This is my favorite and go to Peruvian restaurant in Elizabeth. Food is amazing and portions even better. The ambiance and entertainment is great. The customer service is also fantastic. 10/10 recommend always.

Place has a fishy smelly smell when you walk in. They gave us stale corn and tostones for the table instead of bread. I asked what was the difference between the steamed and the fillet and she didn't mention anything about breading. I thought the fish would be pan seared. Surprising the yuca was good and we didn't respect it fried.

I had the ceviche de camaron and corvina. The corvina ceviche was my favorite. I love that they had latin music playing :)

Very nice sized food portions and the service is always quick and friendly. They have a stage for live music as well.

This isn't a super fancy restaurant but it is big and the food is delicious ! The portions are very generous therefore most plates can be shared with 2-3 people. I ordered a ceviche mixto with pescado frito and it was so much seafood, I even took some to go. The grilled octopus was tasty with a kick to it. The service was great every waitress was very attentive and everyone made themselves available to you. The price point for the portions and seafood is very reasonable compared to other seafood restaurants.

What can I say! My FAVORITE to go Peruvian restaurant in NJ! I have not had a good Peruvian ceviche around here and this place changed it all for me! I travel 45 mins away to come to this pace and enjoy the delish to die for food they have but also the atmosphere. Its filled with Peruvian live music, people and you feel right at home.. The drinks are strong and have lots of variety. My to go drink is pisco chilcano ! Thanks for making authentic Peruvian food!

Defiantly recommend!! 10/10 I live in NY & I heard good things about this place so I decided to try it out and WOW amazing. The service is excellent; they all help each other out & make sure everything is okay. I had Choros a La Chalaca for an appetizer and the spiciness was on point. I ordered a pitcher of sangria and they waitress made it fresh, came out super tasteful. For entree, I had the Jalea & Ceviche mixto, the portion was insane, it's great for 2 people maybe even 3, definitely took some to go. I would come back even though I live in NY, the travel is worth it. Thank you for a great time.

Super authentic and locals spot. They serve Peruvian food and have live music. The music is Spanish and during soccer events this place gets packed! Good crowd and family friendly. They do have a full bar and serve beer buckets. Prices are $$ but most of their dishes are shareable!! I love coming to this place because I would always hve left over and enjoy if the next day. Customer service isn't the greatest here especially when it's busy. You'll be flagging down waiters to get things but the food is so flavorful and filling!! I would recommend this place if your looking for authentic tasting Peruvian dishes. THEIR CEVICHES ARE A MUST GET ITEM. This place isn't fancy and parking is a bit difficult.

We've been wanting to try this Peruvian restaurant and I was actually disappointed. We ordered a whole chicken, salad and fries and the chicken was not fresh. It was hard and dry. My sons really liked the fried rice with shrimp and chicken. The best thing was the entertainment (singer) which was good. I was surprised that they added the tip to the bill. The waitress threw away one of our leftovers that we wanted to take home and an appetizer was never bought out to us. I will not be going back.

Upon walking in, there's a strong aromatic smell of hot Peruvian dishes, either lomo saltado, or chaufa. There were several tables occupied by locals for lunch when I arrived. The architecture of the restaurant is a tad strange, although homely in its decorations, the restaurant being split in two halves by walls. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, full of smiles. The menu consists of seafood dishes (stewed and steamed fish, breaded, jalea, ceviche, soups, etc.) as well as other typical Peruvian dishes such as saltado, chaufa, bistec a lo pobre, and more, excluding pollo a la brasa. In addition, they have a whiteboard with daily specials. I went with the ceviche de pescado as well as a cup of chicha morada. The chicha was excellent with strong sweet flavor, topped with fruit. The ceviche was of great portion ($13), a nice crunchy but cooked fish taste, balanced by the lime and onions. It came with corn and a steamed sweet potato on the side, as is typical. It was served in a shallow fish-shaped dish, allowing ease of drinking the leche de tigre. As you can see in the picture of the ceviche, there is much attention paid to the variety of spices and herbs to the dish. The fact that the dish is very green, and there are fine chopped hot peppers are good signs! I look forward to returning to try some of their many hot dishes next!

Great environment, lots of food portion for the price and good service!…read more We had a layover and wanted to eat good food and saw this restaurant on Yelp. Decided to try it and when we arrived it was empty with street parking. It was a Tuesday night and pretty cold which is why I'm guessing no one was there. Lots of seating options, bathrooms were clean and they had a big screen of music playing. The waitress was very friendly and took our drink orders and food orders right away. We got the chicken and anticuchos along with chicha morada. Food came out fast and the plates were huge. Waitress was very attentive and brought out all the sauces, extra napkins and was on sight in case we needed anything. Food was great, cooked how we asked for it and potatoes were not burnt. I was happy with my order and experience and recommend this place.

As the name suggests, they specialize in pollo a la brasa, rotisserie chicken cooked over charcoal, typically accompanied with fresh cut french fries and salad. In addition, they offer daily specials, and a full a la carte menu. Perhaps most importantly, this is a place that cares about its sauce selection. You'll feel like a true painter armed with the plate as your palette. When I received my meal, the waitress even double-checked to make sure all the sauces were all full. Their chicken comes with 3 sauces (also called cremas or aji): - the yellow sauce - huancaina - the green sauce - aji verde - the brown/reddish - olive sauce, salsa de aceituna
