Kym's waxing studio is located in a cute little salon in the middle of Haddonfield. I walked in without an appointment and waited a good 40 minutes before she was able to see me. That being said, CALL and make an appointment! She is very busy. And busy means good. She was very sweet and easy to talk to. She matched my brow shape perfectly.. And even pointed out spots that should grow in (these spots never grow in but it was nice to hear the honesty) after 10 minutes I was on my way, completely satisfied. Highly recommended. When I spoke to the manager, Aliyah and Nikki (another waxer) came out of nowhere and were incredibly rude and dismissive. They insulted me and accused me of lying about my skin care routine. Ashley, the manager, was nice and did her best to damage control, she refunded my wax and returned my tip. Truthfully Aliyah did a terrible job and her attitude on top of it was unacceptable. But the ones I've been using for years are very good. Haircut for women is around $40-45, men $25-30. It comes with shampoo, head massage, blow dry and style. With Asian hair salons, they specialize in head massage using acupressure. This is a super generous add on bonus, they take their time with washing your hair and massaging your head. If you're not used to it, it can be too hard for you. You can tell the hair washer if you prefer light, medium, or strong massage. I love coming on weekdays, as it's not as busy and your hair washing and cutting will not be rushed. Super nice owner and staff. The only thing I would suggest improving on is for them to remove hairs from brushes and sanitize their combs, scissors more in between clients.

So I showed up to my second appointment AFTER I confirmed two days before and received MULTIPLE reminders day-of. Doors are locked and lights were off. I waited around for 30 minutes and finally had to leave. Two hours later, I get a text that there was a family emergency and she would like to rebook and I haven't heard from her since. I paid…read more$100 for builder gel on my natural nails, which is excessive considering I travel often and have never paid over $70 at other salons. I came in with builder gel already on my nails, and while I agreed to remove the previous set and add a $10 French tip on 4 nails, I was never told about extra charges added at checkout for "soaking off" and "length." Charging extra for removal makes no sense when nails are typically filed down during a new set anyway, and charging for length feels like an unnecessary add-on since maintaining length is part of regular fills and sets. Listing lower prices online only to add surprise fees is misleading, so I'd recommend asking about every charge beforehand. What made this worse is less than two weeks later my builder gel started separating from my natural nails and one completely popped off. During the appointment my nails were also burning badly under the UV light, which has never happened to me before despite getting builder gel regularly for the last 8 months. I called twice to address the issue and the manager has yet to return my call. Between the hidden charges, poor quality work, and lack of customer service, this was by far the worst builder gel experience I've had.
