rachel L.

So d*mN GOOD! This place broke my preference on beef over chicken. Their chicken taste phenomenal. It's insane. The chicken plate is pretty good, the meat is very nicely grilled. The basmati rice is cooked to the right point. Hummus is very good too with the lavash. I had the chicken ceasar wrap too, it's pretty good just wish there's a bit more chicken in it for its price. It comes with spicy mayo, has falafel bits inside it's refreshing to have in summer. It's great, not unforgettable. I still prefer the chicken more, very good even it's leftover! SERVICE Service is very friendly and welcoming! Nothing to complain about. Family style restaurant, zero attitude. AMBIENCE This place is more of a take-out spot rather than going to a restaurant. And their seatings are very limited, there was only 2 table when I got there. I waited 20 minutes for my food, and I see most of the people ordered ahead and come pick up. So keep in mind if you're in a rush, it's not necessarily a grab and go situation there. Overall, I am glad I tried this place out. I think no one should miss out on their kabobs, even it seems like the chicken ceasar wrap is the viral one online. Definitely returning.

Why go to Raffy's when you can go here? I must say that I have been coming to Mini Kabob for 10+ years. I live in OC and have visited on many occasions just for Mini Kabob. The food at Mini Kabob is extremely solid. My favorite cuts are the steak shish and chicken thighs. I dont really care for chicken but they do a really good job here. Even their lamb is amazing and I dont not like lamb at all. The toum is fantastic and the rice is so buttery and fluffy. The ambience is quaint as the shop is small. I remember it used to be a single unit until the neighbors on their right moved out and they took over the space. There is a few outdoor seats but im going to preface and highlight the word "few". Otherwise you can eat in your car or take it to a nearby park. Armen is running the show and is a stand up human being. Always tried his best to remember every customer, gets to know them and greets everyone with a happy smile despite how slammed they can get. Hardest working individual I know who is trying to make a huge name for Mini Kabob now that he has taken over the family business.

Finally checked out Mini Kabob after hearing so many good things. I went with their popular chicken Caesar wrap and thought it was solid. The falafel croutons added a great crunch, and the spicy garlic sauce was easily my favorite part. I did think it was a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd still come back since there are quite a few other dishes on their menu I'd like to try.

The "food influencers "will you tell you : This is the best chicken cedar wrap I have ever had . I have a different opinion. Let me explain: The viral chicken cesar wrap is good not great and certainly not the best thing I ever eaten!! For $ 19.5, you get a rather small burrito where the added falafels are shredded so thin that you just can't taste them. The chicken breast is good quality but the spicy chipotle sauce that comes with it has no business here. If the price was around $ 15, with more chicken and falafel, and a tahini based sauce, the burrito might have earned 4-5 stars. Very easy to make at home by the way, just get some rotisserie chicken, a flour tortilla and some salad. I would add some toum or a nice lemony tahini.

The chicken Caesar wrap is absolutely WOW. The best chicken wrap I've ever had and I'm blown away. The ingredients are simple but the chicken was tender the lettuce was crunchy and fresh but the sauce stole the show. The Caesar sauce was light and by itself had sophisticated flavors but then the garlic sauce also added a different type of flavor. It was great ordered to go.

Very good! So happy I finally got to try this place! Be warned - it is a 20+ minute wait and there is one picnic table to eat at. The good news is that most people pick up to go orders, so that one table is fairly available. The chicken was very good. Super moist. The beef Lula was AMAZING. The hummus was ok. The guy next to me gave me one of his lamb chops! Probably the single nicest act of food kindness from a stranger ever. Great lamb! They salt brine it. If I were to go again, I would try the beef. The ambiance was good but I would not eat there. They have set themselves up to be a carry out restaurant - I just didn't get the memo.

Eggplant Caviar. Pickles were my own!

I finally tried Mini Kabob and it was all that and more. I ordered the chicken and beef plate with rice and hummus (yes to the hummus), and the chicken was incredibly well-seasoned and juicy -- so good. Only note for next time: I'll ask for it a little more well-done (just personal preference... I like my chicken with a little extra bite ). The eggplant caviar was solid and a generous portion, but the real standout? The Caesar wrap. It completely lived up to the hype -- bold, flavorful, and honestly addictive. I almost ordered a second one to take home. Also worth mentioning: the son of the owner who took my order was super friendly and had great customer service, even with a long line. He kept things moving while still being engaging, which I appreciated. I was excited to hear they're opening a Studio City location -- I'll definitely be back. This place is a must. Get the Caesar wrap.

