Don't go here! Read all the other negative reviews. Overpriced and low quality. If you do go here, definitely do not let Kelly do your nails. She will put them on crooked and blame you. Very unprofessional! Her cart says Kelly "Fast And Furious" on the side. She wants to speed thru doing your nails how she wants them done. She does not care how you want them done and you are the paying customer. Make that make sense. And much like the previous review, Danny was the best nail tech they had, and he isn't there anymore (since sometime in 2025). They say he switched to the Sugarland location. 6 - 9 months ago I would've said yes. Now, not so much... Before - they were kind and considerate - understanding and the like. Making sure that your experience and quality was assured. Now, it's almost like some of the nail techs dare you.... Not so much lead lady in front! She is one who listens and instructs. As the receptionists and Spanish lady that cleans and does the laundry (amazing lady)! I've been coming here in Pearland for more than 5 years. Never had an issue until something went wrong with a color change... I'm guessing. Since then they (techs) speak behind my back amongst themselves. And we all know how that feels... Once, ok, I get it - we have bad days and it was corrected. But I won't be returning. It's like I'm being asked not to return. Just an fyi. Ps. Today, I gave them a 5 out of 10. They're focused on squeezing out extra money then good, professional customer service. This salon is unprofessional and overpriced. My gel pedicure chipped soon after, and when I called to get it fixed, the manager kept calling me asking if it was "really" chipped and giving me a hard time. She kept pushing extra charges just to adjust the French tip, when all I wanted was to fix the chips. They refused to let me schedule a repair, insisting I walk in instead, which was super inconvenient. The technician, Amy, took 2.5 hours for a pedicure, and when I later tried to book another appointment, I was told she was "not comfortable" doing my nails--just because I had asked for a fix. The front desk even tried to make up a fake name, calling her "Cassie," but her name was actually Amy. They make you feel like a burden if you want a simple repair, and they talk about you when you come in for the repair. This place is a scam. They nickel-and-dime you for everything and act weird when you call them out. There are plenty of other places that offer better customer service without the hassle. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values customers. read more

This was my first time at this nail spa. I was a walk-in mani/pedi. They seated me immediately. The spa was clean and the tools looked autoclaved. One manicurist and one pedicurist worked simultaneously. This was great because the time was cut down to a reasonable period. I liked the oils and lotions they used. They do a great job of wrapping the arms and legs in hot towels as they move from one thing to the next. The hot wax for the feet was very soothing. The hot stone massage was very relaxing. I feel like everything was priced right for the services I received. I would recommend this spa for your next mani/pedi. read more

Absolutely disappointed. Got my nails done on Monday and my nails chipped two days later. I'm out of town for a week and won't be able to get my nails fixed. So annoyed that we pay this much money only for it to chip 2 days later. I hate how the dip process is different depending on your nail tech. Best staff ever!!! My husband is obsessed and he's a thifty fella who is super picky. He drops hints and reminders to me, like," do you need a new set yet? " We both bartend 13 hrs a day 6 days a week and everything lasts, no chips or breaks. Like I said the entire is the best! Prices are decent and fair for the quality and long lasting great care. My only gripe is name tags because they speak super calm, I want to thank everyone because I know my tech and receptionist name but not the ladies that keep it super clean. I've come here before and they've done a good job. The nail tech did fine but it's the young receptionist that is rude and lacks customer service. She smirks and doesn't acknowledge any issues you may have. She also goes and discusses it with other staff and laughs. She told me the price for a child's pedicure was $25. I decided not to do it and my son sat next to me. I then asked the nail tech what all the child's pedicure included and she said they cut the nails, any skin etc, do a scrub, massage and do a lotion. I was thinking well that seems like a good amount of stuff so I decided to do it. The lady who did my son's feet was done in 5 minutes which I expected her to maybe massage a little longer for $25 and no painting. I was surprised how quick she finished so I asked is she done? That was only 5 mins. So the young receptionist comes over and just repeats constantly "I told you the price was $25" over and over, which wasn't my issue. My issue is the lady spent 5 mins on him. She didn't care and just had a smart smirk on her face instead of being like "I'm sorry I'll look into that" I guess after her running her mouth to other employees they decided to take $5 off, when really I just wish he had a little longer of an experience. The receptionist is the reason I won't be back. Being the first person you interact with when you walk into a business, you may want someone a little more professional. Due to my original nail shop being closed on Sunday I decided to try one closer to home. Genova gives off a nice and welcoming vibe as soon as you walk in. The front desk staff is sweet and they check on you while you're receiving service. This allows your tech to focus on you. The first time I went, I wasn't 100% happy with my nails or the design on my big toe but I was short on time so I didn't complain. I went back for a refill & Brandon (a different tech the 2nd time) did an amazing job on my new set. I'll request him moving forward. read more

