Not much to say - my smog check (required at a STAR-certified station) was quick and painless. No appointment necessary, and the price was $45.00 with the automatic $15.00 discount listed on their website. Google instructed me to turn might at Mikulakis, but this is incorrect - go past the intersection and turn into the very first driveway, at the corner. Drive past the Precision Care Auto Tune and you'll see the sign for this smog check station at the last set of roll-up doors. The lobby area is sparse but it gets the job done - you'll probably be here less than 20 minutes. When I got here the technician was finishing up with another customer. He was testing my car in less than five minutes, and was done within fifteen minutes. The test results get sent automatically to the DMV, so all I had to do afterwards was pay for my registration online. I was told that it takes 24 hours to process the results, but I don't anticipate this would be an issue for anyone as long as you make sure to get your smog check done at least a week or two before the deadline. Every time I've been here, there's never a wait (Saturday or Sunday afternoon). The worker/owner is Vietnamese and is really nice. Soooo glad I ran across this place! I called to ask for a quote and he told me that it's $60 but there's currently a coupon for $40. First off, they are a "Star Station" if your registration says you need that. I was charged $40 total for my 2011 BMW 328 and that included the $8 for the certificate. I had originally went to another place and the person told me specifically the smog check machine has issues reading my car's computer, therefore he was unable to perform the test.
