Why 5 stars? Because this was possibly the best pedicure I've ever had. --- --- --- I'm a man who loves pedicures, what can I say? And I specifically love this one. Chalk this one up to another Erica N find. My mom lives nearby and this is her go-to place. I recently just wrote a review for a restaurant right down the road that was shockingly great, especially considering its physical location (deep in the suburbs.) Well, look at good ole' Friendswood becoming a beacon for great, local businesses! We went with the deluxe version, with the elongated leg massages and what not. This is a must. I never wanted this part to end. The ladies at KT Nails are not only really good at pedicure-giving, but they're all super sweet as well. I will be making it a Christmas tradition to stop here annually! read more

I've been in the area and tried many nail places and have to keep searching for places because either my nail got infected, hurt me with a tool and scrapped off top layer of nail, making me bleed, or just plain rude. This place left a good enough first time impression that I'm leaving a review because I will be back. They where nice, clean and I really liked how she helped me with choosing a color and made suggestions. They are reasonably priced....hope the shellac last as long as supposed too. so hopefully this will be my new go to spot. ***Edited to add shellac lasted about a week. read more

I have been going to KT nails for years because of their good prices. Every time I get the one male employee he cuts my skin or causes an ingrown toenail. This time I sat down and to my disappointment that one guy started working on my feet. I didn't want to make a scene but I so wish I would have somehow politely asked for someone else. I immediately asked him to be very careful and reminded him that he cut my skin the last time. Well obviously he is not capable of doing a gentle, safe, pain free pedicure. He proceeded to poke me so hard I jumped. He pulled out so much cuticle that my entire toe in painful the next day. Unfortunately due to this one employee I'm going to change nail salons. I've seen other bad comments about this guy so I don't know why they don't fire him. He must be the owner's son. read more

My friend and I recently went here for pedicures. We were sat right away and they turned on the cold water. I asked them to warm it up and they did a little but it remained cold. 30 min later someone came to start my pedi. 3/4 of the way through my pedi they finally started on my friend. The person working on my toes drew blood with the cuticle nippers on 2 out of 4 toes before I insisted she stop. It's the next day and my toes are still sore and bloody. read more

You know that saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Well that's how I feel about this place. The first time I went here for a shellac manicure, I picked out a fabulous sparkly red color as it was around Christmas time. The nail tech looked at the color I chose and when she went to go get it, she took a long time. Finally she came back and said to me: if it's alright with you, I'm going to use this color. It's basically the same color you picked but the brush is easier for me to use. It turned out to not be the same color, but I still liked it. What I didn't like was the attitude that it was more important her her to be happy than me to be satisfied. The second time I went, a young man did my shellac manicure and he did a great job. The third time I went, I took a friend with me and the entire staff was not only rude to us, but they were bossy as well. I couldn't move my arm back without the nail tech yelling at me to move it closer to her even though my entire arm was stretched toward her. They cut my skin in three different places and the shape of my nails was atrocious when I left. Also, the tech smudged my polish and instead of fixing it, she painted over it to where there was a hard knot underneath the next layer of polish. Absolutely unacceptable. When I brought this to her attention, she had the worst attitude about fixing it. I will never go back. read more

Do not go here! I went here one day for a pedicure and the girl cut my skin around my toe and left a nasty bruise that was there for 4 days. Then the next week I went to get my eyebrows waxed like I always do.. And she took half the skin off my eye lid. It hurt pretty bad the wax was super super hot and my face felt like it was on fire! I am beyond angry and will never recommend kt nails to anyone and I will never return. read more

I recently moved to Friendswood so I was hesitant to try a new salon. I starting going here for an eyebrow waxing which went great. I was in and out. But I went in for a wax (eyebrow, lip, and chin) and pedicure and I had a horrible experience. They were not busy so I was helped quickly. They asked if they could wax at the same time as my pedicure. I agreed. A woman waxed and rudely commented "Eww. So much hair. You want to see?" Uh, no I do not. I know I had hair. That's why I went there; to pay to have it removed. Thanks for embarrassing me in front of everyone. When she revealed the results. She took off too much. My eyebrows were almost gone. I wanted to.l cry. But I didn't want to make a scene because my feet were still being worked on. The man who did my feet cut my cuticles so short he made me bleed on both feet. I didn't notice until my feet were done. He still used a harsh, alcohol that burned on my feet. He even commented, "Oh, it burn?" I will never go here again. read more

I read the reviews and decided to check it out and I wasn't disappointed. I believe I got Lisa and she wasn't much of a conversationalist, which is ok with me, and overall she did a good job. They have a special Monday - Wednesday for solar nails for $27 so I left paying $30. The atmospher was nice and clean and I was able to get them done during my lunch break. My only complaints would be that I didn't notice that one of my nails was crooked until I left and they're shorter than I wanted. But I definitely will be going back. read more

Don't waste your money or time! I was really hoping I would like this place and went off the great reviews here.........my shellac manicure is uneven, bumpy in places, the old shellac was not taken off all the way so a few nails look really weird, my cuticles are now dry and cracking which has never been a problem I've had before, my thumb split near the side and is very sore. Biggest complaint: SEVEN out of 10 fingers were nicked when she trimmed my cuticles, 4 were bleeding when I was still there. Now there's scabs all over them and they are very sensitive. I wish I could have something positive to say but my experience was NOT a good one. read more

This is a great place!! I go every two weeks for my solar nail refill. Lily is my technician, and she always does a perfect job. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my nails and have gone to lots of salons in the area. This is by far the best. I live in Pearland and make the drive to Friendswood for Lily. read more

