Absolutely my favorite dentist's office of all time. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable - they go out of their way to get to know you. I used to dread going to the dentist, but now I enjoy my visits. Perhaps most importantly, I really appreciate their approach and model for service - they do not recommend unnecessary procedures. (I have been to other offices in the past that focus on the generation of lots of revenue based on unneeded procedures.) How a business can decline so rapidly is beyond me. (Last week in August, 2022) A crown that they had put on had broken from something I bit into. I called and they fit me in to fix it. When he was replacing the broken crown, he told me that the tooth next to it is damaged as well but they don't have enough time to fix it. I told them that I was going on a cruise for my birthday and that I'll be back when I return. So he informed me that as they've gotten busy, it's best to make an appointment. I made an appointment for when I got back. Upon my return, I wasn't feeling well and tested positive for Covid. I called them to cancel my appointment and informed that I'll call back as soon as I test negative and feel better. (Mid September 2022) Couple of weeks later, I call to make an appointment for the other tooth. The receptionist tells me that I need to come in to get checked prior to them doing anything to my tooth. As I explain that I was just there and I am calling to follow up on a particular tooth that the dentist wanted to fix. She giggles as if I'm telling her a joke and repeats that they won't work on me until I come in for an initial check up. I was completely baffled at the lack of professionalism, memory and respect for a long time patient. I was so agitated that I asked for the dentist to talk to me as I'm thinking he'll remember and be more professional. Receptionist (still giggling) says he's busy and will call me back. About 30 minutes later, he calls. Like a broken record, he repeated everything the receptionist said while I hear the receptionist giggling in the background. It was so unprofessional and quite frankly I felt completely betrayed. I initially began coming to this practice because of Tina Saw (dentist) as I felt we bonded and I liked her work and personality. But since 2020, it's been the husband. Although I preferred Tina, I kept getting him and got used to him out of necessity. The difficulty I had post Covid was the changing staff who no longer knew or recognized long time patients, the revolving receptionists who don't hear what you're saying and the severity of the decline in professionalism. I felt so betrayed that there's no way I could return. After being a long time patient, they were trying to squeeze in an extra visit to bill my insurance for an issue that they already pointed out and told me needed fixing. Few months later, I got a text to call to make an appointment which I ignored. The final nail in the coffin was when the same receptionist called me couple of weeks ago (before the end of the year for billing issues) to let me know I need to come in to get the other tooth fixed. I tell her that I'll NEVER GO BACK to that practice. She started laughing as if I told her a joke. Then says bye. Even if they change the receptionist, I wouldn't return for dental care. They squeeze in more check up visits even when the issues have been recognized and an appointment is made. This nickel and dime attitude is horrible! It's hard enough to find time for cleaning, follow ups, check ups and treatment without these additional useless check ups when we already pointed out what the issue is. I basically got punished for canceling post cruise when I had Covid. This type of pettiness is unfortunate and so unprofessional for a dental office. As going to a dentist is stressful enough, I rather go where they know how to treat a client with respect and kindness. Too many options in the area to stay with Elevated Smiles. I, my husband, my friends and nephew will never go back. read more

The people in this office are lovely and the facility is very nice. I would not have known I was getting inferior care had all 3 of my daughter's fillings not cracked within a year. When her new dentist removed the cracked fillings they found that the cavities had not been properly removed. Also noteworthy, those fillings were on molars that had supposedly been sealed. My new dentist has recommended deep cleaning of my gums on both bottom sides due to their current state. I am so disappointed to find that Dr. Luu has not been providing quality care. read more

The daunting task of searching the phone book, online listings, advertisements, personal referrals, etc for a new provider who takes my insurance and was accepting new patients was going to freaking drive me crazy!!! Arghhhhhh!!!! Oh, but wait, I logged on to Yelp and found Elevated Smiles, which is located just minutes from my house, checked out their website, and made an appointment in just under 5 minutes! Easy as pie, well, sugarless pie that is, that doesn't promote tooth decay. Dr Saw and Dr Luu are truly lifesavers for my smile! They are highly educated, trained, and are truly nice people. I also like the fact that they don't sugarcoat things, no pun intended. They are honest, direct, and intelligent in their evaluations and give the best care, attention, and advice possible without any smoke and mirrors. I am grateful for Dr. Luu's attention to my teeth for the last 14 months or so, and feel pretty good about the fillings and cleanings during that time. I do feel that the practice may be more oriented around cosmetics, and the bias for treatment is a little outside my comfort zone. I was dealing with significant dental calculus built up even with regular dental check up, floss+mouth wash+etc. they showed up couple months after regular clean up. My husband and I have stayed with Elevated Smiles because of their amazing dental hygienist Mariselle. Both of us have needed various dental cleanings and she has always taken care of us amazingly. My recent deep cleaning was complex, but she made it look easy because she was so meticulous and knowledgeable. She also took time to answer all my questions and explained the procedure in a way that was easy to understand. My husband who has sensitivities also said she was so skillful that he didn't have any issues, when he has had to be careful with dentists in the past. THIEVES! I have been a client of theirs for years and for the last two years I have been utterly disappointed with the way they value their regulars and how they do business. Not only have I had to come in several times in the same year to fix the same chipped tooth where I ask myself WHY!?! But I purchased their in office dental plan to get my teeth cleaned twice a year for a certain price. They did not honor my second cleaning KNOWING I have been dealing with TMJ and cannot keep my mouth open long enough for a cleaning. They are the ones who referred me to a specialist for the TMJ treatment and I even called to postpone the cleaning and told them my circumstance which they understood at the time. When I went to rebook it they said I would have to pay full price for the cleaning. Same for my once again chipped tooth. They told me the year warranty is void in November and she refused to tell me when in November. Last I checked it is currently November. Horrible business! read more

