Inside is a large area with plenty of seating, plus some additional rooms for groups to meet. We received a friendly greeting and helpful service at the counter. I ordered my usual London Fog (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), and they did a great job preparing it. I also ordered a Cranberry Orange Scone, which they warmed up. After a few minutes (to allow the tea to steep), both items were ready. The London Fog was excellent -- flavorful, balanced, and not overly sweet. The scone, however, was disappointing; though warmed, it tasted dry and stale. Two other issues detracted from the visit. Much of the furniture looked worn and past its prime, and there were flies throughout the space that were a constant distraction. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. While the beverage was very good, the food quality and atmosphere would keep us from recommending or returning.

Food meets butcher shop meets artisanal cooking goods…read more We ordered the New Haven clam pizza. Seemed to be a lot of pick up orders while we dined in. Small corner, maybe fits about 6 adults at counter seating (no tables). They had some games - connect four, hook on the ring and cribbage. Cute little kids area too. Pizza: well this was big for us as a party of two so we have the other half left over. The crust was so crunchy. Toppings were delicious! Real clams, creamy. I thought this pizza got better with each bite. Super cheesy, pulls apart. Would definitely come back to order their other ones!

Rustic ambiance with a mix of high and low table seating as well as a good amount of space to belly up to the bar. Service was excellent. The servers worked great as a team and our order was taken promptly, food came out steaming hot, tables were bussed quickly. Great teamwork. I had to have the smash burger as it seems to be a signature item. It was so good! Two huge patties. I got mine with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and sauted onions. Fresh. Delicious. Love the little crisp on the smash burger. So good. My side was a salad but I may have stolen a fry just for a taste test and they had my approval. I can't believe we almost drove away. Do not do that. Go in. Enjoy the experience.

I like that the employees are always friendly, and this might be related to the fact that it's an employee owned cooperative. And you can always count on a seldom played 80s and 90s song playing on the loudspeakers while you're pumping your gas. Their car washes are also really good and efficient. And we stop here for milk on the go sometimes. Fast and easy for my Sun Prairie existence. I'm docking them a star because unless you've been living under a rock, styrofoam cups are kind of not cool. Things I like: * Cheap bananas, potatoes and onions at 38 cents per pound. * A nice (though rather pricey) selection of groceries, so if I need something after the local grocery store closes, I can usually find it here * It is one of two RedBox locations in town * The store is clean and well lit * The always have multiple registers open, so I rarely wait in line for more than a minute * The cashiers are generally friendly * While not my first choice in coffee, they keep their coffee fresh * The kids are a fan of the slushies * They are open 24 / 7 They often have daily specials on pizza, burgers, hot dogs, etc., but I find the quality of these items near inedible.

Oh rats! I was hoping this place'd be better…read more.. Driven past this on roadtrips many a time; decided to actually stop in and check it out on the most recent trip. I'd been drawn in by the silly rodent statue on top of the building, because I like touristy shops. Upon entry I immediately realized the place was kind of dingy and gross. We got there with about half an hour 'til closing and this fact certainly showed in the affect of all the employees. I was curious about sampling some of the cheeses, but all of the employees were apparently too busy getting ready to close to help us, so we didn't get to try any of the many varieties. It was a bit odd to me to have potential customers there in the store during business hours, and the employees are steadfastly ignoring our presence to turn off the lights and such. We took the hint, quickly used the restroom, made a small courtesy purchase, then left. Speaking of the restroom, the floors were really sticky. Eww. Noticed they had lots of signage up that they were hiring. Yeah, they should probably hire someone who gives AF, if I'm being really honest, cuz it seems to me this place probably was great at one point but has fallen into disrepair. I got a couple pieces of taffy and hubby got a bag of nuts. We could tell from the taste/texture that these items had been sitting for awhile. I'm not a proponent of wasting food, but if your store can't turn products around before they're expired, I recommend perhaps just not selling those things and stick to cheese... Anyway, reckon we'll try out another of the many cheese shops in Wisconsin next time we drive through. There's certainly plenty to choose from!