Finally tried this place for lunch after seeing so many videos online raving about this spot. First and foremost, I did not expect it to be just a small shack with just two or three outdoor tables available. Parking situation is not the best as it's around the corner of a strip mall, and is also next to apartment buildings and houses. Food wise, their Chicken Ceasar Wrap is pretty dang amazing. It was the perfect size for lunch. The spicy garlic sauce that came with it was pretty amazing too.

I've been wanting to come here for several years and the stars finally aligned. I ordered the chicken ceasar wrap. I was expecting it to be good, but I was not expecting to have one of the singular best things I've ever eaten in my life. It was served in what looked like an uncooked tortilla; smooth exterior. It was sturdy enough to hold everything and it didn't disintegrate. The chicken was cooked perfectly (not overcooked like many middle eastern places) and very flavorful. The ceasar dressing is home made and the crunchy little falafel crouton bits took it to a whole different level. It was served with a side of slightly spiced up ceasar dressing, though the wrap didn't need it. The service is as good as you can expect from a window opening. The owner was very friendly and outgoing. This place basically has a picnic table on the front sidewalk, so there's no ambiance to speak of. With food this good, it doesn't matter. That said, at this point their business has achieved a level of success and they should move into a facility that's on the same par as their food. A wrap and a canned soda cost $23, so it's not a cheap eat, but nothing will keep me away from coming back. A side note; their food is available at the Neighborly food hall in Thousand Oaks. It was good, but not as good as the real deal!

This place been blowing up on social media so finally checked out this weekend. Online ordering process is very easy and food was ready in 30 minutes. Small place and only a couple of tables outside which was full by the time we arrived (Sunday noonish) so we took food to go. We got two Caesar chicken wraps which totally deserve all the rave reviews. Husband said it's the BEST Caesar wrap he's ever had. Make sure you get extra spicy sauce on the side which took it to another level. It has a hint of smokiness which is different from any other wraps. Also love you can taste the spices and flavors from the chicken and crunchy bits. Really nothing more you can ask for. Will be back to try the plates which seem to be very popular too! Besides, the staff (owner?) was so friendly and easy to talk to, and seems to remember all the regulars. What a lovely place!

4 kinds of kebab . All tasty and perfectly cooked .

Located on a side street below the Glendale galleria this cafe is a hidden gem! Sparse street parking and a walk Up window for service . Overwhelming aromas emit here and owner chef is the man to see. Ordered catering trays for my wife's birthday . Chicken, beef, lule kebabs and lamb chops were freshly cooked and ready on time. Fresh hummus and rice with plenty of lavash bread were all great with big taste. Great value still exists with places like mini kebab ....bravo!

This medit kabob joint is what you call a hole in the wall slam dunk. The chicken breast kabobs were grilled to perfection. The service is great as well with approximately 20-30 min wait.I suggest phone in your order.I will definitely be returning back in the future.

Combo Plate: pork, chicken thighs, chicken lule. Every single thing on the plate is delicious!

    Is everything in styrofoam?

    Yes

I love Mediterranean food, but have a nightshade allergy. I'm allergic to tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, and peppers, including red pepper spices such as cayenne, paprika, and chili powder. Is there anything that might be safe for me to enjoy?

    Do you deliver for catering?

We don’t offer delivery for catering. We typically try to be as accommodating as possible. Many people call an Uber to pick up the food for them to be dropped off. Many probable solutions, just one that makes sense with each order.

Hi! Looking to cater for 6 people- do you offer a pre set menu per person that includes variety of proteins/ rice/ tomato/ pepper or do we order individual items?

Hey, we offer catering. Nothing is pre set. We fix to your preference. Give us a call and we can coordinate!

Is there anything that might be safe to enjoy here for someone with nightshade allergies (tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, peppers including red pepper spices)?

I saw your restaurant on YouTube and the person mentioned you add pork to your beef kabobs. What items on your menu are pork-free?

Hey! Thank you for reaching out. The items listed below do not contain any pork product: Chicken…

Hi, where can I find a full up to date menu?

Hey most up to date menu is at the store right now since the price is fluctuating dramatically.!

Are you now open? I stopped by 2 weeks ago and It was closed, looked like the place was being remodeled.

