They were both more than willing to help me with the baby while I got my toes done. I appreciated the kindness and the quick service. If you're looking for foo foo decor, chandeleiers, and ritzy displays, this place is not that, but what you do get that I haven't had in a loooooong time, are technicians that care and don't just give you what you want but what you need. I came here on a whim after finishing business in the area. Looked at some Yelp reviews for recommendations (Thanks for looking out!), and this place popped up first. Other Yelpers had uploaded pictures of the salon's service menu prices, which gave me an idea of what I'd pay, so I decided to take a chance. I looped around twice, trying to get to the place that is in the same vicinity as Sams Club and its gas station. For locals, finding this location is probably easy, for me, a little challenging. It would be nice to have some signage around 45 to know where the location is due to the many winding roads that connect the mall and shopping centers. However, I'm glad I stayed the course. On a Friday afternoon at 3 pm, the shop was empty. That made me a little leery, but I decided to go in. The man who welcomed me was very nice. I showed him my nail, and when I asked what it would cost for all the services I wanted, he wrote the prices down for me. The price was way cheaper than what I would pay for a pedi and fill in Pearland, so why not?! I was given colors to choose from and asked if I wanted Shellac on my toe. I never do, but the man gave me a visual on his nail what my color choice would look like with the shellac on the hand and regular polish on the toe. I've been doing this for years and know one is slightly lighter the other, but I greatly appreciated him going above and beyond to ensure I knew what I was getting - especially being a new customer. I didn't ask for alcohol and didn't use the massager because I wanted to ensure I was paying attention to my nail techs. I had two people working on me at the same time (which really cuts down on time). I watched the local news while they worked, and I was satisfied until BOOM - the nail tech showed me I had fungus! I was so outdone. I had picked a perfect time to get my nails done at a great price and now what? Diane and the man communicated back and forth, and finally, I stated that I didn't want the shellac so the fungus could be taken care of. They both shook their head. I think they may have thought I would still want an overlay and color despite the fungus. I'm not that person. Diane commented after I stated that I was not getting the shellac that she could do a manicure versus just a take off. She gave me the price for the service and we were good. The man asked while Diane was doing the manicure if I still wanted color. Although the unsightly color of 2 nails with fungus was not my desired alternative, I asked what would be best. He stated no color would be best, so I went with it. I was impressed that they didn't try to sell me a more expensive pedicure or other services to make up the cost of the hand services. TT not only showed me they cared about their customers but that they respect their time and money. Once more, the cheapest pedicure here gave me the softest results compared to other more expensive pedicures I've had at other salons. The manicure, despite the fungus, came out beautifully. The shape was really nice and smooth despite no polish. I only wish they had a nail dryer machine to ensure my pedicure is dry before I leave. I just decided to wait some time before I left. As a result of their care and seevice, I left the biggest tip I've ever left a nail salon - almost the same amount I would have paid for my original services. Go here if you want to be cared for as a person and customer. You won't regret it! read more

There's a reason this is the highest rated nail salon in the area. I haven't had a pedicure/manicure this perfect in a long time. I usually go for the fancy spa places near my house with the chandeliers and if you're looking for that there's a few nearby. But this little shop has been here for 11 years for a reason! Great price, very clean & employees that care for customer satisfaction by taking their time. I noticed that they compared my hands a lot to make sure the nails mirrored each other, after my pedicure was done she still went back in and perfected the small details that she noticed needed fixing, which goes a long way in my book. I went here months ago for a pedicure and although it was cheap, it wasn't memorable enough for me to return. A couple of days ago I walked in for a manicure and full set. I get the solar powder on my natural nails which are about medium length. It was 4pm on a Wednesday when I walked in and there was only one other woman inside so I was immediately sat at a station to get my nails done. Diane was the one who serviced me and she was very sweet. She took her time and gave me almost exactly what I asked for, except I didn't get a manicure. That might have been a miscommunication on behalf of the gentleman who was at the desk when I walked in. He's the one I gave my request to. My issues with my outcome are 1)some of my nails were filed down too far and so both hands aren't even and 2)whatever final coat that's put on the nails wasn't done properly one mine. When I walked out of the salon my hands looked fine but when looked at them again fifteen minutes layer after washing my hands I noticed that some of the nails now looked matte or unfinished while others were shiny and coated and some were both. I was concerned but it's not noticeable to anyone but me and I honestly didn't feel like going back to have it fixed after seeing another woman's issue in the comments. I'll give it a couple of weeks to see how they look before deciding if I'll return. read more

I go to way too many different nail salons in the area / not the area and this is one of the best ones! I've gone a few times and each time the same people are working. I tend to go on the same day of the week so that could be why. So I don't know the name of the woman who has done my nails. Unfortunately, they don't have dip powder so I've gone back and fourth. On my most recent trip I got a full set, French tip. I haven't done French since I was in high school and I was afraid it would look weird. She did a great job! And listened to what I asked. She double checked with my length and the shape several times. I've also had shellac manicures and they are always flawless! My nails are thin so they tend to last about two weeks. When I have dip or acrylic it can last Upto 3/4. The quality of the work is what keeps bringing me back and at the price it's great! $5 for removal $25 shellac $30 French tip read more

