    Brazilian flat bread, delicious!!
    Brian G.

The BBQ is mouth watering, the staff is extremely friendly and really appreciate their customers. Yes it's a hole in the wall but they're often the diamond in the rough. This is the perfect example, if I didn't live 500 miles away I'd eat here every week.

The place is pretty unassuming and can be hard to miss in the corner of an old shopping center. Going inside, there is a Brazilian grocery store with the restaurant to the left. The majority of the staff speaks to you in Portuguese at first but I found most spoke Spanish and English as well and, all were very polite. The buffet bar has your standard rice, beans and plantains but there were various other Brazilian dishes there as well that were pretty good. They offer a buffet of just the bar and a buffet with the BBQ. The BBQ meats, they're descent. All a little on the dry side but still with a variety of different types, mainly beef and pork, but still some chicken ones. All the attending staff were super helpful with any questions or concerns. A place worth the visit.

We always come here for dine in or take out. They have the best flan I've eaten my entire life-- no exaggeration. Taste sweeter compared to Mexican flan. The pork roast is always great, taste like lechon. They have many selection of high quality pastries.

Omigosh why am I just now finding out about this gem? It is definitely a diamond in the ruff. It is so easy to just drive by this place. Keep in mind this is a legit Brazilian spot, so the patrons and the workers may give you that "are you lost?" look if you're not Brazilian - but all in all, they were super friendly though. The food was BOMB ASS DIGGITY!!! Omg - that damn rice and beans and meat plate was OFF THE FRAGGIN CHAIN!! omggggggg - and it was decently priced at like $10 for the plate. The seasoning was on point, the meat was cooked brilliantly, everything was hot and fresh and just so damn good! Now, this is not some fancy place, so keep your snobbery a few notches down. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but the food is so good, I dont care if I have to park on the roof. So, I suggest, be adventurous and try this place out.

Food was good. But not really same level as one of your fancy Brazilian eateries. If you don't mind eating in what looks like one half is a supermarket and travel agency, and the other side being the restaurant and try not to pay attention to the dirty floors then you'll be fine. I must say through, the pretty lady who served us, I didn't get her name for she didn't introduce herself, but I did pay attention to the fact she was not only our server, but our hostess, meat cutter and dishwasher. She did so much running around by herself that I was starting to think, she was the "Mina" in Mina's Grill. Meat could use a little more flavor but you can't really complain for the amount of food you get for $9.99 as well as the great service! I think I tipped more than the bill for the service was excellent! We came in for a Groupon that was $14 for two people. They also have baked goods as well but I was too full to try any. That will have to be another day. Peep the pics!

    How much is the buffet?

If I recall correctly around $18-22. It was 5 months ago and I turned in that expense report.

I don't eat beef or pork or fried. Would there be enough other food on the buffet for me?

Most of their meats are beef and pork. They do have one or two chicken items, so you could eat those. Also, they have a full Brazilian salad bar with breads. So you wouldn't go hungry.

Location and Parking Street parking around the square is available for free, however we opted for the deck at the edge of the square for convenience. Venue and Atmosphere Featuring two levels, stately hardwood floors, and sophisticated lighting, Mac's is perfect for a date night, celebration, or whatever occasion your heart desires. Service Our server (I forgot his name!) happened to be a former chef and restaurant owner himself. As expected, he was extremely knowledgeable and gave great food and wine recommendations. Food and Beverages We split the Caesar salad, sirloin, and appetizer trio. Everything was delicious, cooked at the perfect temperature, and seasoned to perfection. The lobster mac and cheese deserves a shoutout; I just wish the appetizer portion could be larger (haha)! They gave us a lovely complimentary dessert for our anniversary, much appreciated! Verdict I'll be back!

Due to the openness of the dining room, it is on the louder side making it difficult to talk with folks not sitting directly next to order across from one another. Service was very good, attentive, and frirfriendly. My wife and I both had ceasar salad, filet medium rare, and strawberry topped cheesecake. For sides we had asparagus and mashed potatoes. The sides wete quite good, the best part of our meals. The salad was okay though the dressing was on the more bland side and fresh ground pepper helped its flavor profile quite a bit. For a restaurant calling itself a "chophouse" and supposedly upscale, you would think they would know how to cook a steak or use a better quality steak. Our filets were cooked to proper temperature but lacked any taste of salt or seasoning and lacked any searing on the outside. The meat was chewy rather than tender and made us wonder "what's so special about this place" where parking availability is also a challenge!? So you would think dessert would be hard to mess up, but our cheesecake was nothing special at all. We've had better tasting Sara Lee cheesecake from the supermarket; definitely below expectation. We'll consider giving it another try, but at their prices there are so many other tried and true steakhouse we much prefer.

The atmosphere isn't as stuffy or as formal like a steakhouse in the city (e.g., Buckhead), but it's still nice. Book your reservation using OpenTable and get dining points. There's a big dedicated parking lot around the building with plenty of free parking. No valet. We had a party of five and shared a lot of dishes. Here's what I had: Classic Cocktails * Dirty Martini ($15) - Hanson Original Vodka, Foro Dry Vermouth, olive juice, pimento olives Appetizers * Oysters on the Half Shell (12 for $33) - cocktail sauce and horseradish; James River, Virginia Sides * White Cheddar Mac & Cheese ($9) * Hawaiian Roasted Brussels Sprouts ($11) - with smoked bacon and Parmesan cheese Signature Cuts * Cherokee Western Luau (14 oz steak, $54) - ribeye marinated for 48 hours in pineapple, soy and ginger, "a Cherokee favorite;" 1855 Black Angus Beef from Grand Island, NE House Specials * Black Jack Salmon ($34) - wood-grilled and basted with Jack Daniel's glaze and served with crusted mashed potatoes and EVOO broccolini Desserts * Bananas Foster ($12) - flambeed tableside We also got cheese bread to start (bread with melted cheese on top, with a creamy white sauce). Everything was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed everything, starting with the martini, which was well-made. The oysters were big, fresh, and tasty. The Cherokee Western Luau was recommended to me by our server. He was so convincing that my friend changed his order to get a Western Luau too. It was fantastic, perfectly cooked to medium rare. The salmon was terrific as well, nicely cooked, tender, and flavorful (another excellent choice as well). The Bananas Foster wasn't flambeed tableside as described on the menu, so that was disappointing. However, it still tasted good. Our server was Cason B and he was great. He made an excellent recommendation on the Western Luau and was just a nice guy overall. The hostess was friendly too and helped us take a picture in the lobby. Cherokee Chophouse used to be Cherokee Cattle Company. After COVID, it reopened as Cherokee Chophouse in November 2022. It's part of the Marietta Diner and Marietta Fish Market family.

Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

I also loved that they can refill the pita bread which went by quickly. Most of the table ordered the lamb skewers which I thought was a good. I'd give it an 8/10.
