I got my nails done here less than 2 weeks ago and all my nails with out being funny fell off. Also, I went there with an specific picture and idea of what I wanted and the guy that did my nails didn't follow at all what I wanted at the beginning my nails ended up looking animal print and were supposed to be more like a pumpkin as we were on spooky season. I went to this place because I usually go to Citris on League city but they were full already, but I never before had all my nails done and week later most of them falling off and rn I don't even have nails and I'll be a week in Saturday, I wanna add that I work in a computer so it's not that I'm doing anything that could possibly cause them to fall that quickly.
Went in to get a pedicure and gel nail set for my wedding this weekend. I wanted a milky white color for a timeless look but wanted to do a little something different for the shape. So I decided on almond shaped extensions. I was a little worried about how they would come out, but Ray did a fantastic job. He found me the shade of white I was looking for and a matching nail polish for my toes. Ray was meticulous and gentle the whole process through. 10/10 work! The overall vibe of this nail salon is very relaxing. All the staff are very friendly and they keep things very clean. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nail spot in the area.
Very disappointed. I've been coming her for months now, at least 5 times. Always thought they were a little pricey, but I enjoyed it usually. Not this time. Everything was rushed, I got a full set and the tech practically burned me multiple times. Pedicure was rushed, hardly worth it. When I went to pay, I got told my full set was $55. I asked, "I don't mind spending the extra $10 I would just like to know why" the receptionist said "for the shape, it's an extra $5." I said okay, I get that but what about the other $5? She said "for the length" I said look at my nails they're not long. She said "did you get your cuticles trimmed?" I said no. "She said did you get precious nails removed?" I said no. She said "it was for length." Like, please look at my nails. Look, I know it's only $5 but it's the fact that I'm a repeat customer and can only afford to do this every 5 weeks... it's the principle for me. Have brought multiple guests in, none of us will be returning.
Always friendly, clean, and professional. Very welcoming environment. Got an amazing full set by Elvis, it was perfect. Best place for nails!
I had a wonderful experience here, I didn't grab nail artist's name but he did an excellent job on the ombré and shape, also very relaxing and the lady who did my eyebrows was phenomenal. The shape was awesome and she took her time.
This place has definitely gone downhill is the worst way. First off every time I try to make a appt they are never ready for you when you walk in even when I made an appt which is the whole reason for doing that is so you DONT have to wait. They made me and my mom wait FOREVER. The guy and girl who did my nails were rude and were acting like they didn't want to do their job, the lady who did my feet was squeezing my toes WAYYY TOO HARD LMAO. Horrible experience Every time I try to give them another try. NEVER AGAIN. I recommend Anthony Vince Nail spa at the mall instead.
Very nice place and always happy to come back although a little bit pricey. I do acrylic designs here and Vince is always great and respectful. Compare to other places I usually go (midtown) this place is slightly on the higher price but is very convenient so it's okay with me once in a while to pay that extra ($150.00 last time with basic pedi eeek) Maybe a customer rewards program would be nice.
These women did amazing on my nails. It was my first time in this salon & I will definitely be coming back to them. I showed Joanna a picture and it came out just like I wanted. They both paid attention to detail which is very important to me when it comes to my nails. Pedi by Julia ($50) & acrylics by Joanna ($70). Those are average prices I pay at any other salon as well, I feel like they did WAY better than any other salon. I can't find a flaw in either my nails or toes. Thanks again ladies! Happy holidays!
Horrible service. I honestly wish I could give this place no stars. I booked an appointment a week in advance for my wedding mani pedi, and I requested a certain nail artist. When I arrived at my appointment, the receptionist sounded surprised that I had an appointment at all and asked me to wait. The receptionist had zero customer service skills and looked like she hated being there and that helping me was a bother. She gave me to a random nail artist and not to the one I requested. The woman starts man-handling my hands and nails and is rushing me through the service and was so rough. Buffing so hard and twisting my hands super quickly. Some time into the mani, I asked if she knew that I also booked a pedi (because she sat me down at a table not at the pedi chair). She said "oh, you want a pedicure??" I literally booked a mani/pedi A WEEK IN ADVANCE. They put me in the pedi chair and I swear the mani lady got even rougher. Her work was sloppy, fast, and just disappointing. I even told her these were my WEDDING NAILS. The pedicure lady starts doing my toes and everything is fine until she takes a sharp metal tool and starts jamming it into my left cuticle area on my big toe over and over again. I know. I can't make this up. This goes on for about 15 seconds and then she notices me in pain and flinching and proceeds to tell me that I have "extra skin there". Anyways, she ended up making me bleed enough to have to spray it with alcohol and dump a clotting powder on it. She then gave me the fastest/least amount of effort "massage"... actually I don't even think I can refer to it as a massage. She just kinda ran her hands up and down my feet super fast. I barely got to soak in the cute foot bath, and by the time she dunked me in it was room temp. I will never make the mistake of coming here again. This place has lost me as a client permanently. Please, don't spend your hard earned money here.

