It took 4 shellac coats to get the white/pearl color I was looking for on my nails but he listened to exactly what I wanted and made it happen! My boyfriend got his first pedicure and loved it. The most excruciatingly long and most expensive basic pedi + shellac that I've ever had. Ever. I arrived at 11:50, on my lunch break and asked for a shellac or gel pedicure because I was in a hurry and didn't have time to wait for it to dry. I didn't leave until 1:40... 1 hr 50 min later. The manicurist spent over an hour trimming, filing, and scraping my toe nails. I had no polish on my toes and my nails were an average length. After 1:00 she began to polish my toes. No lotion, no scrub, no massage, nothing. She put my feet under the UV light even before ever applying the clear base coat. She then applied 3-4 coats of a reddish orange color. I've only ever received 3 when I've requested it or the color was very light. When she made a mistake, she wiped it with her nail and then smeared it on the top of my foot. Intentionally. Like, I'm going to wipe my nail on this towel and now on your foot. My foot, people. She also set the UV timer to 3 minutes. 3 minutes?! Between each.and.every.coat. At most, I've only been under the light for 2 minutes per coat, but I think the norm is more like 90 seconds. At that point I stated again that I was in a hurry. She then proceeded to put lotion on my heel. My heel? So I tell her that I'm in a hurry and not interested. She then starts to do my other heel. Again I tell her no. After all of this they charge me $50. $50! For a 1 hr and 50 min cutting, scraping, and excruciatingly repetitive and detailed polish. At this point I was thinking 2-3 stars. After all, her performance isn't Management's fault. But when I was told the total, I went straight to the owner to confirm, $50? As in 5-0? Yes, he said. For no lotion, no scrub, no massage? Yes, he says. She tried to give you lotion, but you refused. Are you kidding me?! First of all, a woman who arrived 15-20 minutes after me received a full spa pedi and a mani + shellac and was done before me. I indicated that I had been there almost 2 hrs. Big deal, apparently. But what really gets my goat is that the manicurist waited until the pedicure was OVER to start applying lotion. Seriously, it was post polish. I've never experienced that. Not ever. Isnt it widely accepted that lotion/scrub/massage comes before polish? I had even pulled my pants legs down when she started polishing because by that time, I assumed she was giving me the basic, bottom of the barrel pedi. And come to think of it, does it really matter that she offered and I declined? I was never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted. All I received was an obscene amount of cuticle cutting and nail filing. Who cares that I never received it. Isn't that the point? That I never received it? As you can probably imagine, I will not be returning. read more

Vogue Pro is the best place ever!! Nguyen and Vicky (owners, husband and wife) and Anna (best Pedi tech ever!!) are awesome at what they do. Yes, the place is a *little* pricier than some of the salons you'll find in strip centers all over the place, but they are definitely worth it. You have never had a pedicure massage last as long as the Signature Pedicure's massaging lasts at Vogue Pro, and the girls actually take their time and want to make you enjoy yourself and walk out with perfect nails. Much more than can be said for most places around the Lake. Faithful and loyal customer every few weeks!! read more

This place is amazing. I am 21 and I have been going here since I was about 14. The staff is so friendly and they do such an amazing job. I feel like I am visiting family every time I come in. My nails normally last about twice as long as they would if I were to go anywhere else. I come home from college sometimes just to get them done. They are always willing to work me in! The staff is professional and very well-qualified. I've been going to this place my whole life. I do recommend that you make an appointment because there is a set amount of employees, and if they are all busy, you may have to wait. They do a great job on the nails of course, but also do excellent eyebrow waxing and facials. The price is fair, and the service is excellent. They take their time and they don't cut corners. I've had been in the salon several times. I used to go in the mornings and every time it was good, I was pleased. The staff are friendly but the owners, these are rude and they look at you as if you are asking them for a favor. The owners which are a couple (I asume), they wont do your pedicure, they will not even greet to you. Anyhow, their staff are very good, gave me the best pedi and mani massages, liked how they did my shellac. Very pricey $80, which I paid, because I Iive close by and it was convenient for me. However, their client it is mostly caucasian and I am spanish. The way they treat me it is completely different compare on how they treat their "regular" client (btw like I said before, I was a "regular" too). The past and last time I was there, they left me with the acetone on my nails for 30 mins, they helped clients who got there after me (3) total. I walked out with my nails broke half and messed up, no color on my pedi and they still charged me $28. Never in my life felt so discrimanate, nobody even talk to me after I address how my nails were so dry and my skin was all wrinkle for all the time leaving with an acetone, I also said that I could not wait any longer. Instead they started talking in their language and will look at me just to tell me it is $28. I paid and walked out. I am taking my money to somewhere else. RACIST PLACE EVER! So funny coming from orientals tho. read more
