They are indeed RACIST HERE! I came here at 9:30 am on a Tuesday morning NOT ONE CUSTOMER was there, I only came in to get a full set only. There was a lady at the front door and a lady in the back by the pedicure station. The lady at the front door desk asked the other employee a question in their language I could tell by the inflection of her voice and then she ask me to come back because she had 3 appointments and she didn't say when to come back. So while I was getting my car worked on I waited an hour outside to see who all was coming in and a beautiful Caucasian woman (Allison) and her two beautiful daughters came in and I walked in a short time after, to my surprise Allison was a walk in?!?! Got a great new year dip powder (sns?) manicure here on 1/2. They were very friendly and welcoming, and I only had to wait about 10 mins before they were able to seat me. Once I was seated, they gave me a lovely neck warming pillow. Tracy did my nails, and she worked so fast yet carefully. I am very happy with how my nails turned out. She said she worked in Friendswood before this new shop, and definitely had experience. It wasn't very busy as they just opened recently, so they only had three people there working. They asked for a lot of feedback, like how I liked the salon - very pretty, modern, bright! They also offered wine, mimosas, soft drinks, etc. My reason for only 4 stars is that there were some bumps in the service - the first woman I spoke with misunderstood my request for dip powder, and I almost ended up with powder/overlay nails if I hadn't asked Tracy as she started the service. I had to pick a new color, but it wasn't the end of the world. Also, the $40 dip powder service did not include any manicure services. No cuticle cutting, no lotion, no massage. I had to ask for cuticle cutting, which was $5 and wasn't able to happen until the end of my dip service since she had already started (leaving a little more space between cuticle and polish). I am currently living in Chicago, so maybe this is typical out here and I was just not used to asking. Either way, probably all issues that will be smoothed out with a little more time. Lastly, they're running some kind of special where you get 20% of your service cost back in the form of a gift card. Not sure how long this will last, but I got $9 towards my next service which is very nice! read more

I've been to techs who can do my nails and pedi very well within an hr. They take 2 hrs avg. Go on a slow day or during slow hours because on busy days it can be hard to get attention without set appt. I learned this the 1st time I tried going on a Sunday. I asked for an 11:30 am appointment this morning it was confirmed to be here at 11:30 I get a call back saying can I come in earlier but I was busy at the the Time so I just said "sure" got there at 11:30 bc that was my scheduled time even tho I said sure to coming in earlier I was busy at the moment. I finally got time to try this place out, & i loved it!! When I first walked in, I was greeted & asked what services I'd be needing. They had a great variety of shellac colors which were color coordinated so it made it easier to find what I was looking for. I was also offered a soft beverage, water, or mimosa. Then, once seated in the massage seat, the water was warm with rose petals, an orange & lavender powder. There was a liner to help prevent the spread of bacteria from previous customers which is very important! Tracy did a great job on my pedi. The deluxe pedi included a shoulder massage that felt amazing for quick shoulder pain relief. Meanwhile, Ann worked on my shellac mani. She took her time & did a great job. She carried conversation well. Once finished with my mani, she finished with a relaxing arms & hands massage. Overall, I'd give this new place a 10/10! The ambiance was relaxing with spa music, no TVs, comfy seats, neck warmers, & the best part was the customer service! Not once did I feel as if they were rushing their work. Do not come here if you want your nails done right. I tried giving them a chance because my mom likes it there, but clearly it was the worst decision I've ever made. My nail tech at my other salon was off for the week so I had no other choice but to try them out. Never again. The acrylic nails that I wanted were so curved they looked hideous, then they tried to blame my nail beds for being "too curved". I've gotten good straight nails before so I knew they were just trying to come up with some dumb excuse to send me away. Then the lady started to cut the acrylic nails off without even trying to ask me how she could fix or help the situation. It was the worst service Ive ever got from a nail salon. I should've known they weren't a good nail salon because there was barely anyone there. They have the cheapest version of acrylic nails. The staff is very rude, unprofessional, and very careless of their customers. It was surprising because my moms nails always turn out very nice, so I knew this is not how their nails look or how they treat their customers. The only nails that they know how to do are short acrylic nails. Don't consider yourself a nail tech if you don't know how to do a variety of nails. I also agree with some of the comments about their staff being racist. Everyone who was getting good treatment just happened to be Caucasian (white) and me being Mexican who got the worst service. Every customer should be treated the same. Sadly they missed out on a good tip. Never going back here again. read more

First I asked that she do powder overlay on one of my big toes because it broke to which she responded "It's not that bad you don't need it". I politely told her, no, I'm asking for you to do this. She kinda of had an attitude then but I at first brushed it off. After doing the powder overlay, I could tell one side need to be filed down a little more so I nicely asked her to do so. She then got a massive attitude and was beyond rude to me telling me it looked fine when it absolutely did not. I will never be back, her attitude and they was she treated me was very inappropriate. I went to this place about 6-7 months ago. I walked in and didn't get a greeting, and I felt as though they didn't care about my business. They were a bit busy, but please say hello or leave. I walked in and not one customer in the place. Approx 3 pm. However the person at the reception desk was on the phone, did not acknowledge me by eye contact or a greeting - almost like I was "bothering" her phone call. I asked her how much their pedicures were. I was testing her professionalism. She said something but I didn't understand her, still no eye contact - so I said I'm sorry - I didn't hear what you said and she did this three times total. She abruptly blurted out 26.
