We came to Goianão at the recommendation of a Brazilian friend. The place was jumping when we arrived. It was a little crowded did not understand the meat was at the end of the line and probably got too many non meat dishes. Our plates weee pretty full! Food was tasty. My recommendations: save room for the meat! Also didn't love paying the same price (by weight for meat and salads). Don't skimp on the raisin salad stuff. Food really was all good but kinda pricey ($60 for what you see in my pic). Very busy and bustling. Not a lot of space for moving around. I almost knocked over someone's plate when exiting. Food is great. Would be nice to have descriptions of the dish for us non Brazilian folks. It is not a buffet, it is Buffett style but you pay by weight. What you are looking to know: Weekends are 13.99 Weekdays 11.99 No lunch special deals, one flat cost. They have a take out option but it can easily cost you $20 for 2 lbs. Dine in to save $$$ What i love is that their simple items get changed up. So if you go everyday it won't be the same. I personally think sometimes their meats can be a bit dry and overly seasoned. But this can be a personal preference, I tend to not eat a lot of salty foods or add a lot of salt to my cooking as well. Has more seating but can get a bit crowded, suggest coming early. read more

So this morning I had a very sad experience, I decided to go get a Marmita ( lunch to go box ) which contains rice beans, side and a meat for usually about 5 $ . Today I decided to get 2 hot meat choices from a hot bar for an extra 4$ expecting nothing but the best . Only to come home to Not cold , but stale old chicken from probably yesterday because it was definitely not fresh! So I paid basically 10$ for rice and beans and 2 pieces of thin stake ( hot meat choice #2 ). Which is definitely not what I was hoping to eat this morning especially since I just had oral surgery last week . Moral of my experience don't go in the morning when the first open for 2 reasons . # 1 they give you an ugly look when you walk in being the first people in the restaurant. #2 they will probably give you yesterday's leftovers . I'll leave some pictures below , oh and I went with my sister so that's why I'm showing you both our plates so 20$ to the trash . We heard this was better than Sabor Do Brasil so we decided since we were in the area to check it out on Saturday 2/1/20 . Well upon entering no one greeted us so we just assumed we just grab any seat . We noticed most of the tables were empty and dirty with a few occupied . More than enough employees standing around . Just sayin . We grabbed a table cleaned it off ourselves then went up to buffet. No forks stocked at all . Just knives . We asked the girl standing there . We noticed a lot of food was not filled , missing . No seafood entrees at all but understandable . 3 pieces of cheesebread in basket that seemed to be there for a while . Asked the server but she said " once they run out they don't prepare any more " , they were so busy earlier . Like I care . honestly I thought she was kidding. Brazilian restaurant , no cheese bread ? Abacaxi ( pineapple) ran out of too . Food was ok to good but nothing like Sabor Do Brazil . The best Brazilian food in Atlanta without paying Fogo de Chão's price. It is homemade and traditional food from my home country. The price is very fair for a all you can eat. I don't eat meat but still have options for me without worry about the price . Also, ask for a fresh orange juice!!! Highly recommended! read more

Now days it's really hard to find a restaurant with food that feels like it's home made. Well... This one does!!! If you are Brazilian food lover, you definitely need to check this place out. Forget fancy, expensive Brazilian steak houses... This place right here serves authentic food, the real deal for real! (I'm Brazilian, so I know) The staff is very friendly and according to them the place opened about a month ago. It's all you can eat for $9.00 + whatever drink you choose. Desserts are also available. They got all types of sodas, including Brazilian ones and also freshly squeezed orange juice (my favorite). The place is very clean and cozy. I got there around 11:30AM & it was empty, within 30mins in people were coming through the door every 2mins. By the time I left the place was packed! I believe it's got a lot of potential. My suggestion is... Give it a try. The food is wonderful and you will leave full for the rest of the day! Grab to go or sit and eat. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED... I was treated HORRIBLY by this establishment. I initially had high hopes being that it's a Latin restaurant but they changed all of that within a few minutes upon my arrival. I wasn't greeted, they treated me like I was an alien (probably a 'race' issue) and the food is HORRIFIC. It was raining HARD that day... I sat down to eat and shortly after sitting, I was asked to leave by an employee of the boss. I could tell she felt horrible as she tried to explain that it wasn't her - in the best English she could speak. I would've spoken to her in Spanish being that I'm Puerto Rican but she Brazilian and speaks Portuguese... needles to say - I understood some of the crap the owner was saying while I left. Anyways, I do NOT recommend this place... it's EXPENSIVE and overrated. It's the WORST customer service I've had in a long time. read more
