She did an awesome job of explaining the different waxes and why their wax formula is the best. She also made sure that the wax was not too warm. Overall, it was not nearly as painful as I anticipated. As a first time customer, the wax was complimentary. Since I got the Brazilian, it was not included in the complimentary wax, so I just had to pay the difference between that and a regular bikini wax. Amanda also gave me some free samples of their lotion and exfoliation scrub. I did not feel pressured to buy any more packages, any products, or book my next appointment right away. I did end up buying a serum that Amanda recommend, just because I figured I saved on the wax and so far I have liked the product. The check out staff did a great job explaining how their packages work and how you get more points if you reserve your next appointment right after your wax. I also appreciated that they had a tip guideline on the desk depending on the service since I wasn't sure how much to tip.

She forgot and sighed like it was my fault she made the mistake. The owner sitting next to her said to her "you wanted to stay late and make your money" when she was annoyed. Padma's offers many types of salon services and henna. I have now been going every few weeks for my brow threading over the course of several months. Padma's is located in a strip mall in Voorhees. It's not your average fancy or aesthetically-pleasing salon. However, it offers a good variety of salon/spa services as well as Indian wedding makeup. The women who work here are dedicated and do a great job. Because Padma's is well-staffed, they are able to accommodate a good number of customers at once. For eyebrow threading/waxing, appointments aren't required. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes to get my threading done. Overall, I really like this place. The women who work here all do a great job. While they're not focused on exceptional customer service, they still do their best to make conversation and be friendly. For anyone who is familiar with foreign-owned businesses, Padma's has some of that sentimental "back home" feel. Their pricing is also much lower than others in the area; they charge $6 for brows and $4 for upper lip. This place is a true gem; I always make sure to plan my threading around the times in the area.

She will treat you like a human being and there is no judgement here. If you are a plus size woman and are worried about being uncomfortable, don't be. You will be treated with grace and dignity from the moment you step foot in her ultra clean studio. Fast, neat, clean, virtually painless. Feel like a million bucks when you walk out. I live in Marlton, her studio is in Cinnaminson, roughly 35 minutes from my home. Gas is $5 per gallon and I would drive to her studio if she was an hour away, that's how happy I was with my service today. If you have any doubts, let them go. Make an appointment and you will be so happy when you leave. I want to add one more thing; this is a small, female owned business not some huge corporation that forces the waxers to upsell product you already have and packages you don't need.
