Had Milton install a french drain in my back yard due to flooding after heavy rains. It was actually pretty challenging job as my back yard has a very slight grade. Milton and his team were able to get enough drop in the french drain that I didn't need a pump of any kind and this saved me quite a bit money. Other quotes I received required a pump in the system which made the install way more costly. Milton quoted me a fair price and his team worked quickly to install the drain. Highly recommend Milton for drainage installation. We had disgusting water piles that stayed for WEEKS after rains. Backyard was unusable during entire rainy seasons. Like 6-8" deep standing water at a corner low point. Milton recommended a French drain along our fence line, and a catch basin at the low point. So 2 structures both with a pipe draining to the front street. Milton was patient with us as we weighed the decision, as this was our biggest project to date on the house. Once we were ready, his crew got started the next morning. He was communicative throughout the process, and his crew was friendly and professional. He was flexible- we had a late add-on of a walkway in the area that was no problem for the crew. We were experiencing some major flooding issues in our backyard after heavy rains. Milton came out to assess and sent us a quote along with a detailed sketch the next day. His team installed 5 catch basins, a French drain, and tied our gutter downspouts to those drains (they had to trench 200 feet of 4" PVC pipe). They also installed edging and Blackstar rock for one of the trenches (at my request) and didn't charge additionally for it. Milton came to rescue with a repair of our collapsed retaining wall. He was courteous and professional. We had 2 others come to look at the repair and the first did a quick estimation that turned out many times more than Milton. I've had chronic flooding issues in my split level home and met with many "drainage" companies working to find a solution. I realized most of the companies in Austin that handle drainage work are just landscape companies. My issues were brought on by water seeping into my foundation and exterior walls and flooding my sunken living room. I called Milton, as I felt his company had a better reputation for working with foundation and concrete than a landscaper, and I was right! Milton, showed up for my first meeting on time and I loved his plan to solve my drainage issues. Other companies offered drainage solutions, but nothing to seal, and protect my home, like Milton offered. Milton and his crew showed up on time on the day they promised and knocked the job out in a day and a half. They ripped out concrete steps that were cracked and allowing water to seep into the foundation of the house and installed a large channel drain to collect all the water draining from my courtyard patio to the steps. Milton just finished a drainage job at my property. Collected all my gutters into a French drain to discharge into a sump pit since my terrain wasn't leveled enough. I also wanted a concrete patio poured and St. Augustine sod placed in the swale. I had some last minute changes that he happily accommodated, like removing an old chain link fence and putting more sod in my front yard. A few days after the swale was installed we got a really heavy rain and we had no flooding, the swale diverted all the water.
