Shocked to see the range of reviews, I can only speak to my experiences over the last several years and recent work. Front of house staff were great, accommodating and friendly. I always find everyone here friendly. Dr. Parks went over everything carefully and costs were covered by staff before going forward. I like the fact that I never get pressured to do more than I need. And with this recent emergency (cracked tooth and infection) they did everything possible to get me in quickly and relief. I had to go to the other office because of the doctors schedules but had the same experience there. Everyone trying their best to get me the services I needed. Not fun to have a bad experience with any medical service, but I'm confident in the excellent service I received from Dr. Parks and his team. read more

I've been going to this practice out of convenience, despite always waiting past my appointment times for Dr. Chin. However, my last visit broke my trust. Dr. Chin claimed I had "leakage" and needed a brand-new crown. The office quoted my out-of-pocket portion--after insurance--at an outrageous $1,400. Knowing friends who paid between $500-$800 total in other cities, I decided to get a second opinion. I went right around the corner to Dr. Snow, who offers free second opinions. My daughter started going there and is always so happy after her appointments. No one is happy, after the dentist, right? So, I go see the AMAZING Dr. Snow. I deliberately didn't tell him what Dr. Chin had diagnosed so he could perform an unbiased evaluation. Dr. Snow's finding? Zero leakage. All I actually needed was a standard filling. When I told him what she recommended, he said emphatically, "not needed." I hate writing negative reviews, but patients should be aware of excessive treatment recommendations and inflated billing at this office. Get a second opinion before committing to major work here. Dr. Snow is around the corner. He is a surgeon too, so he doesn't need to rack up care and overcharge because his practice has many facets to it. His staff is amazing. My mom is going to start seeing him too. There is always good to be found. So thank you, Dr. Chin. I had an appointment scheduled for 11/18 that I made weeks ago. Camino Dental calls me today (24 hrs before my appt) to let me know the time of my appointment is not available. If that time is not available why was I allowed to make the appointment to begin with? And why am I getting notified about this 24 hrs before my appt when the appointment was made weeks ago? I have been a customer for several years and the service has never been stellar. After this latest inconvenience, I am now in the market for a new dentist. read more

This dental office is a fraud. I have had the same insurance for years and my dental cleaning has always been covered 100%. Now they are telling me I am not covered. I called my insurance and verified my coverage and explained the cleaning I was receiving from this dental office. They told me that procedure is 100% covered and the only reason the dentist is charging you is because they're sending the claim under the wrong code. The insurance company gave me the right code based on my previous claims and type of cleaning I was receiving. They asked me to provide the dentist with the right code. I called the office back and she's accusing me of insurance fraud and they would not change anything based on what the insurance rep is telling me even though I never had to pay at their own office for years of me going there! Be aware of this Office. I am going to have my insurance look in to them and their false claims to make more money from their patients. read more

I highly recommend that you never go to this place! The staff is rude. procedures are hasty. They are only interested in doing more work and charging you a lot. The manager is inconsiderate and the whole practice is worthless. Find another group, but do not go to this one. I am extremely dissatisfied and hope that you do not go to these people. they want you to pay for a to a water donation and after you've paid and don't use it, you can never get your money back. I have had an implant by Dr. Viet Ton That several years ago and he did an excellent job that has been totally trouble free. In 2025 I had a broken tooth that had a filling, and Dr. Clinton Park was able to save the tooth and put a crown on it. Yesterday, 01/20/2025 I had an examination by Dr. Park and cleaning by Ms. Chin who did a very thorough job. They overcharged me for a root canal which they were supposed to be in-network. We've tried multiple times to have them refund our card to match what insurance had on the EOB and we're still waiting. DO NOT prepay for service. Insist that it will run through insurance first and you will pay the part they don't cover. If they don't agree, look elsewhere. read more

I wish I would have done my research prior to coming here as a first time patient. If you wish to experience professionalism and empathy at a dental practice, I recommend doing your research and going somewhere else. I came back a second time within a week and a half after having a chip in my front tooth fixed because of how inconsistent and unnatural the filling felt after my first appointment. Upon leaving the first time, Dr. Jones rushed out of the appointment without asking how the filling felt or if I had any questions. The filling originally felt extremely thick, uneven and gritty compared to my other tooth, and I just wanted it to feel a little more natural; when I asked if she can make it feel more natural and even, she took a lot off and then it felt way too thin and sharp. The entire process was rushed so since it looked decent enough, I left against my better judgement. I understand it was a busy morning but I've never undergone that type of treatment when visiting a healthcare professional. A few days went by and aesthetically it looked nice but it still felt gritty and uneven in the back of my tooth. I decided to call and ask to be seen by a different dentist to get a second opinion but was told I can only be seen by the same person unless I wanted to pay more out of pocket to be seen by somebody else. I wanted to get my money's worth so I decided to be seen again by Dr. Jones. It's been about two weeks now and my tooth is slowly chipping every day even while being extremely cautious and taking necessary precautions. It's been a disappointing process and I hope to have a better experience at a different dental practice. Invest your time and money elsewhere if you can. read more

