I visited Dr Simmons to see about getting dental work repaired from a previous dentist who did a poor job. I found Dr Simmons smart and helpful and she was able to help me resolve some of my issues. However, one of my primary questions (I asked multiple times) in my visits was to see if I had any metal filling or crowns so I could have them removed. Previous to meeting Dr Simmons I had tested positive for mercury so this was one of my primary concerns. In multiple occasions, Dr. Simmons assured me that I had no metal crowns or metal fillings from previous dentists. Having trusted her, I spent the next year hunting down my issues with no success. A year later I visited another dentist who confirmed for me that I had three metal crowns and a mercury filling! I now feel great having those removed. Dr Simmons completely missed the mark here and I am very disappointed with her service and will never go back! read more

I've been Dr Simmons' patient for 15+ years and I live in Seattle and Scottsdale. This time I had an abscess from a failed root canal (done by an endodontist in Seattle) which require tooth extraction. Her focus on minimal discomfort for the patient made even extraction, another pleasant visit with Dr Simmons and her staff. 15+ years ago I had a cap, on a front tooth, come off during a business trip. I was going to Asia, for three weeks, after SoCal--I needed to get the tooth fixed and it was a weekend. A friend introduced Dr Simmons--she came in on the weekend to fix my tooth without any staff. I love that I get email notifications when I schedule an appointment and a reminder email when the date is getting close. The environment is relaxing and they have tv's to watch while they are working on your teeth. That's a fun option to have. The biggest reason why I trust Dr. Simmon's is because she helped save my front tooth. I had gotten a recommendation from a dentist saying I should pull out my front tooth due to an infection I had. Absolutely amazing experience! Dr. Simmons and her team are truly exceptional in every way. I have to credit Dr. Simmons for the success of her team because it all starts with her and the tone that she sets in the office. My tooth broke last night while eating soft Thai noodles of all things, nothing crunchy or hard, I called didn't think anyone would be there but they were and were willing to see me if I could get there right away last night but I couldn't so they took me this morning at 7 AM and Dr. Simmons and her team worked their magic. They were able to get the crown back on the tooth but there actually wasn't a tooth so I'm not really sure what they did except work magic. And magic it is because I am hands-down a dentists nightmare and gag horribly whenever work is done on the back molars. They were all so patient, including Dr. Simmons, just kind and gracious and wonderful and within 31 minutes I was out the door with a caution not to eat or drink for 10 minutes.