I felt scammed: I was getting my nails done for the first time so I was excited. Once it came down to painting them the nail tech said the color I had picked would be too sheer and I would have to pick another color. I asked for her opinion since I had shown her the dress I was wearing and ended up with a "cat-eye" manicure somehow -- with a color I didn't really like. I got home and noticed the "cat eye" was streaky and some nails were patchy. Because I know how hard she worked I called to ask how much it'll be to change the color and that I had gotten them done that same day. Over the phone he (the manager) told me it'll be $7 and I said I'll be back the next day. The thing is, once I got to the store he then said it would be $20 because of the kind of nail polish she used. He said it's more expensive because they'll have to rebuild the entire nail, but the way she 'sold' me to this nail polish was by saying it was easier to remove the color so I figured my nail would get less damage. Once he saw my face of shock he said "how many nails do you want to change, I can do a couple for $7 but the entire hand is going to be $20, I can do $15 for you." Who would just want to change "a couple" nails, when you didn't like the color on all the nails. Also, I can understand why there's a price difference but the different prices should've been mentioned over the phone or I wouldn't have wasted my time. She also didn't mention it could be so much more to remove it. Like I said, I just feel a little scammed because I hadn't gotten my nails done before and felt like they took advantage of that. I had already spent $50, and I didn't want to make that a full $70. Just some advice: make sure to ask for all of their pricing. - I've attached some pictures, you'll see one of my index fingers is streaky and the other doesn't even look like it has a design. read more

I'm a new resident to Houston and was hard pressed for a new nail tech. I'm very ocd about my nails and looked up so many different shops near me and read so many reviews! This place in comparison to high priced salons and spas is a great find! My nail tech LEE was very nice and professional. He noticed my index fingernails curve a bit so he customized the tips to fit properly and since I have slim fingers he also filed down the sides of the tips to make sure no glue or powder got onto my skin which other nail shops don't pay attention to even when I tell them! He asked if I wanted them thin or medium or thick. He pays attention to what the customer wants and they offer you drinks when you walk in. They even took me on super late notice just an hour before closing for the holidays and did an amazing job! When i say i really like this place, i mean it. Coming from a family who owns a nail salon, i'm super picky on who does my nails and what i get done. When i arrived a bit early, i was quickly offered a beverage and color choices to choose from. Because this is a more outdated place they didn't have a whole lot of color choices, however the ones they had worked enough for me since i just wanted a natural nude. Lee did my nails and out of my entire life, he is definitely top 3 nail techs i've ever had. He consistently made sure i was comfortable with my color choice, shape, and length of my nails. The nails i chose do take a bit more time than usual but i'd rather spend more time and receive satisfaction than less time resulting in unsatisfaction. Usually when i get shorter, natural nails they tend to be more thick to help with stability and prevent breakage. But i personally like them thin, more natural looking. Lee 100% fulfilled my needs and i will definitely be back! And their pricing is reasonable as well! Only paid $40 for my set. read more

One of the best in Clear Lake. My first visit with them was awesome and I'll be coming back. I went in for a fill which was $18; compared to $25 elsewhere it was a great deal. The nail tech was super attentive and gentle with my nails and even replaced a broken tip free of charge. He was very experienced and filled my nails perfectly with no mistakes. I just left this place about 30 minutes ago... now, I believe I have a new go to spot to get my nails done! I walked in a little after 6:30, it was just one customer in there besides myself and the man greeted me as soon as I walked in. I told him that I just wanted a regular mani-pedi and that I would like the polish to be white. He said jokingly, "Are you sure just all white? You're going on vacation, no other colors?" Lol. He had me seated, him and another lady started working on both my hands and feet - of course, to save time. The nail technician was incredibly patient with me choosing my nail color and also helped me pick. When he asked about my specific nail shape i was a little nervous .. I normally go for a skinny/narrow square & i didn't know how to explain that i didn't want the coffin shape . So my only off day is Sunday and there aren't many nail places open on Sundays. This place was one of the only places open and they stay open until 7 p.m on Sunday so I thought I'd try it out. Let me tell you, It looks small and there weren't a lot of people in there but THEY ARE SO GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO. So a gentleman in there worked on my nails, I just got Shellac but boy was he patient and precise. I love to do my own nails usually and end up regretting every time I pay someone else to do them, but this time I can say it was certainly worth it! The nail tech was quick efficient and did a great job. I'll definitely be going back. Good prices and convenient location too! I took my little girl in as well and she got a mini mani/pedi for her good grades on report card, they only charged $6 for her, the only negative was we were hoping they had the little pedicure chair for children but they don't. We are from Ohio and dropped in on a Friday afternoon without an appointment. They took care of four pedicures and one manicure quickly and efficiently, and the price was very reasonable. A week and a half later and my toes are still perfect!! They had exceptional attention to detail. I felt comfortable and it was very clean.
