Stumbled upon cute nails on my way home today and I believe I've found my new nail place! As soon as I entered i was greeted by owner, the place is small but clean and welcoming. I got a powder refill and decided to go with pink. After chatting with Peter he wanted to show me how I could elevate my day to day pink with some CAT EYE. I fell in love instantly. My nails look perfect. I can't wait to come back. read more

I am new to Friendswood and needed a manicure and pedicure. The atmosphere here is calm and relaxing, not at all like the noisy, chemical-smelling salons I'm used to. The staff is extremely polite and attentive, focusing on delivering a quality service rather than just rushing to get the next client in. I was impressed by the high-quality products they use, and my gel manicure is absolutely flawless. It's refreshing to visit a place that treats cleanliness as a priority while still being incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone who values a pristine salon and relaxing environment! The prices are good too. read more

Owner started having a conversation with me about politics and he definitely did not like my answer because every 2 seconds he was cutting my skin with the damn cuticle cutter. So don't speak with the old Asian guy or you'll walk away with multiple open wounds he's just gonna throw some random liquid on like he didn't give you multiple wounds. He was getting by way too heated in a conversation he started with me. Aggressive as hell read more

Currently on the hunt for a new salon.. Umm, stopped by as a Walk-in around mid-day on a Thursday and they asked me to become back because they were busy... But there were only 2 customers there... I get my nails done every 2 weeks and I've tried several salons and trying to find a place that does my nails the way I like without asking.. I was looking for a nice, clean nail salon when I found out this is where my friend, an infection control nurse, gets her nails done. I figured if it is good enough for her, I would give it a try. I sure am glad I did! I had one of the best, most relaxing mani/pedi's ever! There was no continuous chatter and laughing in a foreign language that makes you feel like they are making fun of you. I took my oldest daughter and we both had a great experience. I have already booked a return trip for myself and both of my daughters. Also, the prices are very reasonable. I called yesterday afternoon to inquire about their hours and they asked me if I want to set an appointment for the next day (today). I was hesitant to set a time because I was working during the day but after discussion, we agreed upon 9:30 AM. I also told her that I would also call in the morning as I was coming over. I called five minutes before arrival and my appointment time only to come in and be told to wait 15 minutes. That's perfectly fine if you don't have a day job; however, that is unacceptable if you do and discussed a specific time AND called prior to arrival. read more

So, when I requested alterations to my nails (I truly wasn't happy with how they looked), I did feel a bit of pressure to find a simpler design for them to do instead (my new tech said she only had 30 minutes to help me). I admit, they are skilled in shaping the overall nail, and my design choices may have been too complicated, but I wish that uncertainty was communicated with me! So, in the end, one of my nails actually didn't get a top seal on it, so the gems fell off instantly, even though I was trying to be so careful with them. One nail had hair & air bubbles, a few of the french tips just had strangely uneven thickness in the corners (felt like it shouldve been a crisper angle in the very corners). I had work immediately after, and I already felt immensely guilty for asking for a redo.. so didn't feel appropriate to keep speaking up. All in all, I had saved for this appointment for months because I wanted the best for my engagement photos, but I understand I may have held too high of standards, and felt like I had almost wasted my money on a pretty anxious experience :/
