I should have walked out the second I sat down. I was in for a refill, and needed my nails shortened a little, while keeping the stilletto (NOT almond) shape. She immediately cut every nail back to the finger and then looked up at me and said "Oh, too short to do that shape. you need a full set now." She then grabbed the nippers, grabbed my pinky, and peeled the nail BACKWARDS. I yelped and snatched my hand away. She said "Oh okay" and set my fingers in the dissolving solution. She then proceeded to take 20+ minutes to remove my nails, with the cuticle nippers. The first photo is of the scratches and punctures she made, the middle photo shows the totally different shape and lengths of my nails. and the third photo is what my friends have dubbed my "Club Thumb". I asked her repeatedly to fix my giant thumb as the powder was over the actual skin and not even on my nail. I paid like a chump. But i'll never be back. read more

Just received a very nice salon experience here. Came in on a Saturday, 3 ladies were already waiting, and yet they got to us within 5 minutes. 40 mins later, I'm leaving with a smile on my face, nice elegant nails and a positive experience. Missing a star for the appearance of the salon and limited parking space. Will deff be returning to this location, maybe with a Pre-made appointment :) read more

The work itself was ok but took a very long time with the person doing my nails (dip-I was up sold on this) kept walking away. But what really frustrated me was I had a flyer in the mail that promised complimentary drink and heated neck wrap and even though I mentioned it twice, once to my nail tech and another time to the manager I was completely ignored. I'm updating my review due to an extremely disappointing experience. Two weeks ago I came here and had a pedicure and a full set with powder. Came in today for another pedicure and a refill. However I told the gentleman I didn't want powder and wanted French tip. He had me soaking my nails for at least 15 minutes (honestly it may have been longer). When he was done with my pedicure he had me take my nails out and literally my nails melted away. He then filed the debris off my nails. I then asked I had more length prior to me soaking my nails and they melted away. I then asked are you guys going to have to do another full set because I came in wanting a refill. He asked the owner in Korean and who knows what he really told her. She looked at my hands and said we'd have to start all over. I'm beyond upset and disappointed because this place was convenient. At this point that's what I get and will go back to my original salon in Pasadena. read more

I came in for a full set for 20 dollars and the lady put in 25 ok that's fine the other lady looked at my nails and charged me 35 , 10 dollars more of midsize nails that's horrible read more

I have been going to this salon for about a year. The hospitality is great and the tecs are the best. I will not go anywhere else. The job that they do is fabulous my nails last a long time (of course I have to get fills) . And they really listen and pay attention to the customer. read more

I am male and have been coming to Fancy Nail Spa last few months. Staff is courteous and attentive. They do a great job. Deena does an amazing arm shoulder neck massage. She did a manicure on me once and knows what she's doing....very detailed. Myle does my pedicures....she is amazing. Get the hot stone massage. This place I tried on a whim and am glad I did! Some of the reviews I read were not so good but this has certainly not been my experience....I highly recommend them. Wine is served and TVs usually tuned to sports channels at least when I come in. Give them a try....you'll be pleased. read more

I currently do SNS nails and this salon does them so I decided to give them a try. The woman who did my nails was so rude! She said my natural nails were crooked and kept asking me what happened to them. I kept telling her there is nothing wrong with my natural nails and to quit asking me. Of course she didn't listen and kept asking me over and over and this irritated me. After she filed my nails I noticed there were two nails that were crooked and asked her if she would fix them and she said yes. She didn't of course so I mentioned to her again if she would fix my nails and she said ok. Of course she didn't so I ended up grabbing the file from her and filed my nails myself. I did a way better job filing my own nails than she did. Then she asked me if I wanted a design on my accent nail and I said sure and asked if they had a display of designs. She brought me the display with all the designs on it and I picked one design I really liked and asked her if she could do that one design. She told me she couldn't lol. Seriously????!!!???? So I asked her why she even suggested it and then she just got quiet and started talking to the other women in the salon in their language. Soon after that another woman came up and said she would fix my nails if I had a problem and I told her that I had fixed my nails already. Asked them if they would give me a discount because of the woman's rudeness and they just smiled and told me it was full price. What a joke! I'll NEVER go back to this nail salon again. It was dirty as well and they were rude. Plus the woman who did my nails was on her phone for most of it and when she wasn't on the phone her phone kept going off every 30 seconds. Tried this place since I recently moved into the area and was disappointed to say the least. I walked in and was rushed when I took some time to look at different nail colors. And by "time" I mean about 5 minutes. I actually brought in my mother to treat her to something...lesson learned though! They cut her during the pedicure and she ended up with an infection in your foot from it, which is pretty much your biggest fear when going to ANY nail salon! Also when I was getting my manicure done I kept asking the lady to make sure she covered the edges because when getting gel done it can sometimes bubble up and the edges get missed, she was annoyed and kept saying "yes I'll fix it." Except I walked away and the edges looked mangled...this stuff lasts two weeks so when it starts to even remotely grow out it looks like a toddler has done it. Lest I not forget the main reason you get gel nails is because it's LESS harsh on your nails than acrylics, so when she took off my previous color and then sanded it down to the point I said it was painful because she had literally gone all the way to the nail bed I was pissed! She didn't even sand it down evenly so now I have these weird ridges that make my nails uneven! I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE...I am probably more pissed that they cut my mother and she got an infection! Also because I am a consistent mani/pedi girl (every 2 weeks like clockwork) I feel like I can honestly say that this was a horrible place. I hate shopping around for new places, but can easily scratch this place off my list. I have never had an experience like this and picked this place since I didn't see any negative reviews online...wish someone had warned me though, which is the ONLY reason I'm writing this! GO AT YOUR OWN RISK...as in YOU RISK A FOOT INFECTION, sanded down nail beds, uneven looking manicures and an overall CRAP of a job! read more