Had dip on 6/26 had a chip a few days later went back. They repaired it now as of today I have three chipped nails I will not return. I've never experienced this at any other salon read more

I'm a regular at the Citrus Nail Salon on Nassau Bay, and I usually won't go anywhere else unless I have to. But today, I went in for a fresh set, and they were closed for renovations, so I decided to try their sister store in Webster. Honestly, I wish I hadn't bothered. I walked in, showed them a picture of what I wanted, and explained it. To my knowledge, she understood but she had an attitude the whole time. It felt like she was rushing because she wanted to go home, even though I came in two and a half hours before closing. She was supposed to put dip powder on, but instead, she started applying shellac to my natural nails. I told her I didn't want to see my natural nail underneath, and she got really angry, saying I was wasting her time and changing my mind. I explained that all I wanted was for my nails to look like the picture; I wasn't changing my mind at all. Eventually, the receptionist had to step in because the nail tech was being completely unprofessional. The receptionist was super nice and understanding, and really sticking up for me. In the end, the nail tech refused to do my nails, saying she was done and wanted to go home, claiming they couldn't do what I was asking because they didn't have it. The receptionist corrected her, saying they did have it; I just didn't want it see-through. When the receptionist told her they had what I was asking for, she went and picked a color that was nowhere near what I wanted, almost like she was mocking me. I felt really uncomfortable by the end of it, and honestly, that's not the kind of experience you want when you're spending over $100 on nails, especially when they're trying to do something completely different from what I asked for. Then the tech got rude with the receptionist, telling her to take $10 off my total and that I'd have to come back another day, even though I told her I couldn't because of work. The receptionist didn't charge me, and I left with nothing on my nails. Honestly, the whole experience was just completely frustrating and unacceptable! I will not be going back. I asked for her name, and she refused to give it to me. She even went as far as telling the receptionist to do my nails as she refused it. It was just a really disappointing experience overall, and I can't believe how unprofessional she was. If I could give them lower than a 1 star, I definitely would. The only thing that saved this place was the receptionist. I walked in with white tips, asked for strawberry nails, and the last photo shows how I left--no design, just took off my set and made me leave with only my natural nail). read more

the foot board injured me because the nail tech was using it too hard and too fast they should re evaluate their product so nobody else gets hurt or infection Still sent me to the front to pay ! Are you kidding? read more

My stars are for Emily who did do a very good job on my nails, which is fairly straight forward - shellac. The staff in the entry/check in were not welcoming and the facility was not doing any social distancing that I could tell. In general the facility did not appear clean and tidy and that's the main reason I will not return. Pros: Emily did a great job on my nails Cons: Not clean, towel laid down seemed dirty and dingy, chairs, trash cans, tables, everything in general just not a clean appearance at the time I visited. The color options were in a basket that was messy, disorganized, and unsanitized. It would be helpful to have the color options where you do not have to handled or at a minimum be wiped down between folks looking over all of the options. Shellac for nails $45.00 read more

