    Lobster benedict - yum!
    Ian S.

Had a beautiful Sunday Father's Day brunch with my daughter at Millie's, which came highly recommended. We walked from American University and were seated promptly despite not having a recommendation - we wanted to sit inside, and that worked well; there was a wait for the beautiful outdoor seating area. Our server was polite and quick, and got us drinks and the biscuits almost immediately. The Bloody Mary was flavorful and not overdone, and I was impressed with the local options on the beer list. The food was delicious. I followed the recommendation and had the delicious huevos rancheros, which were to die for. My daughter went with the lobster benedict and couldn't have been more pleased. Great spot; everything was delicious, and we loved it.

Spacious | Fun | Ice Cream | carrots Spacious - The restaurant is very spacious, featuring both outdoor and indoor areas. When the weather is nice, the indoor space opens all its windows and doors, seamlessly blending with the outdoor area. This setup creates a great atmosphere, especially on summer or fall days. Fun -The restaurant has a great atmosphere with a mix of students, professionals, and others enjoying a fun vibe. Ice Cream - Right next to the restaurant, there's a cute ice cream shop that has a great selection of hard ice cream and delicious milkshakes. It's the perfect spot to wrap up your night, whether you're on a date, hanging out with your kid, or just treating yourself to something sweet. They have all kinds of flavors, from classic vanilla to fun seasonal options, so there's something for everyone. Plus, the friendly staff and cozy seating make it a nice place to enjoy your treat and make some fun memories. Carrots - the absolute highlight of the meal was the glazed carrots. They are the ideal side or appetizer dornthr group. One of the best sides I've had in 2025. Pro tip - They do not have a military discount. Pro tip - they do not have a ton of parking. So budget another 5-10 minutes to your travel.

Millie's was a great restaurant! Even after happy hour, it was packed which is always a good sign. We started with a Froze while waiting for outdoor seating. They were cool and refreshing and probably the best Froze i've has in a while. The only downside was the heat and bugs , it would've been great if they had fans or some kind of bug repellent to make it more comfortable. Now, let's get into the food: We began with the chips and trio dip (guac, queso, and salsa) simple, fresh, and delicious. It was the perfect starter to snack on while we waited. The quesadilla had zucchini in it, which was a refreshing twist. It was flavorful, filling, and a great way to sneak in some veggies. My friend loved it!The elote was creamy and well-seasoned I could've done without the nuts or seeds on top, but I'd still order it again without it. The Rockfish was the star of the night crispy on the outside, perfectly flaky on the inside. It was served over jasmine rice that was green (maybe cilantro-based?) and absolutely delicious. 10/10! We ended dinner with some ice cream from the stand outside the restaurant. I got s'mores, and my friend had vanilla with Oreos. Both were tasty and a fun way to finish off the night. Our server was fantastic friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a great time and I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu!

Food was kind of bland, especially the crab fried rice. Didn't really get the umami taste or flavor. The dish just overall lacked the depth of flavor but I guess it's expected from a place that doesn't specialize in an Asian dish. The quesadillas were decent but nothing worth revisiting. They could get a bit greasy since the peppers, steaks and onions were all sautéed in oil and covered in melted cheese. Overall the quesadilla flavors didn't really meld together for an overall better taste.

I tried a variety of dishes including the lobster dinner, lobster roll, lobster spring roll, and the branzino, and unfortunately each one was just mediocre. None of the dishes stood out in terms of flavor or execution, which was disappointing given how appealing the menu sounded. The atmosphere is nice and the service was solid, but the food just didn't live up to the hype. With such a strong focus on seafood, I expected the lobster dishes especially to shine, but they fell flat. Overall, Millie's felt more like a spot for the vibe than for the food. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT6qm7Bjc/

We had a great meal at Millie's and I am so glad I finally got to try my friend's regular local spot. I had the trio of dips (that queso! ), potstickers, frose (omg!!!), chicken sandwich but grilled and topped things off with s'mores ice cream. Super cute atmosphere and the food is like an elevated Chilis/Fridays and a step below The Smith.

I did that they could take a big group reservation. We were 15 people and they were able to provide separate checks. Ryan was very efficient in taking our orders. I got the riptide, which was amazing and the potstickers. While I liked the sauce, it was a little overpowering. The meat was also cooked variably inside-my first potsticker had a little bit of pink and the last one I ate was a tad overcooked and tough. They were pork and shrimp, though I only tasted pork. Loved my drink and will come back for more!