TL;DR: Beautiful new nail salon with friendly staff. Vast amount of nail polishes to choose from. Expect a long wait during peak hours. I've had my eye on Genova Nail Spa since they opened about two months ago. I was in desperate need of a pedicure and finally decided to come by today. I had read a tip that they are pretty busy, so I was prepared to wait since I didn't make an appointment. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately by the owner Katie. She told me it would be about a 30 minute wait for a pedicure. I was seated in a chair after about 40 minutes. It took about another 20 minutes before a tech came over to start my pedicure. While I waited, a different employee offered me a beverage. I opted for water, but I believe they had beer and wine. I can't remember if they had liquor but it looked like their drink menu had quite a few options. The salon is spacious and the décor is very pretty. There's lots of pedicure chairs and a good amount of space for manicures. The music they had playing was very nice and relaxing too. Genova has so many nail colors to choose from. I didn't realize that the color swatches were for regular nail polishes too. I thought they were for gel and shellac, but Katie said I could choose any color from the many swatches on the table. Ruby did my pedicure. I chose the Tropical Deluxe Pedicure which is $45. The Tropical Deluxe includes a 12 minute massage of feet, lower legs, and neck. Ruby set a timer on her cart for 12 minutes. The neck massage was nice. The feet and legs could have used a little more pressure. Unfortunately Ruby scraped my toe when she was reshaping and cleaning the nail. It's a little sore today. A big reason why I don't find manicures and pedicures relaxing is because of the risk of getting nicked, scraped, or cut. After Ruby finished polishing my nails, I went up to the front to pay and sit at the dryer. Katie noticed the tiny bruise on my toe that I've had for months (don't drop your phone on your toe!). She went to grab the polish to put another coat on it to cover it up. I told her it was okay, but she insisted. I have to admit, it does look better with the third coat of polish. Then she had me sit at the dryer for a few minutes. Katie apologized for the long wait. She told me that it slows down after 2 or 3 pm on weekends (which it did when I was there) and it's slower during the week, but someone left a tip the other day saying that the wait was long on a Wednesday. Tip: Check in on the app for $5 off of $35! Despite the long wait and the tech scraping my toe, I would recommend Genova. The customer service was great and the polish color options are vast! If you walk in without an appointment, be prepared to wait. read more

Super clean facilities, lots of employees so very easy to just walk in. I called 45 mins in advance to get an appointment and had no issue. I was specific in what I was wanting which was a full set and pedicure at the same time. Had no issues whatsoever! Lots of color options too! Teetee was my pedicuriest she was super through and asked me lots of questions as to how to handle my feet which I really liked, and Dozo did an AMAZING job on my full set! She listened to how I like them but also made them absolutely beautiful!!! They told me the price before I checked out which also made me feel comfortable spending what I did for what I got. Have been coming here with my partner for almost over a year. I live pretty far and drive quite a ways to get to this location. I enjoy the nail techs and the staff for the most part. However, today I was going to be about 10 minutes late due to heavy traffic and construction, plus an accident along the way that was completely out of my control. The nail shop called and let me know that the nail tech that normally does my nails (that I have an appointment with, mind you he always takes about 2 hours on my nails, will have to cancel my appointment. Very very disappointed to not have been given grace for running a few minutes behind. I have been a loyal customer of Tan for years. I have always tipped well, brought many customers to this location and enjoyed the services. The lady who typically answers the phone (she's a bit young) was a bit snarky and somewhat nice nasty. However, this time it was pretty good overall except I was charged $5 for "length" when all I did was get a fill.. with no length added. I will give 4 stars as I would hate to have a local business get low reviews. My experience was less that stellar I love to support small businesses. I've tried other salons in the area. I thought I had found the best one, but I was wrong. We called to see if they can take us since they close at 7pm. We came at 6pm. Sat and waited for 35 minutes before someone worked on us. Well, whoever accepted us should've told them that we were there early and not wanting to keep them late. A tech walks by and comments in viet and asking why are we here. I hate it when other Vietnamese techs assume I'm not Vietnamese and make comments in Viet. I don't look like a non-Viet person, so don't assume I don't understand. I had Sam do my nails before, but had someone else rush to do mine in 15 minute while burning my sides while filing it. I literally had to tell her she was hurting me. This was my first time trying out this place. I made an appointment for my friend and I to get pedicures done. Last minute, I decided to get a manicure done as well. The salon is very open and spacious, and very inviting. The staff members are all very kind and friendly and they really know what they're doing and will gladly accommodate to what it is you are looking for, for your nails. They also provide drinks when you're getting your nails done too. I had some wine to go along with my manicure and pedicure. For my pedicure, I did the milk and honey pedicure. It felt really nice and relaxing - especially since I'm always on my feet. They did a nice hot stone massage and did a shoulder massage too at the end. My pedicurist took her time to really give me the care and treatment I needed and I felt SO relaxed. For my manicure, I wanted to do something nice for my cruise coming up, and so I asked for a simple ombré of pink and white in an almond shape. I was very pleased with the way it turned out and honestly it was what sold me on coming to this place now. read more

I strongly do not recommend this Nail shop I went to get my nails done shellac on a Sunday & within the first the first day the ends of my nails were chipping and noticed my real nail was hanging & showing over the fake nail. We all know shellac nails last longer and do not chip easily. I went back on Wednesday and asked for them to fix the issues they painted over the chipped part of my nails. However once again that same night my nails were chipping. I contacted them to get my refund because I paid $80 to have my nails done right, not chipping where my real nail hanging over the fake nails. I went in & showed the manager, she stated they could paint over it again. Just to have my nails chip again the same night. I spend over 3-1/2 hours in Genova nails within 5 day span. Never again. I came in to get a pedicure and it may have been the worst one I have ever gotten? To be fair I have very sensitive feet so if you don't then perhaps this place is fine, another thing to note is that I just so happened to get a bad pick out of their many employees so who's to say it couldn't have gone better with someone else. Anywho, the lady I had didn't seem very knowledgeable about nails as I have one ingrown nail and she straight tried to cut it off.. I was like "Ow! Oh no.." she tried again to clip it and I just told her to skip it since she didn't seem to know how to work with an ingrown nail. I always hold my breath when they do cuticle care cause ptsd from having bad experiences in the past, that part was fine but towards the end she used this brush to clean my nails after the massage and that was the roughest brush, I literally said "ow!" And she laughed and said "It hurt?" I said "Yes, it definitely doesn't feel good" to which she just continued to brush and then spray with alcohol and what do you know I got cuts from that brush and the alcohol made it burnnnn. The massage was nice and my nails did turn out pretty but.. worst pedicure experience ever. read more
