Super glad I found this place and im a huge fan. Didn't have the stomach for buffet so I got a per pound order. Lunchtime, paid around $17 for 1.35 pounds of food, all of it was delicious, and luckily I left room for two slices of sirloin right off the roasting machine. Hot and super delicious! From the buffet I got beef, pork sirloin, potato gratin, and chicken wings. All of it was delicious. I'll bring my appetite for the buffet next time. Huge fan! read more

The place is pretty unassuming and can be hard to miss in the corner of an old shopping center. Going inside, there is a Brazilian grocery store with the restaurant to the left. The majority of the staff speaks to you in Portuguese at first but I found most spoke Spanish and English as well and, all were very polite. The buffet bar has your standard rice, beans and plantains but there were various other Brazilian dishes there as well that were pretty good. They offer a buffet of just the bar and a buffet with the BBQ. The BBQ meats, they're descent. All a little on the dry side but still with a variety of different types, mainly beef and pork, but still some chicken ones. All the attending staff were super helpful with any questions or concerns. We always come here for dine in or take out. They have the best flan I've eaten my entire life-- no exaggeration. Taste sweeter compared to Mexican flan. The pork roast is always great, taste like lechon. They have many selection of high quality pastries. read more

Even during Covid this spot is up and running. Stopped in early but they gave us a great lunch. Some brazilian some just latino. Plantains, rice and beads, catfish, pork belly and ribs. So good and so yummy. Last but not least. The buffet includes pujing, which is a famous brazilian custard dessert. Guarana is in the cooler for drinks. We ate and shopped here to get our fill. Easy on and easy off of the highway. Recommend if you are looking for some tasty lunch options in atlanta. read more

Omigosh why am I just now finding out about this gem? It is definitely a diamond in the ruff. It is so easy to just drive by this place. Keep in mind this is a legit Brazilian spot, so the patrons and the workers may give you that "are you lost?" look if you're not Brazilian - but all in all, they were super friendly though. The food was BOMB ASS DIGGITY!!! Omg - that damn rice and beans and meat plate was OFF THE FRAGGIN CHAIN!! omggggggg - and it was decently priced at like $10 for the plate. The seasoning was on point, the meat was cooked brilliantly, everything was hot and fresh and just so damn good! Now, this is not some fancy place, so keep your snobbery a few notches down. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but the food is so good, I dont care if I have to park on the roof. So, I suggest, be adventurous and try this place out. read more

Don't go here. They false advertise their prices until it's time to pay then suddenly it's 3 times more than they said it was to get you in the door. If you go before 4pm they double your price apparently. They are a self serve restaurant but if you serve yourself they charge you extra for that also. But again, they won't tell you any of this until your bill comes. I called before hand to get the price and while I was there but got charged a completely higher price. I will be filing a a report with the Georgia Consumer Protection Division for their deceptive practices. read more

Food was good. But not really same level as one of your fancy Brazilian eateries. If you don't mind eating in what looks like one half is a supermarket and travel agency, and the other side being the restaurant and try not to pay attention to the dirty floors then you'll be fine. I must say through, the pretty lady who served us, I didn't get her name for she didn't introduce herself, but I did pay attention to the fact she was not only our server, but our hostess, meat cutter and dishwasher. She did so much running around by herself that I was starting to think, she was the "Mina" in Mina's Grill. Meat could use a little more flavor but you can't really complain for the amount of food you get for $9.99 as well as the great service! I think I tipped more than the bill for the service was excellent! We came in for a Groupon that was $14 for two people. They also have baked goods as well but I was too full to try any. I have eaten at this establishment twice and will be going a 3rd, 4th and fifth time the food is absolutely delicious and the customer service that was provided to me was first class if not world class . After so many good reviews, and being a meat lover, I was so excited to try this place - toss in a Groupon and I thought I was in heaven. I'll caveat first by saying that we went at 2pm after calling to hear that the lunch buffet runs until 4pm. Given that the typical lunch hour is over, some of my negatives may have been mitigated during the rush. That said, I found the lunch buffet to be very lacking. There were less than 8 items on the buffet, and only 2 that were gluten-free (which is not something that I fault them for, just sharing), and items were not being refilled. When the broccoli ran low, it was dumped into 1/2 of the rice tray, and the salad was empty for the entire time we were there. Now, I freely admit that I went for the Brazilian meat, not the broccoli, so I'll get to the important stuff. Unfortunately, while the flavor of the spices was great on the garlic beef, every single piece of meat was super well done and chewy - the pork and the beef options both. I love 'hole in the wall' places and was so hoping this was going to be one for the books, but I'm fairly confident I won't give it a second shot. If you go, definitely stick to the traditional lunch hour when items are plentiful and the meat hasn't sat too long to dry out and overcook. read more

