The food here is decent depending on how picky you are. It is standard Chinese take out which I happen to enjoy. The general toa is my go to. They have generous portions and I can get a couple lunches out of my leftovers. I have never eaten in so I can't speak to the service there. The takeout is quick and I can usually call before leaving work and pick up on the way home. The My guess what? They have told me that it would take my word to be ready with 30 minutes. If you're looking for healthy portions and a quick meal on the way home, I would recommend trying the new China inn. read more

Ordered General Tso chicken with shrimp fried rice / egg roll included. Presentation was that of a frozen dinner. Shrimp fried rice had reasonable size shrimp. Rice had some grainy bits to it( as if not cooked completely). Chicken was cube cut breast; crispy and crunchy. Sauce taste was not long lasting; somewhat thin In texture and consistency. Only open for take-out despite having a dining room because the dining room apparently was serving as a supply room. We ordered anyway and decided to reluctantly eat in the car. Bad idea, because they overfilled both leaky entree containers so much that eating in the car was impossible. I ended up with my entree being literally in a bag of gravy. Food tastes okay, but nothing great, but never again without inside traditional dining area. The person who waited on us was rude and snarky too, which as much motivated me to savage New China Inn in this review as the plastic bag filled with gravy. First of all, I expected to be seated for dinner not a to go meal. I had ordered General Tao dinner. The chicken was ok, the fried rice was flavorless, it had nothing in it. No vegetables or barbecue pork! The egg roll was raw in the middle and burnt on the outside. Then they charged me extra for sweet and our sauce and soy sauce. By the time I got it home it was cold. Wonton and Chinese vegetable are the same thing but with wontons of course in the wonton soup. Tons of bean sprovery good. This place is a gem, the place is small and currently only open for carry out due to covid crisis but wow the food was outstanding. The thing that really impressed me was huge portion of food I got for a lunch special! There was so much it lasted for dinner the next night. If you want good cost to portion efficiency get the dinner combinations. For appetizers the Steamed Dumplings and Crab Rangoon are good. My only major complaint is the styrofoam containers leak a bit but they wrap them up pretty darn well with plastic wrap on the bottom so if you just throw it on a paper plate in the fridge and it's a non-issue If your like me and you want super duper spicy food and don't really know how to articulate that? The food here is a hit or miss. Some days it's really good other days it is not. The Chinese place is inconsistent with the way the food is cooked. It may be a day where your craving food and it becomes a waste of money. I would say it is okay, but not worth the price.
