I enjoyed the contemporary design of the restaurant and the food was amazing. I had a dish that I normally don't make and don't see it in restaurants across the US - beef parmigiana. The meat was very tender, and the tomato sauce was well balanced without a lot of acidity, which I liked. It's a good size and you will probably take some home. Luis, the owner, is very proud of their vinyl equipment and says that the music selection of the DJs is very diverse and upbeat. They had a wide variety of food, all ranging from beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and some vegetarian options. They had an extensive wine menu, and my boyfriend joyfully enjoyed a glass of wine. I got the brazilian fried chicken, which was extremely flavorful, and i was surprised there wasn't any breading on the chicken as typical fried chicken does. I much preferred the no-breading style, which I think is the Brazilian way. I would have preferred a boneless dish, as there were quite a few pieces with bones, and it was pretty oily at the bottom of the dish. It came with two very large sides, and totaled around $25. 100% would recommend this dish, but I do think at a lower price point, this could make do with just one side, instead of two, as the main dish was quite large enough to fill me up. My favorite part of this meal was the garlic butter bread that they provide for free. It comes out extremely fresh with lots of chopped up garlic, which is my favorite part of garlic bread. It was a great way to start the dinner off. The service was great and the waiters were extremely attentive. They regularly checked up on how we felt about the food and filled up our drinks. The restaurant was pretty empty while we were dining, but the space was laid out very nicely and the decor was beautiful. Would come again if it wasn't so far!

One of the staff members let us sample the meat he was serving on the sword to another table, and it was incredibly juicy, tender, and flavorful. That experience made us want to return for the full Rozilio experience. Overall, it was a wonderful birthday dinner.

For dessert we all had the Serradura (Portuguese Sawdust Pudding) which was made with a meringued cream, whipped cream, and crushed cookies mixed together. Very delicious, not too sweet and not too filling. All around there was brick, stone and solid wood. I felt like I was in what I imagined a restaurant in Portugal would be like back in the day. The servers were friendly. I gives me the sense that it is a good place to have a range of events - from a business lunch to a celebratory party. There is lots of space in the restaurant with different rooms. One room seemed specifically set up for large parties whereas another room was set up like a typical restaurant. Our party was able to relax and enjoy ourselves without ever feeling any time pressures from the staff. It was quite an enjoyable experience.

We've even dined at Churrascaria Plataforma in the city and I can unequivocally say that the food at Boi Na Brassa has more flavor and very juicy. The meats are very tender and not dry at all. Everything was seasoned well. I rely heavily on Yelp reviews. Was very reluctant since the place only garnered a 3.5 rating but also didn't want to spend over $50 for AYCE meat which is why we decided to check it out anyway and I'm glad we did. They have an extensive assortment of meats and cuts. All of them being well seasoned and flavorful. It just proves that you should never judge a book by its cover or in this case a mediocre rating. The gauchos were very attentive too and they offered a variety of included sides that were equally tasty.

This time our particular craving was meat so naturally rodizio was on the table. My brother recommended Brazeiro because he had a good experience there and the price was very reasonable. Technically there's a parking lot but it's hilariously small. You'll likely need to find street parking when you dine here. We were able to snag a table for 4 pretty quickly. The sides are good but not great, but that's not what you come here for. They have some meat add-ons that cost extra and they were intriguing but not enough for us to order them. The meats were delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. The server asks how you like your meats cooked prior to the service starting. They've got most of the typical cuts for rodizio and it's finished off with cinnamon-coated pineapple. Brazeiro just might be the new go-to for rodizio.

It is a small restaurant, but it is nice and intimate with smaller tables. We were seated immediately after walking in. Fortunately, the hostess informed us it was still happy hour, so we placed orders for a caipirinha and a mojito. We ordered the Rodizio Experience, which comes with access to the salad bar, fried sides, and tableside carved meats on skewers. Our drinks came, and the hostess asked how we liked our meats cooked, and we went with medium rare. The drinks were tasty, and definitely worth it at only $6 during happy hour. I tried the potato salad, Caesar salad, chickpeas, and feijoada off of the salad bar. The feijoada was especially good. The fried sides included yuca, croquets, plantains, and pao de queijo (cheese bread). All were done well. At first, i thought that the staff was skipping our table for the Rodizio Experience. But then I realized the skewers are dedicated to the table. They brought out sausage, chicken legs, garlic steak, steak wrapped in bacon, bottom sirloin, picanha, tenderloin, and beef rib. The skewers were all cooked to medium rare as I requested, and seasoned perfectly! Once we had all the meats, the hostess returned and asked us if we wanted to have another round of any particular cuts. Once we finished our second rounds, they offered us grilled pineapple dusted with cinnamon, which was also delicious. I would definitely return.

The meat selection is very similar to the other rodizio restaurants in the Ironbound, but I will note that they did not have beef rib. I would have scored them higher, but I found most of the beef options to be kind of tough. My favorite meat options coming around were the lamb, chicken, and chicken hearts. We ended our meal with the grilled pineapple covered in cinnamon and grilled cheese with honey. Both were delicious. Parking is a pain the area, but at their price point, I'd go again.

You can also add barbecue meat, chicken and other Brazilian churrasco. The food itself was good but I was surprised by the price. My wife and I paid around $25 each (no drinks) and excluding tips which is too much for a simple weekday lunch. We didn't even put that much food and our total bill was over $50. If we had had drinks, our bill would have been more than $60. When we go to other buffet restaurants such as Copacabana in Astoria, Queens, we pay around $12 each for the same amount of food including bbq. Brazilian buffet is another option in Newark much cheaper (they don't offer bbq meat though). Newark needs more simple Brazilian restaurants where you can grab a quick lunch buffet style with no frills for less than $15 during lunch time. Stop with the "all you can eat" and all the fancy stuff and leave the rodízio for the evening hours. I won't be back for lunch because there are many other choices such as Hamburgao and other Brazilian restaurants where you can have lunch for less than $15.
