I started coming to Millennium Dental about 12-13 years ago. I fell and smashed my two front teeth and was devastated. I found this office in the Yellow Pages. Yep. That's right, the good ole Yellow Pages. I liked their add and gave them a call. They could tell how nervous I was when I called and got me in same day. After evaluating me, they suggested vaneers. I actually started crying. I was so nervous. Lots of my friends had vaneers and their gums were black around them or they were way too white compared to their other teeth and stood out. Dr. Baha assured me that he did the best work and used the best materials and not to worry! I scheduled the appointment and got my vaneers. He colored matched my teeth perfectly! He took me outside to look in natural lighting and also looked from every otter lighting possibility. I was absolutely amazed and in love with my new teeth! People couldn't even tell I had vaneers. I've referred tons of people to Millennium Dental and all have been just as stoked as I am with the quality and service. Fast forward about 12 years. I was stupid and bit right into a Laffy Taffy and cracked my vaneers. Yikes! First of all I am stupid for doing that, but second of all, I can't believe these suckers were done so well they lasted me this long! Anyway, I called Dr. Baha and got scheduled for new vaneers. Today was the day! This set looks even more amazing than the first! I'm so thrilled! Dr. Baha and staff are amazing! I'm so glad I found them all these years ago! Hopefully he stays in practice another 13 years! read more

Absolutely do not recommend. During my exam, I was told things look good and then the estimate k was given was for 10 cavities to be filled. TEN. I went to a second dentist for another opinion and they explained Dr. Baha was using a very, very old technique and did nor agree with his approach. read more

I have been going to dr. Baha for about 20 years. You will not find a more honest dentist. Very caring and very skilled. He hasn't disappointed yet. Never made me do any work I didn't need. Never overcharged me for anything. I literally got compliments on my root canal when I got an X-ray by an orthodontist. I have done crowns, fillings, root canals, cleaning, deep cleaning, etc. always great work. read more

I've had Dr. Baha as my dentist for over 20 yrs. since I moved on from pediatrics. Millennium Dental is a one stop shop for every type of procedure possible. From routine cleanings, fillings, crowns, implants, and even Invisalign! They have all the latest technologies and quality materials to get any and all jobs done right. I highly recommend Millennium Dental and Dr. Baha. read more

Dr. Baha is a consummate professional. His staff are knowledgeable, attentive and very welcoming. No one (that I know) looks forward to going to the dentist when it involves major work. A cleaning is a nice visit. Bone replacement, post and crown not so much. This is what Dr. Baha specializes in. It was work done over time for healing to make sure all would go well. Everything went exactly as he planned. They let me know what to expect every step of the way. He would show me how the density of the replacement bone was progressing then reschedule another appointment to allow proper healing for the next step. Never was I rushed or forced to move forward. Everything was done to accommodate the best possible outcome for me. Dr. Baha would call me after hours after certain procedures to make sure everything was ok and left me the ability to check-in anytime if any issues arose. I would highly recommend Dr Baha and his staff to anyone. read more

During the week between Christmas & New Years I started getting this horrible tooth pain...that got worse every day...but my dentist was closed all week :( My friend I told me that Dr.Baha's office was open and that I should call to see if they fit me in...well the day before New Year's Eve they were able to fit me and sort me out with my tooth pain. They were super nice & even though it was painful they were able to ease my pain as much as possible. It did result in a root canal but at the end of the day I was just happy to be able to get such great service! I would totally recommend them and they are my new dentist office. read more

My family has been going to Dr. Baha for many years. He is a good man and always takes great care of us. The office is clean, the staff is friendly and we always feel safe. He sometimes makes suggestions if and when we need certain other treatments, but we never feel pressure. In fact, quite the opposite. We have referred many friends to Millennium Dental. read more

As a long time patient, I can't say enough about this place. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive & accommodating. I make a long 45 minute trek to visit Dr.Baha because it's always well worth it. I recommend Millennium to everyone. read more

The staff was nice but I had to wait 35 minutes and my teeth don't feel clean. To give them the benefit of the doubt they kept saying it's a really busy day. The lobby is very nice and great magazines. I read several of them in the time I had to wait. There's no cell phone reception in the lobby so many sure to BRING SOMETHING TODO while you're waiting. I had my X-rays done, everything was great there. and then they put me back into the waiting room! As for the cleaning, I have great dental health from the beginning so I normally don't take very long at all. This hygienist barely touched my teeth. I have a built in bottom retainer and can see the calcium that is built up behind it. When I got home there is still some build up that I can see. They also didn't have the floss threaders so they didn't floss those teeth. I've never been to a dentist appointment where they don't floss all your teeth. The dentist spent about 3 minutes talking to me. He said some stuff to the hygienist and started walking away. I had to ask what he was saying to her. All in all, I had to wait in the lobby for longer than it took them to clean my teeth and give me an exam. read more

