Eu vim aqui só para o bolo de ameixas e gostei muito, mas o lugar estava muito cheio. Também pegue o bolo de pamonha e gostei. O estacionamento é terrível e o serviço não é ótimo. Talvez eu volte durante a semana. I really liked the plum cake with doce de leite, I also liked the tender corn cake. Parking is terrible, even the municipal parking was full. The service was not great (maybe they were all overwhelmed-- too busy.) I had to order to go because the place was full. I might come back during the week to try again and update this review.

Now, I don't know too much about Brazilian culture but being Portuguese myself I absolutely had to try this new spot in Kearny. I went in on a Saturday and they were absolutely packed, not one seat was open. Decided on getting a few things to try for take out. The workers behind the counter are very sweet and attentive for being so a absolutely busy! Let's start with the sweets - brigadeiros galore. They're like a small chocolate fudge ball coated in sprinkles. They traditionally come in a chocolate flavor but this cafe has a ton of options. I tried the chocolate and the churro and both were great. Also got this cloud like bread with a sweet topping and that was super fresh - everything they make here is being pumped out by the hour since they've been so busy so you can always rely on a fresh product. They're cake slices are around $7 each, that was probably my least favorite item. It wasn't as fresh as I'd like it to be for the price so stick with the smaller pastries. Their pao de queijo is good and fairly priced. It's definitely a different recipe than I'm used to be it's still great. They can make them into sandwiches with chicken and cream cheese spread too, which was a fun treat. The tapioca wrap knocked it outta the park for me. It was something I had never tried before. It's like a mochi consistency with either sweet or savory filling. I got a chicken filling but will definitely try a sweet one next time, like Nutella and strawberries! Overall everything is great, I hope they stay as busy as the day I went because this is a great new addition to the town.

Wanted to love it here. The space is open and inviting. The food gets a 3. Service, sadly gets a 1. They are friendly but the disorganization is unacceptable. We waited for something and were told the wait was because it was being fried fresh. They asked if we wanted the check. We told them we had already paid and reminded them that we were waiting for our "freshly" fried food and asked for it to go. Got it and checked it as soon as we walked out. It was cold. Fried hours and hours ago. First and last time.

Heard about this opening up in Kearny! Was looking forward to trying the drip coffee - however, when we went in it was so packed. We decided to try the empanadas, chicken balls, and guava patties A couple of recommendations they should have someone in the front to direct- everything was a mess. Looking forward to going back

Do not come here if you don't speak Portuguese. My order was completely wrong and it's overpriced.

They had a wide variety of food, all ranging from beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and some vegetarian options. They had an extensive wine menu, and my boyfriend joyfully enjoyed a glass of wine. I got the brazilian fried chicken, which was extremely flavorful, and i was surprised there wasn't any breading on the chicken as typical fried chicken does. I much preferred the no-breading style, which I think is the Brazilian way. I would have preferred a boneless dish, as there were quite a few pieces with bones, and it was pretty oily at the bottom of the dish. It came with two very large sides, and totaled around $25. 100% would recommend this dish, but I do think at a lower price point, this could make do with just one side, instead of two, as the main dish was quite large enough to fill me up. My favorite part of this meal was the garlic butter bread that they provide for free. It comes out extremely fresh with lots of chopped up garlic, which is my favorite part of garlic bread. It was a great way to start the dinner off. The service was great and the waiters were extremely attentive. They regularly checked up on how we felt about the food and filled up our drinks. The restaurant was pretty empty while we were dining, but the space was laid out very nicely and the decor was beautiful. Would come again if it wasn't so far!

I had the shrimp in garlic sauce which was fine. My daughter had the chicken cutlet with Yuca fries. The cutlet was seasoned well but the fries were no bueno. He said the quality of the meat was subpar. The parking was also TIGHT but the attendants had better customer service than the waitress. The only highlight was the sangria which I usually pass on because I don't like sweet drinks but I was pleasantly surprised.

We did the rodizio, and everything was absolutely perfect. The meats kept coming and were all cooked beautifully. I'm a big fan of lamb, and theirs was outstanding. One of the things I really appreciated was that they were happy to bring specific cuts again if you asked -- great service and very accommodating. The meal also came with rice, beans, plantains, and pico de gallo, which were all delicious and complemented the meats really well. We also ordered mashed potatoes on the side, which were fantastic. We brought our own birthday cake, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They cut it for us, came over to sing, and really helped make the celebration feel special. We had such a lovely time. Fernandes offered excellent Rodizio service, but the dining experience was negatively impacted by excessively loud patrons, poor wine selections, and a general lack of flavor in most of the meats. The ribeye was the only standout!! In addition, the cuts of meat I was being served were extremely thin, but my date's cuts were very thick.. It appears that they give bigger portions to the men. The temperature inside the restaurant was also very muggy. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable. While the staff was attentive and friendly, the overall atmosphere was overwhelming due to the loudness, making it difficult to enjoy a conversation or have a relaxed meal. Probably won't be back.

This is a typical…read moreself-service buffet type of restaurant which is very common in Brazilian communities in Newark-NJ, Astoria-NY and many other locations. You make your plate, weigh and pay about $10 per pound. My feijoada plate from the attached picture had a little less than a pound so I paid around $9 which is a great deal especially if you compare to other restaurants in the area. The restaurant is somewhat small, simple, but there are enough tables for everyone even during lunch hours. Staff is friendly, they give you privacy to pick your food without anyone bothering you, food is tasty and the variety is ok. I wish they had Brazilian barbecue similar to other restaurants in the area but I can't really complain because the food and price were great. Compared to other Brazilian restaurants in the area this place has a big advantage because the process is very simple. Other restaurants such as Casa Nova, Cantinho Mineiro, Delícia de Minas also offer a buffet option but their process is very complicated. They have a prix fixe option for a set price and then if you add meat it's a different price, if you want to take something to go you need to pick a prix fixe container for a different price. It's just too confusing and I don't really like that, hence my preference for this Brazilian buffet restaurant. Don't expect any luxury or lots of variety. This is a practical restaurant offering food for a fair price. I definitely recommend it. Note that there's just street parking and the Wilson Ave area tends to be busy so keep that in mind.
