Got my only wisdom tooth removed here almost a year ago during the pandemic and it was such an easy experience.

He did not review the records sent over by my dentist. Never bothered gloving up to review the tooth in question.

Starting with my phone call to schedule a consultation, I was truly impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the front office staff. (Susan and Kathy) My first appointment was very reassuring. Dr. Seul is kind, gentle, and fully explained the procedures I'd undergo. When I returned for this surgery a few weeks later, it just couldn't have been any easier. Dr. Seul and Anthony (Surgical Assistant) took wonderful care of me. Everything went exactly as planned-perfect. I'm healing nicely and am grateful for the expert care. My experience with this practice has been absolutely stellar, and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Dr. Seul is just that type of oral surgeon. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable and has impeccable credentials and excellent communication skills. He discussed my care with my physician to come up with a treatment plan that minimized risks from both of their perspectives. He is also extremely compassionate and kind and his calming demeanor helped to lessen my fears about the extraction. I was very nervous about having to have this procedure done and he made the entire process so much less anxiety inducing. The office staff and technicians are also kind and friendly. Everything was clearly explained at each step in the process. I highly recommend Dr. Seul and Encinitas Oral Surgery. No one likes to have a tooth extracted, but if it something that you need to do, Dr. Seul is the right choice!

Due to both surgery and excellent care by the hygienist , John Divinagracia, my mouth is healthier than it has been in 20 years. This office keeps both doctors and staff trained on the most advanced thinking and technology, and it pays off in terms of patient care and outcome. However, all the girls in the back are super nice, professional and great. I absolutely do not recommend Dr. Traxler. He was quite dismissive with me many times. He recommended I have a bone graft and osseous surgery for an ongoing issue I was having with gum along back molar. He knew that I had been on oral and IV bisphosphonate drugs but didn't advise me of some of the issues these could cause with surgery. I had major problems after surgery including two areas of bone exposure along the gum line and delayed healing. He was very dismissive during each after visit and said, I just need to have that tooth pulled. I had always told him that I wanted to keep the tooth as I knew pulling a tooth could lead to many other issues. But he did not want to work with me in preserving the tooth and/or helping me to get this area healed. He said there was nothing more he could do, just go to a surgeon. I immediately changed periodontists. The current doctor was kind, caring, professional and worked with me to save my tooth. And all areas of bone exposure have now healed. Please be careful with this office.

After the consulation, I decided to have all my wisdom teeth removed (at a much older age than typical) and I also had an extra tooth on the upper left side, behind my wisdom tooth. From the consultation appointment, Dr. Witcher and his staff were very kind, thorough and they explained everything very clearly. I scheduled my surgery for the week of my Spring Break (I am a teacher) and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how everything went. I was anxious and nervous about the recovery, but Dr, Witcher and his entire team made the experience so easy. The surgery was over in an hour and I was home by 10 AM. I had no swelling and no pain. I followed all of Dr. Witcher's post-surgery instructions and the hardest part was eating soft food for a week. :) My post-op appointment went well and now 3 weeks later, I am so relieved to be done with this procedure. I am so grateful to Dr. Witcher and his team (front office, nurses, assistants..) for making a very stressful situation extremely easy for me. I am deeply grateful to have found this office and I am so glad that Dr. Witcher was my oral surgeon.