At first I had a really good impression of this practice: great location, very clean, friendly and efficient staff. As I got a few appointments in, their scamming pattern became pretty evident. In the initial cleaning, the dentist spent MAYBE 10 minutes cleaning my teeth after xrays. In all of the time I have ever had a dental cleaning, a hygienist has always performed that task and spent 20-30 minutes working on my teeth. The dentist also found a minor cavity that he drilled and filled on site without any novacaine. The procedure was completely painless, but based on future experiences I wonder if I even needed it at all. Then the dentists recommends that I have a deep cleaning because I REALLY need it. (Well, yea, I do because you just did a really crappy regular cleaning.) I ignore my instincts and decide if the insurance will cover the deep cleaning I will give it a try because I have never had one. The deep cleaning was no better than any regular cleaning I have had with a qualified dental hygienist. Also, while I am in the appointment, the dentist tries to upsell me on facial services. He then goes to the extent of walking me over to the room where they offer medspa like services to show it off. The last thing I associate with relaxation is the dentist and I don't like to be upsold during any medical appointment. At this point, the receptionist tries to get me to book another cleaning three months later. I then ask her if my insurance covers it (knowing that they wouldn't) and she backs up and says, well we just recommend that you have cleanings every three months. Another upsell, thank you. Time goes by and I get a voicemail from Millennium Dental reminding me of my appointment, that I know for damn sure I didn't book. That was my final straw with this dentist. They sell you services you don't need, book appointments with you that aren't covered and treat you like an idiot. Co-workers have had worse experiences than I have- one person told me they recommended she get a crown. She got a second opinion from a respectable dentist that said she didn't need anything. They also remarked on how unclean her teeth were when she had just gotten a cleaning from Millennium. read more

Noel and Rose at the front desk are super nice and chatty. I've never been offered coffee and snacks at a dentist office before, but it was totally necessary on my first visit! I had a LONG day at work. I made the appointment due to some tooth pain, I suspected a cracked filling in my molar. It turned out that my tooth is pretty bad and it needed some reinforcement, couldn't just fill it in again. Dr. Baha presented me with options, which I appreciated. Rose walked me through the payment options and we worked out a fair deal. She handled all of my insurance questions quickly so I was all set for my followup appointment. The whole process took at least two hours. I was pretty bummed about that. Since I had been up since 3am for work, I asserted myself that they needed to just do what they were gonna do and I needed to LEAVE! Dr. Baha set me up with a temp cap and Rose gave me a Starbucks gift card on my way out for my troubles. So nice! My followup appointment was smoother and quicker. I enjoyed watching the flat screen TV too :) Dr. Baha and his staff are really cool and REAL people. I like doing business with them! read more

I don't use social media very much . Especially when I saw a news broadcast about companies who receive great reviews on YELP and all of a sudden they start getting lower than average reviews in order for YELP to sell their own services to remove the bad comments. Had been going here for a couple of years and i was generally pleased, though never felt they were that detail oriented. Recently i paid to have a cavity filled (no insurance) and it wasn't done correctly. Returned 2 times and they couldn't correct it. Dr Baha felt it was ok to insult me and tell me that my parents couldn't afford the right braces when i was younger!!! I know he was upset that he couldn't bill my insurance for his time as i pay cash and it took 3 visits and there was still no remedy. Insulting my parents is no way to get new business. I learned about Millennium Dental after my husband found Dr. Baha online when needing an emergency dental treatment. He raved about his experience with Dr. Baha and the entire office staff. After having a horrible experience with another dentist office, I was ready to find a new dentist right away. I was not disappointed. Dr. Baha and the entire team at Millennium Dental are, without a doubt, the best dental office around. I've been a patient for over four years now and still remember how impressed I was with this practice at my initial visit. The office is always clean, calm, and the staff welcoming. They offer coffee, water, and a very nicely appointed waiting area (which I don't get to use because they never keep me waiting)! Angela and Anna are friendly and great about working with my schedule to get me in for my cleanings on time. They handle insurance claims like the pros they are. At my first cleaning, Dr. Baha found I had a small cavity (missed by that former dentist somehow). He asked if I wanted it filled. I assumed I would have to schedule another appointment, take more time off work, etc. Instead, he said he could do it right then. And he did. I was done in just 10 more minutes. It bears noting as well that after my son was born, the office sent us a congratulations card and a gift certificate for a spa treatment for me. Enough said. Amazing, right? I've had most of my former dental work repaired or replaced now and have been so pleased with the results. My smile looks and feels better. I even recently went ahead with Invisalign treatments after inquiring about it with the doctor. They don't do any high pressure sales techniques or push you into procedures needlessly. I've always felt that I was in very capable hands at Millennium Dental. read more

