This was the extent of my regrowth (1 day past 14 days) and they wanted to charge me for a complete set instead of a refill.
    Gherkin R.

I have been here many times for eyebrow waxes because they were so cheap. My husband and I decided to go to TN for vacay, and I wanted to have nice nails for my trip. I already had press on nail decals that I was going to put on my nails, so all I wanted was acrylic nails applied without polish. When I got home the nail decals would not stick to the acrylic so I just painted them myself. When you sit down they make you purchase a file and buffer for 1 dollar that you keep anytime you come in. They write on the back of the card when you recieved your services, initial it, and tell you when to come back in. Apparently, if you dont come back in before 2 weeks, than they will charge you for a full set, regardless how much regrowth you have. I found this out the hard way. I come in today, sign my name and put refill as the services I want to recieve. This woman comes over with a lot of attitude and practically starts interrogating me. She asks me where I had my nails done last (no hi how are you, anything like that) I said here. She gives me a shocked look and asks to see my nails. I show her my nails and she says, no you did not have those done here, we cannot charge you a refill price. I'm like yes, I did get my nails done here, but I painted my nails myself. She then says that I could not have had my nails done there because one of my nails was lifting. (what that has to do with anything, I have no idea....being a 4 yr cosmetology student, I'll tell you that nails will lift regardless) Anyway, she bassically tells me that she doesnt believe me and that she will have to talk to her sister. I'm standing there with thier buffer/file package and thier business card with thier signature on it. Her sister comes up and says, oh yeah, I remember you. You will need to pay for a full set today though because 14 days was up yesterday. (mind you, I just got back from vacation, got my nails done on 9/11 and it is now 9/26.....I was 1 day past 14. I tried to explain that to them and also explain that I just got back from vacation as well..... and they basically start screaming at me in front of the entire salon. I mean full on eye rolls and attitude, not to mention, after I talked to the first woman and was waiting for the sister to be asked if I was liar or not.....she was talking to all her coworkers in thier language and looking over at me. I have panic Disorder, I started to have a panic attack and needed to go into the restroom to compose myself. I was going to leave right then and there, but I wanted my nails cut down to be appropriate for work tomorrow. After getting verbally abused the second time about the refill/fullset....I just walked out. First of all....how are you going to dictate what service I get done on my nails? And let me tell you this as well....I know that it doesnt cost them anymore money in product whether my nails are 1 week, 2 weeks, or 3 weeks grown out. I have gotten my nails done for years and also went to school for cosmetology. The only product they use for a refill is acrylic powder and liquid and they use dental acrylic instead of acrylic made for nails specifically, because it is cheaper. All in all I walked out, I'm not paying someone money to harass, embarass, and verbally abuse me. It really sucks for them because I was actually going to refer a couple of my friends there by taking them there for a girls pamper date. I also was planning on becoming a regular customer. (which is why I brought back my file and buffer kit)....I thought they did good work, but there are other nail salons in the area, who do exceptional work and also relax and pamper the customer (which is 70% of the service) I should have known they were going to be nail nazis when I walk in and there are signs all over saying things like....you mess up nail after payment, 2 dollar charge to fix nail...nail polish on natural nail do not last long....Gel nails $$ extra....so on and so forth. It was just a very shocking experience, and I will never ever be going back and will make sure to warn any of my friends and family about this place. It sucks cause they are a Christian salon and I really wanted to support that.

    Fresh gel manicure.

And to those that complain about spending $1 for the nail kit with a file and buffer, are you crazy?!

Although this salon is beautiful and offers many services, they completely lost my business. I paid…read more$100 for builder gel on my natural nails, which is excessive considering I travel often and have never paid over $70 at other salons. I came in with builder gel already on my nails, and while I agreed to remove the previous set and add a $10 French tip on 4 nails, I was never told about extra charges added at checkout for "soaking off" and "length." Charging extra for removal makes no sense when nails are typically filed down during a new set anyway, and charging for length feels like an unnecessary add-on since maintaining length is part of regular fills and sets. Listing lower prices online only to add surprise fees is misleading, so I'd recommend asking about every charge beforehand. What made this worse is less than two weeks later my builder gel started separating from my natural nails and one completely popped off. During the appointment my nails were also burning badly under the UV light, which has never happened to me before despite getting builder gel regularly for the last 8 months. I called twice to address the issue and the manager has yet to return my call. Between the hidden charges, poor quality work, and lack of customer service, this was by far the worst builder gel experience I've had.

I'm hungry tired and impatient so when I tell them I'm going to grab food he tell me well your going to lose your spot. I had a design for my toes but they couldn't do it so I had to just do French tip because who can ruin that right. The front reception doesn't really care about the customers they care about their money. Nick is a good nail artist but not worth the mistreatment they give us. They can't even accommodate water while we continue waiting.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience…read more Less than a week after my appointment, both of my acrylic big toenails chipped and one of my fingernails broke. I don't do anything strenuous with my hands beyond normal daily activities, so for multiple nails to break so quickly is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the quality of the products being used. What's even more frustrating is the customer service. When I returned to the salon a few days later to explain the issue, I was told that once you leave the salon, there is no guarantee. No effort was made to fix the problem or offer any accommodation. If a salon can't stand behind its work for at least a couple of weeks, why should customers continue spending their time and money there? I actually drive from Philadelphia to come here because I believed the service was worth it. Unfortunately, this experience proved otherwise. With prices continuing to increase, I expected quality and customer service to match. Instead, I was left with broken nails and an even worse response from management. I won't be returning, and I would encourage others to consider whether this is a business that truly values its customers. Press-on nails might be a better investment.
