We drove out of Atlanta to go eat here cause my niece wanted to try it out. You can tell that its good when you see the patrons in the dining room. It's like a comparing a Chinese restaurant with Chinese patrons- LEGIT. They have an all you can eat buffet. The items were filling and a good variety of meats and side items. I really enjoyed the meat dishes and the side of fried yucca and the dessert bar. I admit I don't know the name of the dishes, I just know they were familiar and delicious. The owner came by and asked how everything was and was very kind to assist us with utensils and taking some plates away. My kids loved it and the rolls were a hot item that they ended up running out of them-yes, we ate the bulk of them. Sides and salad bar is so-so, some of the hot items are constantly out and some didn't get refilled while we were there. The place is small but a cozy environment to eat. It's buffet style and the food is GREAT! The service is always good but it's buffet style so you mostly serve yourself. When we went it was pretty empty, and for a Brazilian stake house that is not a good thing. The meat came slowly and I could tell they were warming up pre-cooked meat for us. I asked for tap water, and they told me the tap water was not drinkable, so I had to order bottled water (which I never do). The salad buffet was not as varied as I am used to. Greeted upon entry and told we could seat ourselves. Very clean establishment even though it's fairly small. The waitress was constantly cleaning up which was good to see. Several options at the buffet. They were constantly bring out food to fill trays. You can help yourself as much as you like. I came in for lunch on recommendation from a coworker that he went the day before and loved it. I also saw a ton of great reviews for this place. This place is located in a small plaza. So you need to pay attention or you will pass it. Best way to describe this place is it's a Home Cooking of Fogo Da Cho without the fancy decor and way smaller space. They have a small cold bar, hot bar, and the Brazilian steak grill area where you let the cook know what you want and he slices it for you to grab. I went straight for the steak on the grill of course. I had the Pichana steak, Garlic Pichana, and Bacon wrapped sirloin. All of it was amazing. It was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. They even had fresh sliced kiwi, pineapples, and pear in the cold bar. The price was insanely priced at around $10.00 for lunch. No wonder this place was filling up by noon time. You definitely want to get there early like at 11am to avoid the lunch rush. I also noticed several Brazilians dining at this place. Usually that's how you can tell if the restaurant is authentic and food when the natives eat at their own restaurant. I highly recommend this place for the value and quality of steaks. This little gem in Marrietta needs more attention, but I just don't want it to get too big and lose it's charm. I enjoyed the picaña, the top sirloin, and the chicken hearts as my meat selections. The buffet has tons of delicious options, but the ones that stood out to me the most were the yellow rice, the avocado, and the little balls of bread stuffed with cheese. The staff was incredible. In the area for an event and Yelp guided us to Sabor Do Brasil. We're big fans of Brazilian churrascaria. Before moving to Atlanta, we used to eat regularly at Texas de Brazil. We've been to a few of the nicer churrascarias around town...they all seem to cater to business meetings and you're therefore paying a lot for ambiance. We just like good food. During the 10 minute drive to Sabor Do Brasil, everyone in the car was building up an appetite thinking about the AYCE barbecue meats. When we opened the restaurant doors, we were overcome with disappointment. The place was PACKED including a large constructing or landscaping crew. Knowing that we'd have to wait in line behind 25-30 people to get our meats, we walked back to the car discussing other nearby food options. Sitting in the car, something compelled me to go back into the restaurant and assess the situation again. Fortunately for me, I realized that the 20-25 people standing around the food bar were waiting in line to pay with individual checks. That meant no competition for the food. I rushed back out to the car and waved everyone back into the restaurant. So glad that we did. The regular AYCE food bar was decent with typical rice options, vegetables, salad, and a few meats. The chicken at the bar was really good. For $4 more, you can walk up to the window with they serve the meats. My favorites were the picanha, alcatra con bacon (bacon wrapped sirloin), and the frango con bacon (bacon wrapped chicken). The pork ribs were good as well but I would be perfectly happy with just the first 3 meats. Service was very good. $15 including the churrascaria is SUPER reasonable. I had originally started this post as a 4-star review. But as I finish writing the review, I can't think of any reason why this doesn't deserve the full 5-stars. read more