A great energetic neighborhood vibe with a diverse menu, great service and yummy food! Marjorie was our server and she was wonderful. We had various tacos and sandwiches, plus the shrimp/oyster starter and biscuits with jam. Everything was wonderful -- very impressed with how perfectly cooked and chilled the shrimp were. Lots of thought goes into the sides too -- the bean salad and mixed rice that accompanied the mains were delish. Decor is charming. Staff were plentiful and attentive. Only wish is for salt and pepper on the table. The tacos could have used a bit, and we all like black pepper on our raw oysters.

It's an alright place! Sometimes the service is better than other times!!! Food quality is mediocre and service is not terrible! Overall the dishes we ordered were not something to hold your breath for, but if you are hungry and need to grab a bite, then why not give it a try. My food was kind of on a smaller plate, the avocado was placed on a small piece of toast!!! Was not like your expected avocado multigrain toast. More like a kids size! No joke Prices have gone up sizes went down lol We will make this restaurant our last option, if we had to go again.

To elevate a mocktail instead of just making an expensive juice spritz is much appreciated. I must mention we did go here right after our engagement (which happened to be after a 16 hour flight back from New Zealand). We came during happy…read morehour, hoping to sit at the bar and enjoy the food menu, but unfortunately, the bar seats were full. We ended up sitting at a table and enjoyed a variety of dishes along with some happy hour drinks. The ambiance is clean, modern, and pretty cool. The service was fairly quick overall, and our food arrived fresh without much waiting. My first drink was the white sangria, which was well-balanced, moderately sweet, and refreshing. The wines we tried also had great flavor. The happy hour deals on the alcohol menu are especially generous, so I highly recommend taking advantage of them. The ceviche sampler included traditional, cremoso, and callejero. Each ceviche was unique and packed with flavor. My personal favorite was the street-style ceviche, callejero. The tostones, or crispy fried plantains, were light and crunchy. My partner isn't a big fan of mayo-forward sauces, but he really enjoyed the crab salad topping because it paired well with the tostone. My favorite was the shrimp topping as the shrimp were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The conchitas a la parmesana was another interesting dish featuring seared scallops. They were grilled with a creamy Parmesan sauce and served with ciabatta. I found that the sauce was a little overpowering and took away from the scallop itself, but I really enjoyed eating it with the ciabatta. Lastly, we ordered two empanadas: one chicken and one made with a mix of sirloin and tenderloin. The dough was a little too oily for my taste, but it was thin and flaky. The chicken and beef fillings had slightly different seasonings and textures, and both were enjoyable. If I could add one thing, I wish our server had explained more about the menu or drinks when she asked whether it was our first time there. She also wasn't around the table consistently, which made it a little difficult to order additional drinks and dishes. Other than that, we really enjoyed the meal, and I'm glad we came here. I'd love to come back for brunch or another happy hour!

Food was good per normal for Clyde's. I think I had the chicken sandwich for the Monday happy hour special, but I don't quite remember. I just know I enjoyed the food. This was my only time at this location. I had been to Alexandria location the most when lived around there in 2010's. This location has nice decor of various sea vessels and aquatic themes. All the locations of Clyde's are pretty nice, but this may have been nicest in my opinion. My friend & I paid for half of the birthday friend's meal. She already had a couple of beers at the bowling alley beforehand. She had ordered a bottle of wine for the table. Ok fine, it was her birthday celebration. I had a glass, my friend had a glass, and she had the rest of the bottle. Wine was good. She was a bit inebriated. But it gets worse... So, we are getting through our meals. And she explains to the server, I'll take ANOTHER BOTTLE. We were VERY concerned. My friend & I drank more this time to prevent her from drinking so much, but we weren't happy. We were all kind of buzzed, but she was flat out drunk. We had picked her up, so at least she was never driving as she was in no condition whatsoever to drive. Then, I had take her back to her parent's house, where her car was. I didn't feel comfortable, and her parents could tell she was in no condition to drive. Her parents were visibly upset, and it was awkward for us. Her dad drove her car, and her mom drove her own car back to her condo 3 miles away. It was a long ordeal that night. But in summary, Clyde's itself did a great job per usual and also on the house birthday dessert too was nice treat.
