Julie is not only INSANELY gorgeous, INSANELY talented, but she's an INSANELY kick-ass cool chick!!…read more I've been a big fan of hers for awhile now, and have heard nothing but incredible things from everyone. Her reputation is stellar! Ask anyone. No really, go ask! I finally had a reason to go get all jazzed up, and my only regret is that I didn't go sooner.... Julie did a full face of makeup, including contour and lashes. She knew the exact look I was going for...a deeper, darker slightly smokey eye and a pale lip. A nice warm fall look that made my green eyes pop. She made me feel so so sooooo beautiful! My skin was flawless and so soft!! My husband truly melted. I was so excited to see him, I felt like it was our wedding day all over again! It was pure joy. I told him I never felt prettier. It pained me to wash her work off. In fact, shhhhh....I left my eye makeup on for another day. Julie told me every product she used, gave me all sorts of insider tips: for makeup, skin, and more! She's seriously an expert on all things to make you feel and look your absolute best! No questions were off limits! She's totally rad & easy to talk to, and I loved gabbing about friends we have in common. Julie secures lashes using her own special technique, and while these types normally don't last too long in general, because of her skills, I was able to kept them on for almost a week, my entire anniversary trip! Wow!! Thank you, Julie! Julie does derma-planing and peels also! I will most certainly be making an appointment for that now that it's almost a good time to hibernate, although she said there's no downtime, rather it's just best if you're out of the direct sun. Julie hosts adorable kiddie virtual makeup classes and hosts parties! What a fun idea and a great way for your little girl to celebrate from afar during these crazy times! Julie will hands down be my go-to girl for almost everything now! She's referred me to many other specialists and gave me her links for discounts! She's seriously the best! During Covid she is seeing clients at remote locations and it couldn't have been easier to schedule. She of course wears a mask and makes sure you're keeping healthy and safe beforehand. It looked natural, but elegant - I felt gorgeous but completely myself. Also, by 1am my makeup was still intact which was just downright impressive. Nancy and her team were such a joy to work with! I initially was planning to book a different…read morebeauty specialist, but I wasn't in love with my initial hair and makep trial so I knew I needed to find someone else. My mother in law found Nancy and saw how highly she was recommended so it was a no brainer booking with her! She did my hair and makeup trial at my house which was so easy and convenient for me. She created an amazing look from a terrible description of what I wanted - I basically just showed her my first trial photos and told her I didn't really like it, that it was "too much" and I wanted "simple, but pretty". She took that description plus 2 photos I showed her of hair on Pinterest and gave me EXACTLY what I was envisioning. She is truly a professional and master of her craft! On the day of my wedding she and two of her team members arrived at the venue early to set up their stations so there was no stress about not getting started on time or finishing late. They are extremely efficient and actually finished everyone's hair and makeup (me, my mom, my MIL and 7 bridesmaids) about 30 minutes early which gave us plenty of time for touch ups and time to relax a bit before getting dressed. Again, no stress about time which is exactly what you want on a busy wedding day! She took a ton of photos of my trial look including photos of the products she used so she was able to replicate the look exactly, which I loved even more the second time! Everyone loved their looks and were so beautiful. Nancy's team (Lindsey and Rosa) are just as talented as she is and just as sweet. Nancy is very personable and friendly so there is no awkward "getting to know you phase", it's like working with your regular hairdresser who you've known for years. After the wedding I reached out to Nancy asking which lipstick she had used because I LOVED it (and the one she gave me went home several hours away in my cousin's pocket haha) and found out it was from her personal line on her website! It seriously lasted all night even with eating and drinking, I think I reapplied it maybe once right before the reception started and otherwise it was there all night. She also recommended some other colors she thought would work well with my skin tone which was so helpful as someone who rarely wears makeup (mascara and eye shadow occasionally) and never wears lipstick. She is extremely responsive to email and text so no waiting weeks to hear back about details. She also makes everything so easy by having a full guide of when you should be doing everything (do XYZ 6 months before, XYZ 3 months before), which again is so helpful for someone like me who doesn't really have a standard beauty routine. She also provided specific instructions for everyone the day of and tailored them to each girl with different hair types and textures. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Nancy. She is amazing, professional and worth every penny for the beautiful look you will get plus incredible customer service!

She said anything beyond 10 minutes late has to be rescheduled. Understandable, but I was only 5 minutes late... Also, my initial appointment was scheduled for 3pm and they changed it to 2:45 pm without even giving a courtesy call to confirm the new time was ok. They just sent an automated text with the new appointment time. I left work early and had a bit of a drive to go there. The girl on the phone also had an attitude. Veronica was the FIRST mua that didn't pressure me into it... In fact, she actually agreed with me that I look better without it. THANK YOU!! I'm not crazy!! I first heard about her through Anju (of AnjuThreads), who was hosting Veronica at her threading salon as one of her summer pop-up events. I was celebrating my birthday the week before the event, but figured that if Anju liked her, I would to. AND I LIKE HER! She came to my apartment and got me ready for my birthday with a gorgeous purple smoky eye. I was a complete mess that day because a billion things were going on, including the venue for my party changing 3 times in a day, and the built-in shelves I installed over my bed fell ON TO MY BED while I was at work (and thank god, not in bed), but Veronica was completely calming.
