We decided to get dessert tonight and selected Mozart's. We arrived an hour before closing and, fortunately, there still was a decent selection. I chose the 'new' chocolate yogurt cheesecake, my partner chose strawberry mousse, and we got a chocolate cream bread to go. If you enjoy sugary supermarket cakes, this isn't your place. Mozart's desserts are less sweet and more about subtle flavor. My cheesecake was light in texture with a cocoa-like chocolate flavor enhanced by a large strawberry. My partner's strawberry mousse was smooth, topped with strawberry glaze, and a fresh strawberry that gave it a fresh, summer flavor. We'll enjoy the chocolate cream bread tomorrow morning! The decor of this Mozart location essentially has remained unchanged for the past 5 or so years that we've been coming. Been coming here for a while, and always have a good experience. The staff are friendly and the baked goods are delicious. The gal that helped me wore a mask and gloves, and there was a plastic divider up to keep things contactless. I always enjoy seeing this. I ordered a Rose Milk Tea, which they advertised on their door as their newest milk tea flavor. I'm not shre what she gave me, but it didn't taste of rose. It tasted like a lot of sugar and milk tea. I personally like a strong rose flavor, but I couldn't even taste it in this milk tea. I was a little disappointed, but everything else that I usually get here is great! I love their garlic bread bites that are in the pre-packaged baked goods! They're sweet and garlicy and delicious. I also love their Milk Snow. It was non-alcoholic, and the light fluffy chocolate cake, with light fluffy strawberry icing , adorned with some sort of delicious vanilla icing, and adorned with strawberries. They also offer many other items like bread, mochi, ice cream mochi, and bubble tea, tea, and other drinks, as well as coffee. This was definitely a repeater. That changed recently after tons of Facebook posts by friends extolling the good environment for reading, coffee and a pastry, plus my new-found love of trying boba tea. I stopped in for the latter on a warm spring day. I'd read that their boba menu was simple to read (a plus for this newbie) which made me feel brave enough to try a classic green tea boba. I ordered it half-sweet - a good move, because it was still very sweet. Next time I might even go to 1/4 sweet to keep it from being overwhelming. What was a surprise was that the drink came frozen. I've only had shaken boba, not a frozen-smoothie version. it wasn't unpleasant, but it wasn't quite what I'd had in mind for the day. I think I needed it to be a warmer day to want a frozen drink. Anyway, live and learn. Would I go back? Probably. This particular location is is so sad and disheveled; it looks like they converted a grocery store storage area into a coffee shop. There are stacks and stacks boxes of random grocery items sitting in the area directly adjacent to their baked goods area. It honestly makes me quite sad. Although this isn't really their fault, the rest of the shopping plaza is also quite sad. It's completely empty. The drinks prepared were also uninspiring. We have been customers of Mozart for over a decade. Unfortunately, there has been a consistent and noticeable decline in the quality of their cakes. They seem to have switched to using margarine instead of butter, and the cream is excessively sweet. Their prices have gone up significantly. This used to be our go to place for Korean style cakes. I was intrigued by the name but no classical music whatsoever just current Asian pop music. Clean and spacious with ample seating. Coffee was very good. Croissants were out on table had whipped cream custard with fresh strawberries but I found it amazing they were not refrigerated due to the dairy based cream but it was fresh and delicious and highly recommend. Counter staff were professional and friendly. The cakes are exactly like the light battered cakes at Asian all you can eat buffets. Meaning that the cake has less density than typical cake desserts like sponge. Not a lot of flavor but pretty and colorful. Light flavor - too light for me so if I do return I'll stick to the croissants. My mirror cake was coated with a chocolate frosting and it was stretchy and like gelatin because I think the chocolate icing was old and not fresh but like the top layer of pudding that's been in the fridge. Yuckee They offer Splenda and little international creamers but no fresh milk nor almond or soy milk. The coffee station was clean. They offer plastic ware to eat your pastries. Got the same flavor as the first time, specifically a strawberry