I hate going to the dentist but Dr. Baha and his associates are seriously the best. From my initial onboarding and welcome experience to scheduling follow ups, the service was no less than stellar. I hasn't been to the dentist in 6 years (yeah that one is on me), but they in no way made me feel ashamed, they just simply were there to help and educate! Would HIGHLY recommend this office and team for your dental health!! read more

I decided to give Millennium Dental a try after my husband tried them out and raved about his experience. We had both been to a really dodgy dentist previously, and were in desperate need of an honest, caring, no-pressure dentist who wasn't trying to nickle and dime us at every turn. Dr. Baha fit the bill perfectly, and we truly could not be happier with the service he provides. Dr. Baha has a very gentle, soothing manner about him that puts you right at ease. He and his team will do everything they can to save you money and to work with your insurance so that your out-of-pocket expense is kept to a minimum. His office is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and it almost has a "spa" like feeling to it with the decor and natural light. Everyone who works there is warm and friendly (in a sincere way), and I actually enjoy my visits to the dentist now, which is a first for me! read more

Since moving to San Diego 3 years ago it has been hard to find a professional, carrying and affordable dental office.I have found it in Millennium Dental. The staff is amazing and friendly.Dr. Baha is fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and always explains what he is doing, which makes dental work less intimidating.I can't get over how much time actually he spends with his patients. He has taken care of my entire family. He has done root canal and two crowns for me and also he was great with extraction for my husband. We trust his work and his advice completely, and all of his work has been outstanding.I highly recommend Dr.Baha to anyone in need of a great dentist! read more

UPDATE: The crowns and fillings Dr. Baha gave my husband was shoddy work! After going to a reputable dentist, it was discovered that everything needed to be redone and replaced. Cost over $3,000 and 7hours to fix his mistakes. We had 3 different dentists verify this is what needed to be done after our untrustworthy experience with Dr. Baha. I should've written this review a long time ago, but at least I'm speaking u. My husband and I were patients of Dr. Baha for years. Back when Rose was his receptionist. She was so sweet and thorough with our appointment scheduling and insurance billing. We really missed her when she retired. Her replacements weren't very friendly. The last time I was there, I was told I needed X-rays or else my insurance was not going to cover the cleaning/checkup. I should've walked out right then and there. It didn't sound right, but I was coerced into getting the X-rays done. The cleaning ended with the most awful flossing where the assistant would thread the floss through my gums instead of getting them out through the space in my teeth. I had to get her to stop after the 2nd tooth. It was like getting rope burns on your gums, but with floss. I later called our insurance to inquire about the X-rays. They told me that is absolutely not their policy and my coverage was for 2 cleanings every year regardless of X-rays. I knew something was off, because our dental plan had been the same for the last 3 years. That was our last visit. I can tolerate strange flossing, but I cannot tolerate dishonesty. read more

Br. Baja is the worst dentist I've ever had. I'm 68 years old. I asked him to make a bite guard. After 4 visits to adjust the bite guard, it still doesn't fit. usually I get one bite guard adjustment, or none at all. I've had about 7 bite guards in the past. During one of my visits to Dr. Baja, he kept me waiting so long that I eventually just walked out. Now he says I have to pay him $60 for any more adjustments. If he did his job right, I wouldn't need anymore adjustments. I'll just throw away this crappy bite guard and warn all you readers to avoid Dr. Baja. read more

The entire staff is very professional and attentive. They are incredibly thorough in their examination during my first visit, from x-rays to pictures, to the personal evaluation of my teeth. Dr. Zobair Baha is pleasant and professional. He is patient, very detailed and does every job close to perfect. Unlike many dentists I have been to, he is very focused in making sure that you have healthy teeth before anything, which, says a lot about his integrity. I had a lot of dental work previously and I was a bit nervous to have work done, but Dr. Zobair Baha put my mind at ease. He took the time to make sure everything was done well. I have referred a handful of people to Dr. Zobair Baha, and all have said the same thing... very professional, very thorough. Dr. Zobair Baha is the best dentist I have ever been to in San Diego/ Encinitas! After several really bad experiences with prior dentist he has been able to not make me despise visiting the dentist. Will definitely recommend him ! read more

