Took my mom here as a Mother's Day treat, I told them I didn't have any services needed for myself but I'd be paying for my mom. They took her to a seat within 10 mins, I stayed up front in a seat waiting. Who I believed to be the owner or manager. since she was greeting everyone putting your name down and telling clients where to go when employees were available, came to me and told me I needed to move because her seats up front were only for customers and I quote "since you're only paying for your mom you need to move somewhere else so my customers can sit , thank you" mind you there was no other customers coming in. No one standing around waiting. So I was confused, especially considering I'm the actual paying customer. However I went outside then when it came to pay she asked me if I wanted to add a tip, normally I'd have no problem but since I wasn't allowed to sit in their seats I declined. My mom liked her nails but we both agreed on not coming back due to the seat issue. read more

Pedicure was great, but i was disappointed that I did have to wait over 30 minutes with an appointment. Very happy with my service today. Made an appointment online and when it was time for me to check in, I was seated right away and my service got started very quickly. I showed my nail tech a picture of what I wanted and she was able to replicate it exactly how I asked. The vibe of the salon was very nice both with the music and the shows that they had playing in the background. My nail tech Talia, was very thorough with making sure every detail was exactly as I wanted it from the shape of the nail, the length of the nails, the design, and even how deep of a French tip I wanted. So I waited on this review cause I wanted to wait after my second visit and WOW!! Not disappointed at all on both visits. Both times I went in they took me right in since I booked my appointment online, same day just an hour before I was greeted with a smile and great service they asked me what I wanted and what I was looking for she found the person for me. The first time I went I had 2 people working on me since it was really detailed and this second time I only had 1. Today I went back and it was the same service same friendly staff and never pushed to get extra things. The worst service ever . Had an appointment and I specifically said what I was coming in for. Pedicure and take off nails and manicure. After 3 hours I was able to leave with the my worst service ever. They made me wait 1/2 to sit for pedicure. I had to tell them to start soaking off nails. They started my pedicure at 1:45 then made me wait and wait for simple pedicure while raking other clients because they were getting sets of nails. Then came back and told me the person doing pedicure would do my manicure after insisting to do bonding gel I said No.So then after pedicure was done told me that that person was doing another pedicure. I explained to her I have been very patient and I know your busy but I had an appointment and she said Noone knew how to do manicure ‍. I asked you told me same girl was doing manicure she said no she doesn't you need to wait! After explaining and explaining to her I need to leave my nails had just been soaking all full of smushy glue . I couldnt just leave. Someone agreed to do my manicure clear by the time I left 3 hours later and clear nail polish came off and manicure is horrible paying 75 dollars.Never again read more

I ultimately came here because of the good reviews, however, my first experience here wasn't the best. I originally booked an online appointment at 9:00 for a "Random1" since it was my first time, showed up at 9:00am they were closed, called and a female answered saying they were open LOL...clearly they weren't until around 9:20am I was the first one who showed up and asked for a pastel french tip over my natural nails and even showed a photo, I've never had acrylic nails and usually always just get a gel over my almond shaped nails, however, Jenny persuaded me to get the "Dip" which I've never done before. As Cindy was doing my nails they also persuaded me to get a pedicure which I also wanted but wasn't sure if you had to book an appointment like I did with my mani... I jumped in the seated tub while another female did an awesome job on my pedi, however, Cindy just kept dipping my fingers & I noticed them getting very lumpy, stubby, and thick to point where they kind of look very unflattering when you look at my nails from a side view after all that she was applying white french tips on my 5th digit & told her "when do you apply the pastel colors?" she just nodded her head, so she continued to complete the white french tips and told her once again, " when do you apply the pastel colors? over the white?" At this point I was so confused and she was applying the nail oil like she was finished...so I asked again and kept showing her the photo and I think she finally realized that I wanted Pastel French Tips -___- Long story short she did the pastel over the white french tip which my nails look so damn THICK & on top of that she filed my nails down so much taking away from my natural length. She also was rushing after telling here at least 5x about the pastel french tips my total bill came out to $102 which is honestly too damn much for stubby looking nails, I must say the pedicure was great! But I will not be coming back to this nail salon Pros: Plenty of parking in the plaza, looks relatively clean, & cool jams playing. read more

I just got a manicure, and honestly, I wasn't happy with the results. Everyone there was really nice, but I wouldn't go back. The technician didn't even clean my toes properly, and I felt too uncomfortable to say anything. I usually don't speak up in those situations because I'm too embarrassed to say anything and I just let them do their thing, but this experience was bad bad. They had great reviews, so I wanted to give them a chance, but unfortunately, it wasn't for me. And yes even after this terrible service I still left her a good tip. read more

I've been a loyal customer here for almost 2 years now. I get my eyebrows done here my daughter also comes here along with my son. I've never had a problem until today with a rude employee named Jackie. I had a an appt with Tyler for my nails today and I had a family emergency so I went in at 5:30 to see if he can still see me and he said he could however Jackie said he couldn't take me. He even said I don't know why she is saying no? She just said no for no reason without even explaining. Because of Jackie I will never be returning here. You loss 3 customers because of Jackie she was super rude. I even explained to her I'm getting married Wednesday and really needed this appointment but my daughter had an emergency and she didn't care. I ended up going to nails on nails off of Norwalk blvd and they were so sweet and did an amazing job with my nails! So thanks to Jackie because now I found a better place to go too. so go check out nails on nails! Tina was amazing there!! It's really sad because the lady at the front desk is always super nice and sweet and all the other employees here at Mindy's nail are nice especially Tyler but because of Jackie I will not be going back anymore unless he or she is gone No Mindy that's not what happened at all. I understand you have a business and want to protect it by saying this nice polite response to cover your ass but that's not what happened. I never expected Tyler to stop working on his current client to take me. I got there at 535pm and you close at 7:30 with more than enough time for him to take me after. And he was already almost done with his current client when I went up to him and asked him. So if you're going to tell the story please tell the truth. It's my birthday weekend and the Nail salon I usually go to doesn't open till 10am. I searched Yelp to see if any other salon in the area opened earlier since I have errands and Mindy's opened at 9am. I got here right at the opening, there were two girls before me but they had appointments. I was the first one without an appointment but got seated right away. The place was really clean and played the jams! Busy Friday morning, Within the next 30min the place was packed! Many workers though, at least 12+ which is nice. I got the $35 pedicure Spa Package which included callous remover, scrub and 5min massage. The nail tech showed me a timer of 5min which I actually appreciated because she actually took the whole 5 minutes. The ONLY reason I am subtracting a star is because the nail place I usually go to for callous removal takes more time and really does a good job since I am someone who gets dead skin there. Otherwise this place was great! I would recommend a pedicure. read more

I had a disappointing experience at this nail salon, and I feel compelled to share my experience. First, my toenails--I went in for a gel pedicure, and instead of a smooth, professional job, they layered on way too much gel polish, which ultimately caused both of my big toenails to break. Not only was this frustrating, but it's also painful and will take months to fully grow out again. A professional salon should know how to properly apply gel without causing damage or breakage. As for my manicure, I paid to have my gel press-on nails removed (that they also applied) and to receive a manicure, expecting a full-service treatment. However they did not remove all the glue, leaving weeks of residue on my nails (as shown in the pictures). My nails were left in a rough, damaged state, and I didn't even receive the full experience that comes with the manicure I paid for--no warm hand towel, no extra care, just a rushed and incomplete job. read more