Yum! This place is great. The sides are yummy and there is so much variety. The plantains are my all time favorite! Everything on the grill tastes great! The only thing that makes me slightly sad is that their pork belly is about 80% fat :( They also had a cute little dessert section in the restaurant!! Wow! Very pleasantly surprised. Decided to try this restaurant while in town for work. I went for dinner. The buffet was not set up but they asked if I was there for dinner. They brought me a plate of food. No menu, that's it, here is dinner........so good! So filling and your typical Brazilian food. The best part, this was the most affordable dinner I have had in I don't know how long. I will definitely come here again. The buffet has some typical salad choices and fruit but also has more substantial items as well, multiple beans and rices both with and without meats, plantains, white lasagna, and various breads just to name a few. With all the food It can be hard to save room on your plate for why you came... The MEAT!!!!!!!! While you may have to get up to get your fix you aren't waiting for your choice to come to you. Head over to the meat station and get you fill of steak, sausage, ribs, and chicken. All seasoned to perfection and cut right in front of you. My only issue with the entire restaurant is that I'm not sure exactly what meats are in the rack. So after you've had your fill of meats and juice, you're dried your forehead from the meat sweats, and watched the entire soccer game on the TV it's time to pay. Feeling nervous? You shouldn't, fantastic pricing remember? Head on up to the register and prepare for the release of endorphins you'll feel when you see your check. I love locally owned restaurants. This is a hidden gem that stands by the traditional Brazilian menu. Do not be fooled by it being a strip mall or part of a store. It is great fresh homemade Brazilian food. The meat is a bit salty. That is only opportunity for improvement that I see. read more

The meat was fresh and tender, the rice and beans were cooked to point. I'm not from GA and have recently relocated to the area but this will be a favorite to feel like home for sure. I am in town for MomoCon, and found this restaurant via Yelp! Looked at the reviews and thought it was worth a try. I was impressed by tge quality of food and service that we received. The meat was very well seasoned and tender. The elderly gentlemen working the grill was very helpful. The other side items were tasty and very filling. My only complaint was that items were not all labeled. Which left some guessing, but none of what I picked ended up being bad. read more

It's always a treat for me when I get to go to this Brazilian grocery store. Its a small store in the Mink's plaza off of Delk Rd, and yet they still manage to get a grocery section, a fresh meat section, a cafe section and an area for anything else invloving customer service needs like wiring money, selling CDs & DVDs, clothes ect. They even have their own scratch off lottery tickets! Although you can still play the GA lottery there too. I dont even dare buy any clothing from there though...brazilian women tend to be on tiny side, so I couldn't fit anything... I used to live down the street from this place and I would come here for lunch all the time. They now have a buffett, and a kitchen in the back with a fried snack area that you can choose from (and there is an area with tables that is nice a spacious that you can sit and enjoy your food). You can get all kinds of Brazilian imports like wine, chocolate, canned items, cleaning products...and so much more. The staff is always nice, and helpful (to a certain degree...I dont speak portugeese) so whenever I have a question I have to get one of the few english speaking employees that work there to help me, but I never have a problem with that. Seriously LOVE Minas. Their grilled meat is definitely the highlight. Was only in town for a few days but after trying it once I came back for a second meal the next day. Delicious yummy food, everything from their salads to their oxtail stew was amazing. I love that there were so many brazillians eating here which speaks to the authenticity of the place. My friend says that this is a very specific type of Brazillian food though, from the region where German and Italian immigrants settled and that would explain the 5 kinds of pasta they had the first day we went. The staff was so rude to us when we went. They just stared and didn't say a word to us. It's a buffet lunch and we were trying to figure out if we pay first or pay after, they talked to us in a really annoyed tone of voice. I am not sure if it had anything to do with us not being brazilian since everyone else in there spoke Portuguese but the way they treated us made it seem like they only wanted Portuguese-speaking customers. The food was also not good. I normally love Brazilian food but even the food tasted bland and old. Maybe it's cause we were treated so horribly and no one wanted to help us so that already made me lose my appetite. If 0 stars was possible, I would choose that instead. read more

I love this place, it is awesome! True, you do need to go there at the right time and pick the right meat to feast on. If you do you can't beat the CP( cost performance)! I usually go there around between 12-2ish, and from the grill I stick with the beef, and tell them I want rare. Don't forget the orange color garlic sauce. It is awesome.(Not for your breath though). For me it is awesome this way. Like I said CP is great here. If you think about most of the pretty set up shit food restaurants around town, it is great. worth a try. Oh about the attitude? I love going to Minas for their Brazilian BBQ. They have tasty meat and you can get it by the pound or get the buffet. Just make sure you go during lunch because that's when the actual grill is open. Their store is awesome too. I love getting cheese bread from their frozen section. yum. read more

Delicious!! I love the small mom and pop feeling of this place. Everyone was so welcoming. Now, let's talk about the food. So much flavor. Food was ok for the price. The meat was old really fatty and lacked flavor and was dry. S&P goes a long way. One thing that really stuck out and made me scared to eat the meat is that they cook the meat on spits which is good but when the cook added more meat to cook on the spit he placed the raw meat to cook and drip all the raw juices on top of the all ready cooked meats. Should have known what to expect by the price. Quality just wasn't there. Definitely won't find prime meats probably not choice. Ohhh well you live and learn. Hopefully Minas learns to cook with love and care for quality. Gave this place 3 stars because I believe the restaurant is able to improve I'd like to come back maybe next year with hopes that the quality has improved. If Minas had better quality meats and seasoned properly they could raise the price another $10 easily. read more

This Brazilian restaurant is tucked in a little strip mall off Delk Rd. For $12.99 you can eat all you want. Nice fresh salad bar and a good sized hot bar with lots of selections. The beans were delicious! Then you go to the grill, they have a big assortment of grilled meats, beef, pork, sausages. I love The grilled pineapple with pork. It's so yummy! The food is not good. The buffet bar has very limited options. Everything I tried was cold & bland tasting. The rice was overcooked, the black beans had no flavor, & the mashed potatoes were cold.
