This place has become a part of our weekly routine. We love the sliced multigrain bread and go by on Sunday to get a loaf and stick it in the freezer for sandwiches all week. Came in here recently and I feel like the quality has changed. The soups are much more liquidy, almost like from a can but diluted. The sandwiches are fine, but it'a hard to mess up a sandwich. For the pastries they seem to use the same base and icing for each dessert. I've had the tiramisu recently. The tiramisu is okay but only if you treat it as a cake and not as a tiramisu. There is a very slight hint of coffee. It tastes like they simply took their regular cake base, and lightly brushed it with coffee, rather than the traditional soak, then put the regular frosting on top. There seems to be very little effort in the making of the pastries. Simply copy and paste with tiny add ons of flavor. However, the lunch special is cheap and the service is friendly. So, if you're really hungry and are in the area, there's no harm in stopping by. Just don't go expecting something more than chain store borderline walmart bakery quality. Take note that most of these good reviews are over special orders, and not over the regular day to day stuff. read more

Hubby and I decided to go for lunch and check it out. What a score! Millstone is a family owned bakery making delicious breads that are preservative and corn syrup free. I had the ham and brie sandwich and it was delicious! Hubby had the tuna, which is rare because he never trusts anyone else's tuna. He loved it! I will say on the little sandwich I tasted, the bread was excellent and it had super fresh vegetables. I probably would return to give them another chance, but I will forgo the combo and just go with the sandwich. They did not have a good selection of pastries or cookies, I was disappointed. As for customer service, the girl behind the counter was very nice. There was another girl that was eating lunch and she was rude to the girl behind the counter. I came in this afternoon to get a quick bite to eat before my weekly grocery shopping trip. I love bakeries, and they offer a great lunch special, half a sandwich and cup of soup for $8.50. The sandwich is build your own, and is advertised as "small". I ordered a turkey sandwich on ciabatta with a few other toppings. What came out to the table was a feast. They bake everything fresh daily, and it shows. The ciabatta was so fresh and light. Perfect lunch. They also make coffee, lattes, etc. I got a mocha, and it was delicious.