I've been going to him for a couple years now but he recently earned me as a patient for life when he re did some cosmetic work on my front teeth because I wasn't 100 percent satisfied with the coloring. I never understood why most Dental places aren't open on weekends. We have jobs and school, so why wouldn't they? Elevated Smiles is one of those places that caters to the working family who's only chance to bring our families to get our teeth cleaned, is on weekends. They worked with me on the hours of availability and we were able to schedule an appointment without me even having to pick up the phone. Everything was done through email and I got a text reminder. This is perfect for me since I can't afford to be on the phone while I'm at work. We scheduled both daughters to get their teeth cleaned and my little one needed a form filled out for kindergarten. My kids loved the decor and the place is really clean, it makes me feel better about them cleaning our mouths. That's the saying, right? If they can't keep their place clean and take the time to maintain their clinic, why would you trust them with putting anything in your mouth? My 6-year old loved her experience and loves her toothbrush. She thought it was fun and giggled her entire time there. My little one was a bit more hesitant, they had tv's for her to calm down to, offered to give her balloons and toothbrushes, but she was still nervous. However, both kids were able to pick out a toy from the treasure chest. I thought it was really sweet. My husband and I will be returning to get our teeth cleaned here as well. I'm so incredibly happy that I got the chance to go back here! This whole stay at home thing has been beyond stressful and irritating but I'm looking at it positively since I know I need some work done and can recover at home easily. I would recommend this office to anyone who wants to be treated like a person, rather than a $$$. The office is wonderful and has always been clean, even before this whole thing. Now it's extremely hyper overdrive clean and I'm not complaining, they've taken the proper precautions with sanitizing, spaced out patients so no one has to really be in the room at the same time. The new hvac Systems etc. Everything is safe and clean. Both Dr. Saw and Dr. Luu are wonderful people and even better dentists. They truly are knowledge and care about what's best for you. The office staff is always so friendly and helpful, jasmine is amazing! May the hygienist was so bubbly and friendly as well, it just adds to the experience. I was very happy at this dental office until I went for my annual cleaning. The new office manager Jasmine said I had an outstanding balance and I needed to pay this before I left. I advised her that I was not aware of a balance and never received a bill or a telephone call. Jasmine said the previous manager messed up and should have checked that my cleanings were covered but she didn't and that's why she's not there anymore. I told her their error is not the customers problem and they should have let me know that I have to pay out of pocket before the service not a year later!! Long story short. Dr Saw was gracious enough to waive some items and brought the bill down and she understood the issue. Anyway I won't be back to this office - Update Received a finalized bill. My assistant sent an email and after speaking with Dr Luu he expressed that this wasn't how they do business and will waive the two cleanings. Very unprofessional and impolite. Found out they no longer take my insurance. This is after I left work early, used an hour of my sick time, and drove all the way there. I asked them "don't you have my phone number? I would have appreciated a phone call about this so I wouldn't have driven all the way here and wasted an hour of my sick time." Husband/wife practice that when I started with them I had a lot of dental issues. Fast forward a few years and I have had nothing but great experiences here and healthy teeth/gums. I was so glad to be able to get back in for my regular appointment and to see that their waiting room was socially distanced and not over crowded. The assistants like Nancy always make sure to make me feel welcomed every visit, and Kylie does a great job taking my X-Rays and guiding me through the process. Cynthia, the treatment coordinator explained to me all the information about my deep cleaning thoroughly and clearly. Taylor did my most recent cleaning and made the experience great, but I also can't forget Marisol who did my cleaning prior to that and provided me the best quality experience. This is a dental practice with two dentists, a husband and wife team. I have only been there for a couple visits so I am a relatively new patient. The front office is nice and welcoming and the staff is pleasant and friendly. My husband and I moved here five years ago and were having a hard time finding a dentist we liked after seeing the same dentist for 17 years. When I asked Dr. Saw to explain further I sensed some uncertainty and was not fully convinced. Dr.Luu is one of the only dentists I've ever really trusted. I've had a lot a dentists in the past 30 years and Dr.Luu stands out as top of the line for sure! I'm so grateful that his office takes my insurance. Also he's very good at explaining everything that needs to be done and making sure all your questions are answered.
