I visited Dr Simmons to see about getting dental work repaired from a previous dentist who did a poor job. I found Dr Simmons smart and helpful and she was able to help me resolve some of my issues. However, one of my primary questions (I asked multiple times) in my visits was to see if I had any metal filling or crowns so I could have them removed. Previous to meeting Dr Simmons I had tested positive for mercury so this was one of my primary concerns. In multiple occasions, Dr. Simmons assured me that I had no metal crowns or metal fillings from previous dentists. Having trusted her, I spent the next year hunting down my issues with no success. A year later I visited another dentist who confirmed for me that I had three metal crowns and a mercury filling! I now feel great having those removed. Dr Simmons completely missed the mark here and I am very disappointed with her service and will never go back! read more

The environment is relaxing and they have tv's to watch while they are working on your teeth. That's a fun option to have. This time I had an abscess from a failed root canal (done by an endodontist in Seattle) which require tooth extraction. Her focus on minimal discomfort for the patient made even extraction, another pleasant visit with Dr Simmons and her staff. 15+ years ago I had a cap, on a front tooth, come off during a business trip. I was going to Asia, for three weeks, after SoCal--I needed to get the tooth fixed and it was a weekend. A friend introduced Dr Simmons--she came in on the weekend to fix my tooth without any staff.