A Brazilian friend introduced me to this small but fabulous restaurant. The main buffet had such variety that I didn't have room for the add-on barbecued meats, even though I intended to try it all when I walked in. Pleasant surprises included the cashew juice and an unusual buffet salad made of celery, mayo, and celery seed. Both were refreshing! In the picture of my first plate, you'll see salad, rice and beans (with dried yucca sprinkled over), and other treats. My second plate included stewed beef and delicious cheese bread. I honestly wanted to give this place a try since my friends love this place, but the customer service was the worst and discriminatory.Their was ( 1 ) customer in front of me that purchased an entire platter of meat ( they were not going to make any more since it was close to closing). Two women came in nearly 5 mins after me and started in the buffet line first, then entered the line behind me. I stepped out of line briefly to grab a second tray and got back into my spot. The customer behind me noticed that the selections were getting low and started speaking in Portuguese (which I do understand slightly) asking if there was a specific type of meat left. Then I understood her saying something about "going first" and then the server laughed and reluctantly said "ok". I didn't realize at the time she was speaking about going first before me!!! As soon as the guy finished before me she jumped in front of me and claimed that I skipped her ! She had the audacity to argue with me about it . The server nor any of the staff acknowledged that I was there before her. They all began to speak in their language and sided with this woman. I know that I stepped out to grab a tray , but everyone knew that I had been waiting and that I arrived before this woman but this place is not about good customer service or fairness, they're about favoring their own kind which is discriminatory. I understand that most of your patrons are Brazilian and that's great, but to allow someone to skip me because your portions were low. UNACCEPTABLE!! P. S. The food doesn't even look appeasing . They are kind and inviting. My wife and I came here for a early dinner around 530pm. The variety of meats is once again adequate. They have sirloin , garlic sirloin, pork Sudafed , bacon wrapped : chicken , sirloin &pork. Finally they also had chicken hearts !!! We do not eat pork so the lack of a chicken item was a bit disappointing but not a deal breaker. The garlic sirloin was really good!! The chicken hearts were Ben better. I think I ate like 30. The hot and cold bar were not bad at all. Since we went during a slow period the food could have been better but when they brought out fresh replacements they were good. They have this chicken lasagna thing ....try it out you won't be disappointed. For around $15 a head for dinner the place is fair . We would come again. Support your local mom and pops !!! read more

$7.49 for lunch buffet is a good deal - and even better when it's Brazilian. Except set your expectations - this is not a churrascaria, and like Jang C said, it's not Fogo de Chao quality either. Today's buffet had just 3 meat dishes - a layered cheese & ground beef mixture (tasty & looked kinda like lasagna), baked saffron chicken (juicy and yellow so we were guessing saffron), and beef (looked like Korean bulgogi - meat was tough though). The rest of the buffet had items like rice, beans, okra, cheese bread, mashed yuca, salad bar, etc. Food overall tasted pretty good, esp. for $7.49. Based on everyone's reviews, it looks like the items change daily. Service was very friendly. Only concern was where to put our dirty plates b/c while the servers were great about refills, they weren't so good about picking up the dirty plates. This place is an all you can eat for one price, $9.79 Mon-Fri $10.79 Sat/Sun. There are meats in the buffet but they are lower grade meats, like tuna salad, meatballs, beef of a low price cut, and chicken. There really is enough there to full you up with that! However for $3 more you can add the grilled meats from in back. There is about 6 of them, maybe 7 at most. There is a sign hanging that is long changed and it should be removed about the meats in back. Its very confusing to leave that up as the front sign is right for $3 and the sign in back which is wrong talks of weight and getting a ticket for each meat trip. Crazy! Ignore that sign. I did not opt for the meats in back as I didnt want to overeat and there was more than enough in front. The day I was there they had a light lasagna with lots of fluffy eggwhite/cream? It was quite good. The cheese puffs are good, and also you will find more you like for sure. The collards were way oversalted but that might not be a daily thing. I would say the food is a three star, just average, but I opted to give them an extra star as they are very nice and work very hard keeping those tables moving and taking care of customers. My family and I visited this restaurant after a long day at a convention in town. This rating is deserved because we thought the food was absolutely phenomenal. When we first walked in, it seemed like most of the customers must be regulars, because we were kind of looked at like we were expected to understand how the buffet works and where to sit. To clarify: There is a buffet that is a base charge, and there is a separate meat section that is an additional charge. (The base was wonderful by itself!) And, seating seems to be seat yourself, but we needed the clarification. One particular employee was friendly to us in helping us to understand, but most other employees seemed standoffish.
