I came in for a mani and pedi, and the experience was okay. I just wasn't impressed with this place. The salon itself is small and not as spacious as some other nail places. There isnt much seating so if you're waiting for a nail tech I'd imagine you'd have to stand and wait. The décor is cute and festive, but the layout feels a bit cramped. It's fine if it's not busy and you don't mind it like that. I just thought for the amount of clients they have it felt a bit cramped. It also didn't scream luxury inside to me. It was more of a chill vibe and more intimate. My pedicure was fine no complaints with that. However, my manicure didn't really match the photo I brought in. Once I got outside, I noticed some imperfections in the shaping and application. For the price, I expected better. The staff was nice, but for the results I received I'd rather go elsewhere. read more

Gave one star because the technician was very nice. The work was not good. They used the electric file on my natural nails without using the grit band. Straight metal on my natural nail. It was making my nail bed hot , thin, and uneven in thickness . The guy kept hitting my skin with the file and he kept saying "oh sorry I hurt you" . Then a lady came to apply the gel polish. The polish is is uneven, and bumpy, some areas she flooded the cuticles and some areas she didn't get close enough to the cuticle so it already looks grown out. I just had them done yesterday and they look a week old. She tried to fix the flooding of the cuticles by clipping with cuticle nippers and filing. All this did was make the polish jagged. read more

Had been going here for years, but the quality went down once Holly left and seemed to be a management shift and some younger boys may be in charge now. The cheap files they use now are so rough and bumpy, like rocks on a stick. Very uncomfortable and they are nicking our skin and making us bleed a lot more. The last time I got a toe infection and it took two weeks to heal. read more

Everytime I come to Galaxy I leave with somthing being wrong. There's always details in the nails that are missed and I leave unsatisfied because if I try to correct the workers they start being rude or impatient. Both of the women working with my nails and toes today were rushing through the process hurting my natural nail bed and not even bothering to do a full take down for my previous set. I asked for powder to match both and the associate still went with paint . I know it's hard working these jobs but even when I was respectful and nice I was still given no response or just short ones. Do better! read more

Ive been a customer here for more than 3 years, and ive had some problems here and there but Never too serious till this past Friday. Went in for a classic pedicure the staff member who was assigned to me was completely rude and disrespectful. I kindly asked about an ingrown I still felt (which she didnt check and i in fact still have), she got mad and after that she had an attitude throughout the entire service, I've previously gone here before and to other places, Everytime I have a question they kindly check, along with other comments in a language they thought i wouldn't understand, staff I understand people have rough days but being disrespectful to someone who was paying for a service and wasnt rude to you is not okay! read more

I live in the East End but I make the trip to Pearland just to come to Galaxy Nails. It's the best nail place I've ever visited! I first tried it because it is near my sister's house. Now everyone in my family comes here! My even mom travels all the way from Galveston. It is worth it. The staff is nice, the massage is strong, and my nails always look great! Hands down best place in the greater Houston area. Also, they are now closed on Sundays so the staff can have time with their families. I wish more places did this for their employees! read more

It's been a while since I was here last but my rating stays the same! I came in for a pedicure and dip. I was able to choose my dip color from a wide selection and waited maybe 5 minutes to be seated for the pedicure. Yen took her time with my pedicure and I really appreciated that. Jolie started my nails and she did a wonderful job! I was worried that my dip was gonna be glittery but she reassured me that it wasn't a glitter color. My nails came out exactly how I expected! My daughter spotted this salon on one of our visits to AJ's and said we should try, so we checked out the pics on Yelp and were impressed but we never made it for service until we kept getting hit or miss service at our regular spot. So finally we tried and we are so pleased, staff not extra pushy of extra services. They work quickly but very efficient and they listen to your asks/requests and they help each other they keep an eye out and ear opened to make sure the tech servicing you understands or heard your request and is getting it right. We dont have a favorite tech yet for mani or pedi because everyone has been good and that's rare to find. The owner agreed that my daughter didnt need acrylic just shellac and told her it would look nice and last long. It looks gorgeous and she likes them. (I'm a little old fashioned about some things and acrylic/fake nails is a No especially if you're under 18) They have regular customers who set appointments and can get busy certain days and times but we have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to begin service. If you are here in Pearland area or close by you should definitely give Galaxy a try you won't be disappointed read more

I originally had a 1:00pm appointment but had to ask to reschedule to 3:00pm and they were accommodating so that was a nice startAt first sight this place is nothing fancy and new, but I'm happy to say none of that mattered. This place is small & quaint and I liked how most the techs seemed to know their customers. This usually tells me they have been coming for awhile/frequently so they must like this place. Amy did my nails and did them well! She took her time and gave my nails plenty of attention. The dip wasn't too thick and she trimmed and shaped my nails the way I wanted. (She asked what shape; some techs don't). For me it's the quality of work from the tech I want so if that's what you are looking for I recommend this place. read more

Came in a Monday in the day and waited for over 40 minutes for a manicure. The staff was friendly and quick once they got started. Only thing I didn't like was they didn't wash their hands in between customers and they don't ask you to wash yours. Very very very good costumer service. I had made reservations for a party of 6 and when we got there they cleared one entire side of the salon for us. They make sure they give you what you pay for at reasonable prices. We brought a bottle of wine and they provided cups and chilled the wine for us. Even after they were done painting our nails, we sat and talked and they did not try to rush us out. Very impressed! This was for a bachelorette party and the bride had a great time. Got a full set done there less than two weeks ago. Immediately I noticed rough patches that had not been buffed. Also acrylic was uneven and oddly shaped thick in areas and super thin in others. My cuticles weren't pushed backed so it looked like I needed a full two days after getting them done. Old product must have been used because they are breaking and lifting from after the first full week with them. Typically a full set will last me 3-4weeks before needing or looking like they need TLC. Very upset with the state of the set and not to mention their matching polish and gel didn't match at all two completely different shades. read more

Extremely clean, friendly staff, luxurious menu of nail treatment options and most important...excellent quality of work. I highly recommend the lavender spa pedicure.
