I have been loyal to this restaurant even before they moved Best chinese food in 50 miles. I drive an hour to pick up my Chinese food from Fongs Villa. Always have a large order that lasts my family about 3 days. The service is always great and Molly and her staff are so friendly. The new restaurant is beautiful. An Excellent Chinese place in Tecumseh. I especially love the buffet they do every sunday. It's small but the food is excellent. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. Sometimes the chicken fried rice tastes a little overdone but other than that most all the food we order tastes very well prepared and authentic. Definitely worth a visit. read more

This is located in my home town. The quantity is perfect. You will definitely go home with leftovers. My favourite dishes are chicken soo guy and the house noodles. Mmmmmmmmm!!! This restaurant is absolutely amazing. My family always orders take out, and the food is just as good as eating inside the restaurant. The chicken balls have always been my favourite, but they aren't always filled with chicken. There is some space without chicken in them sometimes. The dipping sauce is always good. The brown rice mixture is also one of my favourite dishes. Definitely my go to Chinese restaurant. Especially for take out. read more

Fongs villa has always been known to have great food and generous portions, HOWEVER, the Daughter of the nice old people that owned it was a complete bitch. I very seldom got our food from there because of her and her attitude. I have spoken to many people that totally agreed with me. We decided to try out the new owners. The place was empty when we got there. It seems to be a theme in windsor, with Chinese restaurants. They had a section of the restaurant closed off with a table perhaps because they expected not many people would come during a week day. We sat down and the server came to provide the menu. A few pages of their menu had an 'x' on it. Which obviously meant they no longer served it. There wasn't much to choose from in their menu 3/4 items per category. We ordered Cantonese chow mein, spicy green bean with pork, beef broccoli, chicken wings, shrimp & pork fried rice, a small bowl of white rice, and half an order of chicken wings (6 pcs) and two pop. Cantonese chow mein was almost burned. All the noodles were super Crispy and had no soft noodle at all. The taste was bland and the colour was pure pale. Spicy Green Bean with pork, had a weird taste to it. It wasn't spicy but had pepper flakes. It was salty and the green bean seemed old. It wasn't on the menu and I had asked if they had it and they said yes. Bad idea. Beef & broccoli was bland and mediocre. It wasn't at all tasty. Shrimp & Pork Fried Rice, was pale, and had no taste to it either. You'd have to add some soy sauce for some taste. It was terrible. Some of the shrimp still had some left over shells on it. Fried Chicken wings, had too much batter and it was super salty. All in all $66 later, and that was the worst Chinese restaurant we've been to so far in windsor. read more

Great Cantonese food. Hot & sour soup and Egg rolls are a way to start the meal. Lucy is a great owner and makes your feel at home.

Got take out for 6. It was solidly Good- but not over-the-top fantastic. There was a perfect amount of spice in our cashew chicken and the meats in the beef and pork dishes were cooked properly- hot and tender. The fried shrimp had a little too much breading for my liking and communication over the order was a little difficult. Better than what I remember from the past under the old owners, because it had a lot less grease and good flavor. We will return for more take-out to try a few more dishes. read more

We were a party of 11 for New Years Eve. We knew it might take a while but we were in no hurry. We arrived at 6:15. It took over 30 mins before we saw a waitress for our drink order, and it went downhill from there. We understood that it was New Year's Eve and that there was a lot of takeout orders coming through but the restaurant itself was dead, only about 5 other tables. We finally put our order in at 7:00. Our bowl of soup ( which we all know is sitting on a burner staying warm in the back) took 55 minutes to get to the table. At 8:15, two plates out of eleven came out. It was slightly warm at the least. However being hungry, we ate it. The food came out in stages. Two plates than 5 minutes later 2 more. My sister waited 25 minutes after I got my plate for hers. The new owner kept saying that they were rushing her plate. Than another person in my party was brought a meal that he didn't order. The owner fought with us saying that this was in fact the meal we ordered. Being hungry, he took the plate. All this time, no one came to refill our drinks after repeatedly asking. Before getting the bill we complained about the horrible service. The owner blamed us for everything. It was our fault that the meal was wrong, our fault that the food was cold, and that we need to be more patient. She also claimed that beef with broccoli takes a lot longer than chicken chop suey to make, (I doubt it takes 25 minutes after my meal was served to make!) Than, when handing the bill, the owner said that the meal that was apparently ordered wrong, was in fact their fault because they ran out. So, that means they get to choose for me what I want to eat?! To sum up, over 2 hours, terrible service, and cold food, I will never come back. This was a family favourite, and new ownership has ruined a great place for Chinese food in Tecumseh. read more

The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. If you're visiting fong's you better know exactly what you want and what's in everything because if you so much as choose the wrong food you will be harassed into paying for absolutely everything. Good luck understanding the menu, and good luck getting any help when you ask for it. I highly recommend you look for Chinese food elsewhere the taste is simply not worth the trouble of the crappy service. read more

family run chinese restaurant in tecumseh.. the food is great especially the chicken in black bean sauce. the only thing is that they charge a lot for minor substitutions for ex. veg roll for egg roll was 1 dollar more per roll..veg soup for wonton soup was 1.50 more eventhough that veg soup was tiny. read more

The food was okay in this place but the customer service was horrible. The owner and waitress were extremely rude and non-accommodating and very disrespectful. I sent back a plate of food because it had something in it that was not mentioned in the menu and all I got was a bunch of shit from the owner and she was ridiculously rude.
