We've ordered from Mimi Gardens multiple times over the last few months. Delivery is always fast and the food is always fresh. They have the best spring rolls I've ever tasted, with plenty of vegan options to choose from. I tried the BBQ tofu with veggies over noodles and fell in love. Substitute egg noodles for rice noodles to keep it vegan. I've also tried the fresh tofu rolls which were delicious as well. You gotta try this place for yourself! Decent prices and very generous serving sizes. I easily ordered a vegan option -- the barbeque tofu with mixed vegetables over noodles -- by substituting egg noodles for rice noodles. Delicious food and good water without any chlorinated taste. The mango juice offered a nice sweetness to the meal too. MiMi Gardens restaurant calls themselves a Vietnamese restaurant but they're really just like a decent asian fusion place. It is right across from Catholic Central High school. Nonetheless, the food was delicious! Since I didn't really know what to expect, I chose some recommended items. They have a very large selection to choose from. Even a vegetarian and healthy menu for those who have constraints on certain foods. The restaurant was not too big, but very comfortable and the service was great! The pork roll and the shrimp rolls were good and they had a nice amount of meat in them. The sauce is a sweet peanut-based hoisin sauce, which went very well with the rolls. Special Pepper Shrimp. A abundant amount of shrimps lightly battered and fried till lightly golden, tossed in a spicy sauce with garlic and bell peppers. Served with rice and topped with Vietnamese fish sauce. It also comes in chicken, shrimp, seafood and even vegetarian styles, such has vegetables, tofu, green beans and mushroom! Overall, I had an amazing experience. It is a great environment with a large selection on food. I really recommend this restaurant as it has a variety of food choices. Great for families, group dinners and take out if you are in a rush! I have been going to this restaurant for over 17 years or since it first opened. I have never thought to do a review until now. It is a simple restaurant with good food and many vegetarian options. Some of my favorites are: spring rolls, shrimp rolls, garlic shrimp on rice, BBQ chicken or tofu with mixed veggies on noodles and their hot and sour soup also available in vegetarian. My boyfriend and I are vegan and we find this to be the perfect place to dine out with my parents (who are omnivores). This restaurant has tons of vegan options as well as all of the meat/seafood options that you might expect at a Chinese restaurant. The mimi tofu, bbq tofu, and general tao's cauliflower are my favourites whereas my parents love the salt and pepper shrimp. Everything is super fresh and they will omit the msg if you ask.