Hey! We’re open now. We were closed for remodel but officially back open. Our hours are Tuesday-Sunday 11am-6pm

Hi! Do you take catering orders? If so how far in advance works I need to order? Thank you!

Hey! We take catering orders everyday. Depending on size and the amount we’d appreciate at least 2-3 day notice. You can lock it down as early as you please though.

What type of payments do you accept?

Hey! We do cash only art the store and accept CC via Grubhub

Are you guys open for take out or delivery?

Yes we are! Both phone in and take out through grubhub and Postmates

Are any of your meats halal?

Is there dairy in the garlic sauce?

No there isn’t. It’s all vegan.

Are there any gluten free items?

Every plate is practically gluten free. The only thing that contains gluten is our bread.

We ordered two of the carousel plates with four different meats: beef, veal, filet, and chicken. The beef and chicken kebabs were super flavorful. It paired deliciously with their rice, roasted veggies, and cabbage salad. I also love their crispy thin pita chips. I was not a fan of the veal liver as it was too gamey for me. Overall the food was really good and the portion sizes were great. Drinks: 3/5 The drinks here were not that good. They were a dollar or two higher than your regular bar. However, the taste was mediocre. Their hibiscus Paloma was very bland and a little watered down. Service: 5/5 We came here on a Friday night at 7pm, we had a reservation and got seated pretty quickly despite it being quite busy. Our server checked up on our table often and our food came out pretty fast. They also gave out some bread, cheese, veggies, and olives while we waited for our food. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is lively and feels a little upscale. They have an outdoor seating area as well. Overall, I would come back here for the food, but maybe not the drinks.

The OG Soup Dumpling: Why Khinkali House is Glendale's Best Kept Secret…read more Let's get one thing straight: if you think the "soup dumpling" started with a two-hour wait outside a Din Tai Fung, you're about 600 years late to the party. While the culinary world is currently obsessed with the delicate, bite-sized Xiao Long Bao--which didn't even show up until the 1870s in Shanghai--the Georgians have been perfecting this craft since the 13th-century Mongol invasions. Khinkali is the OG. It's the rugged, fist-sized ancestor that doesn't need a bamboo steamer basket or a delicate, nervous touch. It's a meal that requires soul, a bit of primitive technique, and a complete disregard for your clean shirt. Tucked away on Artsakh Avenue, Khinkali House is where you go to pay your respects to this ancient culinary titan. Atmosphere and the Art of the Rainy Day I happened to drop in on a rare, miserable rainy day in Glendale, and let me tell you, sitting out in their roomy, covered patio area while the water drummed against the roof was pure atmospheric gold. It's the kind of setting that demands heavy, unapologetic comfort food. The service here is sharp, warm, and attentive--the kind of old-school hospitality that makes you feel like a regular before you've even opened the menu. The Opening Act: Borscht with Soul You don't just jump into a pile of massive dumplings. You have to prepare the palate. I started with a bowl of their Borscht, and it was exquisite. It arrived as a deep, vibrant crimson pool of beet-infused soul, swimming with tender beef, cabbage, carrots, and potatoes. It was earthy, slightly sweet, and served at a temperature that could ward off any chill in your bones. It's the kind of bowl that tells you immediately that this kitchen isn't just following a recipe; they're honoring a bloodline. The Main Event: The Four Pillars of Khinkali Then came the heavy hitters. Unlike the thin-skinned, elegant Xiao Long Bao, Khinkali is built for battle. It's a massive, boiled parcel with a thick, satisfyingly chewy dough gathered at the top into a sturdy little knot or "handle" (the kudi). You don't eat the handle--you use it to hoist the beast, bite a small hole in the side, aggressively slurp out the liquid gold trapped inside, and then devour the rest. I worked my way through all four flavors, and each was a masterclass in balance: Ground Beef & Pork: The classic heavyweight. The moment you pierce the dough, a rich, heavily spiced, aggressively savory broth floods your spoon. The meat is fatty in all the right ways, laced with herbs that cut through the richness. It is purely addictive. Lamb: A masterclass in bold, unapologetic flavor. The lamb adds a deeply gamey, sophisticated depth that grounds the entire dish. As it boils, the rendered fat mixes with the internal cooking liquids inside that thick doughy cavern to create a broth that is darker, earthier, and aggressively flavorful. It's a heavy, soulful revelation that hits you right in the chest. Mushroom: Often treated as a vegetarian afterthought in other places, here it's a star. It hits you with a massive wave of umami. The mushrooms are tender and earthy, producing a fragrant, woodsy liqueur inside the dumpling that makes you realize you don't need meat to create a complex masterpiece. Georgian Cheese (The Undisputed Champion): I'm just going to say it--this was my absolute favorite. It is an exercise in pure, primal decadence. Instead of a meat broth, biting into this unleashes a molten, gooey river of tangy, salty Georgian cheese. It pulls, it stretches, and the sharp, slightly funky bite of the cheese against the warm, thick dough is a spiritual experience. I could eat ten of these and die happy. The Return Trip The tragedy of Khinkali House is that the dumplings are so filling, you have to leave the rest of the menu unexplored. But I am already plotting my return. Next time, I'm coming back for the Adjarskiy Khachapuri--that famous Georgian boat-shaped bread loaded with melted cheese and crowned with a fresh egg yolk and a pat of butter. I also have my eye on the Zhengyalov Hatz (a traditional Armenian herb-filled flatbread), and the wildly intriguing Osetrina (Sturgeon) Skewer, which you just don't see every day. The Verdict: Respect the Elders Let's cut the noise. Xiao Long Bao is great for a polite, light lunch, but Khinkali is for when you want to feel something real. Khinkali House has managed to bring a 13th-century mountain staple to a Glendale patio and make it feel like the most relevant thing on the street. It's bold, it's historical, and it's flat-out delicious. If you want to experience the true evolution of the dumpling, get yourself to Khinkali House. Grab a handle, watch the rain, and eat like a Georgian highlander. You can thank me later.

