2024 Yelp 100 Challenge - #36 I'm not a huge fan. The Cupcakes were a bit dry. I've had better at Nothing Bundt Cakes and prefer spending me money there. I order six cupcakes with one wedding cake jar. All were mediocre. The cupcakes are big enjoy to share, so I split them with my husband. - Red Velvet - Strawberry - Lemon - Banana Pudding - Wedding Cake - Chocolate Service was great. The young women informed me of the most popular items and they were red velvet and wedding cake.

Ok. My two littles wanted cupcakes, so we stopped here. I ordered 4 cupcakes before I knew the cost SMDH. Here's my review. 1. The cupcakes are way too small for $6 bucks a piece. You have got to be kidding me on this one. Have we become so desperate in life that we just purchase expensive cupcakes continously no matter what??? Heck no, not again. 2. Lack major taste and VERY DRY. People please know these were dry and grainy on the icing seriously. Very disappointed after I spent $6 bucks a piece on these. It's not like I was going to drive 40 mins back up there from home to try and return them. 3. Over priced as I mentioned before. If you're going to charge this price, atleast increase the size a bit. I know cost has gone up on products but that's not your consumers fault. Fix the lack in quality and quantity please. The company I believe this use to be or this place is trying to be like was Dimples Cupcake back in the day and the size was different, and the taste was like a kiss from an angel. Just do better for your consumers please. Not everyone is rich and can afford expensive small cupcakes lacking flavor.

We first had these cupcakes when they had a small stall at Stonebriar Mall and they were delicious. Happy to see them open up a walk in location. They don't have any crazy offerings or flavors, but what they do have are solid. Their cupcakes are $6 a piece, which is obviously pricey, but we've never had a bad cupcake from them. They're all moist and it's not overloaded with frosting on top like most places. Best of all, their machine doesn't ask for a damn tip like every other place on the planet. Give them a try!

We Love fluellen and knew them as dimples in Dallas years ago. We usually visit the downtown Dallas location but we're please to learn there was a location in Frisco. We found the cupcakes considerably smaller and a little off. The wedding cake is my favorite but it was lacking in flavor. Soft and delicious but the flavor was different. The strawberry was dry and hard wouldn't they again. Banana pudding delish and fluffy as the chocolate white chocolate. We will drive to Dallas from here on out. Even with the hassle of downtown and parking. The cupcakes are better.....

Brought my girls to this posh, chic, elegant cupcake place. They are open late so come get a cupcake after date night. We tried the Banana Pudding, Black Velvet, Strawberry Shortcake, and Wedding Cake. Banana Pudding was hands down the best pick out of the four. Black Velvet was a close second because it was luscious with a nice balance of delicacy. Strawberry Shortcake was dense but that's probably due to fresh strawberries used in the batter. Wedding Cake was disappointing after trying the other three because it didn't have any flavor. $6 per cupcake but they were pretty big.

My son and I went in with a coupon for a free cupcake. My son gave them the coupon, selected whatever cupcake he wanted and they packed it up and we left. They were very kind. He chose the red velvet. It was so tasty and the frosting was thick and yummy. I love the their ratio of cupcake to frosting. We will definitely go again.

My fork was a sign of stiffness

I bought 40.00 dollar worth of cupscake and they were brick hard They smelled amazing but they were not soft at all...my daughter and i had a self care day and this was our treat ..i was so disappointed and i have had great cupscake from here not sure what happened this time....cst service was great..

We stopped by for their soft opening yesterday evening! I have a love for cupcakes and am excited their now in the area. As we walked in, we were greeted by the two workers in there. Inside the store, there isn't any furniture/fixtures yet since they're just doing a soft opening. They have several different flavor opens to choose from, which is good. We got wedding cake, banana pudding, snickerdoodle, and black velvet. No complaints from anyone... delicious and big cupcakes.

They're also aesthetically pleasing. A bit less eggy than other fluffy souffle pancake joints that I've tried overseas. The pancakes here are fluffy and closer to the American cake consistency, but much lighter and easier to cut through versus the types you'd get in Japan. Strawberry Souffle Pancakes - The strawberries are fresh and delicious. Definitely appreciate that the whipped cream appears to be made in house and not out of a can. The premium pancake option comes with the equivalent of three strawberries and two pancakes with a reasonable dollop of whipped cream and strawberry sauce. Nutella Banana Souffle Pancakes - Roughly half or two-thirds of a banana split in two and appears to have a bit of caramelized sugar on it. There's also one strawberry, a Ferrero Rocher, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce to go with two fluffy pancakes. The entree is definitely well executed and fruits are fresh. Whipped cream is excellent. Overall, this place is a great place to enjoy some fluffy souffle pancakes. There's limited seating and wait times on the pancakes are anywhere between 15-20 minutes, which we appreciate because they do make them to order. The price of $13.99 for two pancakes off the premium menu felt a bit steep for the product. Experience at much better establishments, like Happy Pancake, in Shibuya or Ginza offer three pancakes with a greater quantity of whipped cream and fruits at roughly $8.25 with no expectations on tips. I understand we're in the states and this may not be a fair comparison, but the variance in both quantity and price is steep. Other than that, the product is good and worth a try.

Every time I walked by on both Saturday and Sunday, the line was out the door. After seeing how busy it was on Saturday, I honestly expected better preparation for Sunday -- especially with staffing. I finally stopped by around 8:00 p.m. Sunday night when the line wasn't nearly as long, but it still took over 29 minutes just to get an ice cream. There was only one person working the register and one person preparing all the orders on his own. That said, both employees remained calm and professional the entire time. They did not appear stressed despite the constant flow of customers, and they handled everything with patience. Major credit to them for keeping it together all weekend. Management, however, could have anticipated the volume of a large cheer competition and staffed accordingly. With better preparation, the experience could have been much smoother. Kudos to the two employees for staying composed and doing their best under tough circumstances.