They did a wonderful job, I am so happy with how my nails turned out. Not only did they listen and correct anything I needed, they were so patient and detailed. My artist bella was so precise with her work and was very skilled with what she was doing. She took a lot time into my set. Well let me tell you I came in for a mani and full set I requested square toe nails as round ones usually result in a hang nail. She insisted I could not get them done that way although I have so many times in the past if I have broke a nail in the past they simply added a tip or filled it with acrylic. She continued to round them, and didn't even even my cuticle out, it is clearly lopsided. And then as I made my complaint she spoke in Vietnamese something extremely rude. Then the man walks up to do my nails and he asks me for a picture which is of stiletto nails. Again he says he won't make them so sharp so they come out almond! This place will pressure you to do whatever is easiest for them and has no respect for customers. I really wanted to like this place but did not do it for me. I made an appt for 1pm and the nail tech didn't start working until 1:17pm (similar to other reviews looks like they overbook). When I was seated I was never offered anything to drink. The lady that was doing my nails did an okay job, she never went back to clean out the nail polish on my skin. Their customer service is not great either, agree with other comments about the front desk. When I was being charged the lady never offered if I wanted a receipt and then when I said thank you, it was dead silence, I was at least expecting a your welding or have a nice day, guess that's too much. Will definitely be trying out a different nail salon. read more
I tag along every time the misses go get her mani and pedi. I go for the pedi with the hot stone massage, very relaxing! From the receptionist/staff members everyone is always friendly and helpful. I have always had a wonderful experience here. FYI they're expanding to the Friendswood area as well. Come check them, they have multiple locations besides the Bay Area one. read more

Decided to have a last minute pedicure with the girls! Had to get that red polish for Asian New Years! As always, very relaxing and it was just nice to have some me-time. Clean nail shop (which is great because of all this covid stuff). Clearly saw disinfectant wipes around the store (yay! Here's to cleanliness due to covid). Saw other customers there too but everyone was separated from each other. (Again because of covid) The receptionist was really polite and attentive when we walked in. Nice way to start off the visit. Pedicure was relaxing. Our nail techs spoke with us often and asked how we were doing, how was the water, if the temperature was fine for the towels and paraffin, etc. We had gotten a complimentary bottle of the Emit Lotion as well. Overall, this visit was enjoyable and fun for me and the girls. read more

I've been coming here for a while now and it's time to leave a review. Citrus is my nail salon of choice. Even if I try out other nail salons in the area, I always find myself back here. This place is posh and luxurious which is my cup of tea. It's clean, aesthetically pleasing, and the feng shui is perfect. When I bring my kids, they like to indulge in the complimentary candy bar. Sure, their prices are on the higher end, but the service is top-notch and makes up for it. Being so, every tech that has attended to me has been fantastic. Awesome nail salon! read more

Not going back to this place. I requested for an almond shape on my natural nails and what does he do? Trim the hell out of it and gives me a round shape. Not only did he gave me a round shape but he rushed the whole session and I walked out with 5 scrapes around my cuticles. This is also suppose to be dip and already 30 minutes of me leaving it looks like it's about to break. Also, service in the front desk area was not welcoming. read more

This place is always so accommodating and treats us like royalty. The technicians are always very friendly and do an amazing job with both my husband's and my nails and toes. We will always choose Citris for our mani and pedi needs. read more

Absolutely love this place! It's so clean and nicely kept. The ladies are very nice. I never felt uncomfortable or awakened. The products they use are nice as well. I was extremely impressed! This beat all the other nail spas I've been too. Prices are slightly higher but it's worth it. You get two free drinks with your purchase. I got the regular Manicure and the Deluxe Pedicure and LOVED it!! My boyfriend got a deluxe men's pedicure and they did such a great job. Rita and Tracy were the bomb!! Thanks ladies :) read more

I have been coming to this nail salon now for the past 3-4 years. They are absolutely wonderful and treat me so kindly. Every set (I normally get dip or shellac)I get is wonderful and it lasts up to 4 weeks for me. Highly recommend coming to this nail salon! read more

First time here! Let the front desk know she didn't really care, now I work in customer service so I at least would've said welcome lol... got a mani/pedi didn't get shellac how I regularly do at my regular place and I'm glad I didn't. My mani tech realized he messed up on the tip color (I wanted white he could've just put white tip) but I still got charged for the powder so he put white polish over the white pwder and it looks uneven. Total was about $105 for a basic pedi and whatever the mani was... honestly wasn't worth my time. I got recommended here and was pretty let down. I got 2 mimosas pretty much the only thing worth it. The techs were nice enough but the fact he messed up and the price is why I give it 3 stars read more