The short and sour version: THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF, DO NOT COME HERE. I came here for a semi annual cleaning appointment. They took X-Rays, then polished my teeth, which I thought was weird since they hadn't cleaned them yet. I asked about it and the hygienist said the dentist prefers to have polished teeth to work so he can see better. The dentist came in and said I didn't have any cavities, but I had bone loss. I'm a healthy male in his twenties, this took me by surprise. I haven't ever had a cavity, yet I have bone loss in my teeth? The dentist then proceeded to prod each of my gums and record some sort of measurement. He also kept muttering things like SPL3 and Overture 4. He then said that I need a deep cleaning which isn't covered by my insurance and was going to be over $800. I said I was just interested in my semi annual cleaning. He left and sent out the receptionist who told me the dentist had already done the basic cleaning. When I complained that all he had done was prod my gums, he didn't actually scrap any tarter off, she left and came back and said he wouldn't do the basic cleaning unless I paid for the deep cleaning. What a scam. Save yourself the time and frustration of a dentist who is only trying to up sell you on shit you don't need. Couldn't believe the line that he "wouldn't do the basic cleaning unless I paid for the deep clean". read more

It has now been six months and I tried a new alternate dentist due to my poor experience with this one. The dentist asked me where I came from and why. I begin to tell them my experience about up selling and recommendations of services and procedures I did not need. The new dentist was able to guess where I came from. I am frustrated that the reviews from others about this dentist were so inaccurate and lead me in the wrong direction. I question where the good reviews came from. I have now found a great dentist that I trust and have scheduled my next visit in 6 months. Similar to another post on here, he also sold my wife a nightguard that she did not need. My wife told him that she wears her current night guard at night and he still forced his own night guard on her. My new dentist complimented how well my teeth were taken care of. When I visited this dentist he stressed how bad my teeth were and recommended a deep cleaning along with other services that were unnecessary. read more

(I apologize in advance for my novel:) I have been living in North County for nearly 4 years now and have been on a mission to find a dentist that I like and a place I'm comfortable at...and it has been a journey for sure! I've based my picks on Yelp reviews so far and have had a couple BAD experiences with local dental offices that are rated 5 STARS here on Yelp. I WILL say that both of those experiences were mostly negative due to the dental hygienists and not the dentist him or her-self, but still...I base my rating on the ENTIRE experience from when I walk in the door to when I leave...and both my previous dental visits left me running from those offices never to return again. At one I had to have my entire mouth numbed just to get a basic cleaning...it was so aggressive and painful. The other had a hygienist who must have just come in from a cigarette break and her hands REAKED of smoke as she put them in my mouth to clean my teeth. I was gagging...then the X-rays were actually painful as the technician (admittedly) didn't know what she was doing. She had to call in help. The roof of my mouth was left with a cut. ANYWAYS, this morning (9/6) I went to Dr. Baha's office after my husband raved about his experience there getting a crown done. I was nervous for another cleaning after my last one (7 months ago) and the previous experience having to be numbed half-way though as it was so sensitive and causing pain. However, I had NO reason to be nervous--everyone was super nice as soon as I walked in the door. Both the women behind the desk where friendly and greeted me. They offered me water or coffee while I filled out my paper work. I had routine X-rays done and they were simple and easy (no big instrument shoved in my mouth cutting me up). My cleaning was done by the hygienist and was easy-peasy. I watched HGTV in my chair with a beautiful ocean breeze coming in the window. The lights were dimmed. The entire office was relaxing actually (no ugly overhead office lights). Dr. Baha came in and introduced himself. He was extremely nice, extremely calm & chill, took the time to talk to me and address my issues/past experiences, etc. I liked him a lot. My cleaning was thorough and completely painless. I did have one small filling that had fallen out recently and I could see the hole where it was (was on the top of a tooth) so I had no reason to think he was making up fake cavities (to respond to another person's review). I had it filled with NO pain medication at all. It was quick and easy. Let me remind you: at the previous dentist I had 3-4 novocain shots JUST to clean my teeth!! Here I had a cavity filled with NOTHING. I'll be honest: After reading some of the Yelp reviews just last night before my appointment (usually I do my research BEFORE booking an appointment but this time I just went with my husband's review), I was a little apprehensive about what my experience would be. I went in this morning completely skeptical and ready to pounce. I would NOT be up-sold. I would seek a 2nd or 3rd opinion on anything that was thrown at me. However, I had to worry about NONE of that. It was a GREAT experience. I'll be going back! :) read more

So far so good. I've been twice and customer service is great and everyone is really nice!

I have been coming here for years and have always gotten the most gentle and honest care. They respond to emergencies immediately too, which is great if something comes up. The biggest thing I enjoy about this practice is the the highly skilled staff and that you are never pressured to do expensive procedures that you do not need. I tested the theory by seeing 2 different other dentists prior, who told me I had over a dozen cavities and needed multiple crowns. When I came to Millenium after that, I was evaluated for needing a couple fillings. What a big difference! I won't trust anyone else with my teeth. read more
