I went to Mimi's at 4:30 is on a Thursday evening. Salon was busy but not slammed. Henry did my pedicure. Thank you Henry for not being in a hurry and being very attentive to my wishes. Love my pedi and your foot/leg massage. I know some clients like the nails and pedi done at the same time but truly if I am not in a hurry I prefer separate and that was what I got. On to Emily Thanks you sweet girl for being so gentle with my post operated wrist. You were so kind. I love my nails too. I made my next appt with this salon before I left. Thank you. read more

The manicurist was very sweet but my nails are jacked up!! Not one nail is straight! They are sooo thick and lumpy. She put my tips on crazy crooked and I told her about it and she kept arguing with me then finally she redid them, and they are just as crooked!! Not happy at all. read more

In Sept 2019 my husband had a pedicure at MiMi's that turned into what was diagnosed as a fungal infection. He sought medical treatment once he realized the problem. After a culture the doctor discovered it wasn't fungal, it was MRSA. He has been on countless antibiotics. Now 3 years later he is still fighting MRSA and going to wound care to try to save his toes. They have had to remove bone in 3 of them, he lost the top half of one toe and may lose part of two other toes. The treatment is excruciating. So NO, I would not recommend this place! I gave this 1 star, only because I had to in order for this to post. read more

I have used this salon for years and have been satisfied. But they have increased their prices multiple times and begun charging for services that were previously not considered a separate service. The clencher for me was charging to remove my old shellac before the put on my new color. I have checked with other shops and have not found anyone else that does this. After many years of patronage I have decided to move on. read more

Great people. I drive 20 mins to this location passing many nail salons on the way. Worth the drive

The staff are wonderful and attentive at Mimi's. Philip and Kim always do an excellent job with my nails and the salon has a great hometown vibe! read more

This is the first salon I have ever had 2 colors of acrylic for french tips! The little gal that took care of me was Donna. She was delightful and very conscientious. I will be back before I go back north. I'm going to have to find another salon that does it the same way! LOVED it! read more

I went to get my nails done and a pedicure done, manicure came out amazing no problems only one cut but that's because I moved. However, the pedicure left me with an infection on my toe where she had cut the nail at. It's a nasty infection and don't recommend the pedicures but do recommend the nails as they came out very lovely. I never leave reviews but see it to be important as I have to drain the infection from my toe and have a hard time walking around read more

Love coming to this place! They are always friendly and do great work! I have come here several times and only been unsatisfied once. When I brought the issue to their attention it was fixed immediately. No attitude or rudeness at all. When I got my nails done somewhere else and came here to get them fixed, they didn't charge a fee for takeoff. In fact, I've never been charges a take off fee like at other places. BONUS!!! read more

I have been coming to Mimi's for the last 4 yrs and I have never had an issue. The staff and owner are super friendly and I'm always satisfied. I don't get acrylic nails I just gel nails and never had an issue. If you are in the area check this place out! read more

Very kind people, but poor quality of service. I was reluctant to come here because of the poor reviews but I was in a pinch and just needed a shellac manicure. It really looked ugly in the end. Very very kind people, but I wouldn't return just because of the quality. read more

This place is very cheap, but you get what you pay for. At first I thought I was being too hard on this place, bc I normally go to Bay Colony to get my nails done. But by the time this experience was over I knew I need to just pay the extra money for better service.. First thing I noticed was the buffer and files were used. So I thought well maybe they soak them in barbicide or something after each use. They don't. The lady put them right back in her box when she was done. The lady was really rough, she would slap the foot rest when she needed me to change feet. She got irritated when I didn't understand her. She didn't act like she even wanted to be there. I mean no one likes work, but when you work for tips you should be nicer. She asked if I wanted designs and I said no, bc the designs looked like my 10 year old drew them. They were horrible. I should have stopped at the toes, but I got my nails done as well. She cut me twice. She rubbed the blood off and then poured alcohol on my finger. It was very painful! She painted my nails very quickly and I had to ask her to redo a nail because some spots barely had any polish on. She snatched my hand up and added more polish. While I was sitting there I was looking around and the place looks like it has NEVER been cleaned. One of the girls who had no customers walked over to an empty chair and took a nap!! I was like is this really happening?! The final straw was when I got home I was scratching my leg and my finger felt funny so I looked and my nail polish peeled back! It looked like it was a STICKER! I had to put top coat under my nail polish to try to make it stick to my nail. Also my nails are already chipped and worn down. I haven't even had my nails done for 24 hours yet. I will never go back. read more

Do not go here ! The salon was nasty inside , I originally went in for a pedi-mani but because they were understaffed I settled on just a manicure which was half assed. I had high hopes that the area had finally gotten a decent nail salon just to be disappointed. read more

WARNING - stay away from this place unless you want trauma. The place is dirty, congested and the ladies don't know anything about nails. One girl put my acrylic on so thick it looked like a bird sh** on my finger !! After I spoke up and told them let me leave the bigger lady kept grabbing me and said "no I do for you" I said I just want to go. Then she made the nails so long and so thin they broke the next day. The issue here is technique and listening and they have neither !!! Look at the cuts on my cuticle. It was like that on 4 fingers and severe pain. This encounter traumatized me and enraged me !!!! read more

Excellent services & very fantastic with the pedicure service. I like to come back there again!

My sister and I went for a pedicure and had the worst experience possible. The person giving me a pedicure did not know what she was doing, I had to tell her what to do. After taking over a hour for a basic pedicure, the owner pushed her away and finished it. The owner of the salon gave my sister a pedicure and insulted her in front of everyone there. She thought she was being funny but embarrassed us in front of everyone in the salon. I will never return to that salon again, terrible service read more

The employee, who was going to do my nails, expressed frustration because I did not know the color I wanted when I walked in. The environment was shockingly, and scarily hostile (the employee). The employee, who helped me, was aggressive, confrontational, and rude. She put on acrylic nails (that popped off in the car once I left). It was uncomfortable especially because the anger was unprovoked. Very odd and unprofessional for a business. read more

Very disappointed in customer service. Le was excellent with my pedicure on Wednesday [no appointment ]. Next day, with appointment, she was busy and i was asked to wait 15-20 min. I usually work with Maria, but my granddaughters have used Mimi .... both are amazing and the entire team is cordial and welcoming. I'm mixed here. The place was clean and very friendly, the owner even gave me a thing of diapers because I'm super pregnant, lol. The experience was great, really relaxing but the actual painting of my nails ruined it. The polish had visible layers and peeled right off. It's like as it was drying, shrunk on my nail! Leaving gaps, very annoying. I had her just give me a clear coat and left. read more

Love the pedicures and acrylics! Everyone is always very nice. Clean, relaxing space.