and a pistachio but unfortunately they did not taste the same. Wrong to give this place low stars after only trying two items that were still good but just not on par with what I initially had. So I have been getting various attacks of food poisoning and my mom has been helping me recover with Mozart bakery goodies! I haven't had the chance to stop by the actual bakery but all the goodies I have gotten have tasted fantastico. Yesterday my mom dropped off two boxes of their pastries, a loaf of buttered bread filled with this sweet whipped cream, a tray of what looks like cinnamon rolls, croissants with fruity fillings and hot tea. yum. I just wanted to stuff my face into all of it but could only handle a nibble here and there. What I love about Mozart's treats are that they are not too sweet or heavy. It was 3pm on a Saturday and their selection was pretty low but we tried three things. My cinnamon bun was divine. Not doughy but more like a pastry, lighter, sweet without being sugary, one of the best I ever had. Husband picked up a Walnut Cream Cheese bread, probably could serve 4-6, he ate half, enough said. Only disappointment was that my daughter is a chocoholic, and purist, only thing she may tolerate in her chocolate is almonds. The woman behind the counter wasn't too interested in helping us and when we asked what something was she said it was filled with chocolate mousse. So that is what we got. When we got home we all loved our desserts, except our daughter. She discovered hers was filled with a little chocolate mousse but mostly had a raspberry filling. That is taste. Where are the flavors to match the external beauty? My cheese cake litterally fell apart. I have been eating cheese cake of all varieties for 45 years and this is the first time I could not even discern a subtle flavor and had it crumble. The other taste treats that my companions shared were equally as beautiful but tasteless. I had the same experience at another location a couple of years ago but, thought id give it another try. This place also has a variety of different cakes, whole cakes, and cakes by the slice. This place is also great to enjoy some coffee with friends and enjoy desserts. I've never been to this on at this location before. I've tried couple of items(cake and Tiramisu like cake) here and honestly, I didn't think that they were all that. They were kind of pricey though. I've also tried one by the 75 Freeway and I got some kind of cold dessert and mochi and it was delicious, but I haven't been back there since. I think I like pastries from Central Market or Whole Foods better despite of high prices, because to me, they taste delicious. I've found out that that's because they're expensive doesn't necessarily mean that they're good which turns out in my situation. The trip I took to Mozart Bakery was solely based in Yelp. My boyfriend wanted coffee, but told me he wanted something good that wasn't Starbucks. I yelped coffee and this bakery was one of the first ones listed near us. I clicked it and saw they had cronuts, something we've both wanted to try, so we immediately left to find it. It's a Korean bakery, which was surprising. They have some interesting things that are labeled in both languages. There's a display case, a fridge, and another room full of fresh bread goods. There's a giant sign advertising the cronuts. We each got one, a strawberry cream cheese one and a Bavarian creme one. They were fantastic. They look small but they are filling (and, if you're me, the sugar coating is incredibly messy. They have a large selection of hot and iced coffees, steamed milk, and hot chocolate. We got hot chocolate and a vanilla latte, both of which were excellent. We stayed for a while watching TV on our tablet, because they have free wi-fi and cute secluded booths. My only problem is it's a little pricey, but nothing too outrageous. For two small drinks, two cronuts, and a croissant (which I didn't mention because I accidentally left it behind), it was 15 bucks. I'd still go back though. We both loved it. read more

I don't mind the size but at least offer the same variety as the other store. Other than that, truly love their hazelnut ice coffee. Great place to study since it is still small. Macaroons are amazing. Instead of building a box, just pick the ones you want and then they will place it in a bigger contain. The rectangle gift box is a little bit more but I think the one that they place your order in is just as good. You get more bang for your buck. I paid $12 for all 8 flavors versus paying $12 for 6 (I believe that is how many the gift one holds). Enjoy them sweets! read more