This was a pretty nice little spot. Overall she did a great job on my toe nails. However there really wasn't any pressure when she was rubbing my legs and feet. There wasn't much scrubbing to remove dead skin even though I had the scrub and wax done. My toes look great but feel the same as before I went in. :/ read more

They are cheap but very bossy and rude except for a couple of people. I do not like the guy doing my pedi and I HATE they want a blank check or cash. Also as far as clean I have not ever seen them bleach in between customers like they should. read more

Their service is good but, even with an appt., you still have to wait. Ask for Lindsy. She's the best one they have she is careful & cleans down to the bottom. This is is the busiest nail salon in the area. They either add more people or extend their area. read more

It was a bad experience for getting a mani/pedi. The tech did not greet me with a hello or a how are you. Pedi water was too hot, turned my legs red like a lobster but tech was irritated because I said it was hot, to please cool it. She was very rough with cuticle pushing. She kept trying to sell me a brow wax job. I had to say no three times. I would not recommend this place. read more

Me and mom went in to get her nails done today. The staff was very good and show exceptional customer service. They were willing to help and answer all questions my mom had. My mom has very sensitive nails and they were very patient with her. I been to other nail shops and they were not as nice and show good customer service as KT Nails provided. I spoke to other ladies who were getting their nails done and they were very satisfied with their service and would not go no where else. If you ever in the Friendswood area or Webster area this is the place to get your nails done. read more

I have never felt so uncomfortable and a nail salon. I went in on Tuesday for the Monday through Wednesday $27 manicure pedicure special. I know that French manicure cost extra but I was repeatedly pressure in to get the upgrade to shellac nail polish for even more money. When I refuse that I was pressured to upgrade to another kind of nail polish that would cost $5 extra. Upon the declining that I was told I would have to wait till after my pedicure to have the manicure done unless I wanted to pay extra fir the special polish. If my feet were not wet in the tub with someone working on them at that moment I would have gotten up and left! I think they could tell I got annoyed so they went ahead and in my manicure at the same time as my pedicure although they tried to convince me to add three more additional services in addition to the two they rudely pushed on me earlier. Not only was the customer service terrible and I felt constantly pressured to spend more money and have additional services I also did not receive good service to begin with. My manicure did not even consist of a hand massage with lotion! I left with my hands dry feeling and chalky from the nail polish remover. I have never left a review before but his was the absolutely worst nail parlor I've ever been to! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I have been a customer for 9+ years with going to the same two ladies- Lilly for nails and Tina for pedicures. I've noticed over the past few months the prices for the exact same service has gone up each time. They don't follow the prices on their board. TODAY WAS THE LAST STRAW. I went to get a refill of pink powder and shellac polish on top, the last time I went in for this refill service it was $18 for the pink and $7 for shellac color. Today Lilly tried to charge me $35 and I simply said I'm not paying that the last time it was $25. She then blew up and said its always been this price which it has not. I stated per the board it's $18 for pink powder and $3 for gel over powder. The owner then stated "that board is ten years ago prices". So why not update your board?! Poor Tina did nothing wrong, she always gave the best pedicure and unfortunately I will never go back. It's sad that after 9 years I now have to find a new nail shop. read more

things felt very rushed. as soon as i sat down in the chair for a pedicure my nail tech states, "i'll be right back. i'm going to go finish my breakfast". wtf?! the water never was hot enough even though i asked her to warm it up. my tech did wash her hands before she touched me, but i saw many techs go from customer to customer without washing their hands. and, my tech wore gloves when she started scraping my feet, but none of the other techs did! i was never offered a beverage while other customers were. there were a lot of inconsistencies. i don't know if i'll be back. read more

I've tried several nail salons in Friendswood, but this is by far the best in my opinion. I have been here numerous times for a manicure and pedicure, and my feet are cleaned so good. They spend a good time removing excess cuticle and calluses. This place has lots of good quality polishes to choose from, including OPI, Orly, China Glaze, and much more. The color always lasts for 2-3 weeks. I've had three shellac manicures done from here. I noticed that they used good brands for their regular nail polishes and shellac. My shellac three times have lasted well over two weeks without chipping. Also, I've always loved having artificial nails done at this place because they have a wide variety of colored powders to choose from. They are really detailed and careful while working on your hand. The salon is always clean and everyone is so friendly and provides not only a great service, but a fun and friendly environment. Highly recommended!!!!! read more

Took the entire bridal party here before the wedding and every single person was pleased with their services. I can't believe how wonderful everything turned out, all the staffs were super nice and friendly. Prices were pretty reasonable and the service couldn't be any better. I went in with acrylic French tips and I asked for a refill but with just one different color powder instead (which was easier for her to do than a refill for a French manicure) and I asked her to clean up my cuticles. Very disappointed in this place. I have been several times and this last visit i noticed black spots in the white tips. I went back to get the two nails that were discolored fixed and after sitting for 45 min and others being taken in front of me,i finally just left. No one seemed to be interested in fixing a mistake that was made. They were just interested in taking new customers where they would make more money.WON'T BE BACK. read more

I have been going to KT Nails for several years. I am generally happy with my experiences there. Things seems clean, they make an effort to be friendly, I can get in quickly, they are welcoming and quick. I love Tina, she is very gentle in her trimmings, etc. I like many of the nail techs, including the young men. I have had shellac manicures a few times - one lasted with zero chips for three weeks, others for 2 weeks or so. When my grandgirls are here and they want polish, I won't take them anywhere else b/c I know this is a clean and happy place. read more

Been here twice and will NEVER go back!! BOTH times they cut my fingers and nails and drew blood! I had scars on my nails that had to grow out. I kept saying "Ouch! That hurts!" And the nail tech showed no concern at all. Just said, "Oh. That hurts?" And continued to cut both my cuticles and my nail beds.