I went in for a cleaning and told the dentist I did not want X rays taken since it has been 7 mos. since my last X rays. She was not happy that she couldn't convince me otherwise and quickly became nasty. Her tone and condescending attitude was not something expected from a professional. I went in there for a simple routine cleaning, which I have two a year at no cost, but they wanted to extract teeth, use lasers on my gums, and other treatments. I ended up wasting an hour or so and left with nothing done. I will not go back there again and will not recommend that office to anyone. read more

My family and I have been going to Dr. Park's Camino Dental Group for over twenty years. I trust Dr. Park implicitly because he does impeccable work, is conservative dental wise, and offers his expertise without pressure. Everyone associated with his practice is top notch as well, from the friendly people at the front desk, to the technicians, hygienist, and other doctors. I no longer have dental insurance, but I purchased the Smile discount plan, which makes the prices reasonable, even larger projects like crowns. I also got my implant here, which was pricier of course, but it is still going strong after six years. The office is clean, modern, and attractive, and they play great music too. I really don't have enough good things to say about Camino Dental and don't understand why some people underrate it. read more

I had the crown done on 2014 on April. My gum is bleeding a lot recently and the other dentist told me the crown is not properly installed and need to be redo. However, it is less then 5 year, I have to paid out of my pocket. El Camino dental group's only goal is to make money. They had the endodontist go to their location without proper equipment to do my root canal, so they can charge more. The endodontist was late for the appointment, he did my root canal twice for more than 2 hours and didn't succeed. He told me I should look for other endodontist and will reimburse me. I had the root canal done by other endodontist and they told me the endodontist from El Camino Group punched a hole in my canal and caused damage. At the end, El Camino still want to charged me for the root canal treatment that damage my root canal. For the crown part, they already charged the insurance and I also paid, there is no way to pull out. I was praying that bad thing should not happen twice. No luck with me, the crown was not installed properly and need to be redo. I had such bad gum bleeding, it also cause my ear ringing because the nerve is very close to ear. It is a symptom called Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorder. I had the worst dental experience in El Camino Dental group. read more

They said I needed crown for a small crack -not true. I got the temp crown and had much pain. Then got the regular crown. Lots of pain. it bothered me so much that they said I needed root canal. Hard to feel like I was not scammed by this office. After being convinced by the staff after a 3 hour insurance ordeal over the phone, I was convinced that an insurance policy offered by the office would cover my cleaning. This was not true. After paying the 119$ policy fee, the cost of my cleaning came out to 580$ WITH their insurance. Needless to say I did not accept this pricing. I was however on the hook for the 59$ X-ray. So I wasted an entire morning and still do not have a cleaning. To be fair the staff was polite, and fair. I was however not alerted that cleanings run 580$ after the insurance fee of 119 (total of 696$) For a cleaning! read more

My first visits were in February/March 2023. The dental practice told me my gums were close to periodontitis stage and sold me an unnecessary treatment costing hundreds of dollars. On my visit to my new dentist yesterday, I was assured that my gums were in good condition with 2 and 3 scores (which had always been my previous scores), not the 4-6 scores on my Camino Dental exam. Camino Dental also told me this periodontitis treatment was covered by my insurance. When I received my invoice and insurance statement, I found that it was not. I also paid for a fluoride treatment and while covered by my insurance they billed me for it. I also got a line-item billing for "instructions" ($88) along with several other line items stated as "unspecified treatment"($155). The next incident happened when they quoted me $1200 for a porcelain crown and the day I was scheduled, I called to verify this, and they told me they didn't they didn't offer porcelain and tried to charge me $1700 for one made of a different material. I cancelled the appointment and said I would not be returning to that practice. The latest incident occurred this month. After 3.5 weeks of trying to obtain a copy of my dental x-rays to take to my new dentist, they promised to send me an e-file of my x-rays. After failing to comply with their promise to do so several times, I showed up at their office and was told that that they did not have the capability of electronic sending and gave me two black and white, poorly printed documents that could not be used by my new dentist. If I could, I would give them 0 stars. Worst experience I've ever had with a business and/or medical practice. read more