Food was good and our server was nice, but I was honestly confused and disappointed with the way…read moregratuity/tips were handled. We were 4 adults and 1 child, and an automatic 18% gratuity was already included in the bill. However, on the receipt the section saying "tips not included" was circled, which made it seem like gratuity had NOT been added yet. Because of that confusion, I ended up leaving an additional cash tip. I understand restaurants may add gratuity automatically for larger groups, but if gratuity is already included, the receipt and staff should make that clear instead of circling "tips not included." It creates unnecessary confusion for customers. Also, automatically adding gratuity regardless of service feels questionable. Thankfully our server was kind, but if service had been poor, customers should still feel they have a choice regarding tipping.

The hummus was smooth, fresh, and had just the right amount of garlic. The tabbouleh was also solid, but the standout for me was the rice-soft, buttery, and easily one of the best I've had in the area. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.

PARKING Strip mall location with easy parking on a weeknight, no issues there. AMBIANCE You eat here out of convenience, not for atmosphere. The space felt stale and bare, with an overhead TV blasting Armenian music videos the whole time. Not exactly inviting. Do yourself a favor and get takeout. FOOD Chicken Shawarma Plate - $15.99 We ordered this expecting rice, not fries, our bad. It came with hand-cut fries (more fries than chicken), pita bread, and a side of hummus. Everything was fresh and generally tasty, but the chicken leaned a bit too salty for my taste. The hummus, however, was creamy and solid. Rating: 3.5/5 Peach Cake - $10 Pricey for what it was. It looked promising but was dry, with custard inside. Rating: 2/5 OVERALL Friendly service and reasonably priced plates. Not the best Armenian food I've had, but far from the worst. RECOMMEND if you don't mind your food on the salty side.

When we first walked into the restaurant we thought we were the only patrons, then we found out the host just likes to seat people in the private booths which are separated from the main dining room by straw dividers. I read on the other reviews that they thought the server was not very nice, however my experience was the opposite - she provided helpful input when we asked for advices on the cuisine, and even recommended us to try the khinkali with sour cream which she provided and didn't have to. On to the food - we ordered the eggplant appetizer, it's similar to baba ghanouj but this one is a bit spicier and so yummy with the bread that came with it. We also ordered khinkali which is Georgian's version dumplings (we ordered the boiled version but there's also fried ones available). The skin is on the thicker side and was very chewy, the filling was well spiced with herbs, when you cut into it the juices come flowing out, yum! Our fav dish was the chimeruli which is baked hen drenched in a garlicky cream sauce that was more of a soup to me and i could not stop drinking it down! The hen was roasted so nicely with crispy skin, and along with the sauce just made the whole dish so hearty. Things are on the pricier side but I would still definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who's adventurous in trying different cuisines. It was interesting to note that they had two menus, one for Georgian foods, and the other for Armenian foods. Btw the restaurant charges a "non cash fee" for all non cash payments.
