Took a good look at my pedicure a couple days after coming in for a quick basic pedi with shellac and see my toe nails are even completely painted? Practically all of the edges of my nails are not painted. And what's even more frustrating is that I tipped on top of this service. I guess once a place gets a little bigger their employees forget about service quality. Sigh. Guess it's time to find a new salon.

I've patronized this place twice for simple pedicures because it is really close to my home, and SH…read more146 is still a mess. And, for the most part, I'm glad I did. PT Nail is located in a lower end strip mall, as in it's older with (cheaper) rent. It's the type of strip mall where you can shop at a dollar store, by cheap cell service or even replenish your vape collection. This place fits the bill of such a shopping center ... collapsible side trays with plenty of wear and tear; lighting that feels florescent; and nary an offer of a mimosa. And that's mostly fine with me. Though I have received excellent pedicures on both visits -- at a great price -- I was a little disappointed on my first visit when I had to wait about 30 minutes because the pedicurist was on a break, despite that the sign on the door indicates that walk-ins are welcome. I called the second time to ensure that someone was available, and all went quickly and smoothly upon my arrival. Again, both pedicures were basic and really good, and I plan to return.

I observed the women practicing proper cleaning methods, such as separate boxes of clean instruments for each customer and sanitation of tools and polishes before and after use. I explained to my nail technician that I recently sustained a cut to my finger (I used non verbal communication here considering I told multiples jokes at this point and she had not laughed once; I came to the conclusion she did not understand English very well). She was very careful when working with my finger. I told her I had a liquid band aid on my finger to keep it clean but she just looked at me like I was crazy. Their massages are excellent! When you get a manicure, the nail technician massages your hands, arms and shoulders, when you get a regular pedicure, the lady sets a timer to massage your feet for ten minutes TEN MINUTES (a time which is generally exceeded). Finally, enjoy an eyebrow massages with a temple/ brow massage. I hope my review helped and hope you decide to visit Nasa Nail! Enjoy!
